    Filetto Di Halibut

The food was great. We got the halibut and a mushroom chicken special - both were delicious! The wine menu is expansive which was great! The service was great, our server was very attentive. If you are looking for a nice place to get dressed up and have a nice night out, this is it.

Prices. A bit high for what the experience actually was

It was average overall. Average customer service. Average food. Average vibes. That said, there was one waiter/bartender (nick) who was very attentive and truly incredible. But overall, this was not an experience I'm eager to repeat. The bread service was tasty. The French onion soup? Hard pass. The veal Milanese was good- not great, but definitely good. The salad on top was great. I probably wouldn't come back, but it's not out of the question given the lack of good options in the area. So maybe relatively speaking, it was a 5 stars dinner lol

I dined here two nights in a row. The first visit I sat at the bar with Mike who was phenomenal and the second visit in the main dining room with Lydian was also equally as exceptional. BREAD SERVICE Hot dinner rolls and breadsticks served with soft whipped butter, olive tapenade and olive oil and balsamic vinegar *I loved the bread and options, went through two baskets both nights STEFANO'S CRABMEAT $17 Tarragon White Balsamic Vinaigrette, Arugula and Lemon *ginormous chunks of crab meat is a light vinaigrette dipping sauce, great starter STEFANO'S WEDGE $10 Baby Iceberg Lettuce, Roma Tomatoes, Olive Tapenade, Pancetta and Gorgonzola Cheese Finished with our House Blue Cheese Dressing and Balsamic Reduction. *realized after the fact that the pancetta was missing from the salad but overall a solid wedge SEAFOOD FRA DIAVOLO $36 Fresh blue crab, lobster, shrimp and scallops a spicy tomato and saffron sauce served over handmade tagiatelle. *large plump scallops that still had some sand in it, shrimp was overcooked and chewy, I also found the sauce to be much too spicy for me so it was difficult for me to finish, handmade pasta was soft and silky PROSCUITTO WRAPPED CHILEAN SEA BASS $40 Proscuitto wrapped sea bass over risotto with haricot verts and charred onions *sea bass was nicely cooked, the proscuitto didn't really add much to the fish, the risotto was delicious but I was very full from eating too much bread PECAN BALL $10 They have an impressive dessert tray and I picked the giant vanilla ice cream ball rolled in caramelized pecans and drizzled with caramel or chocolate syrup. I went with caramel but I feel like it shouldn't be an option it should just come with both syrups. SERVICE Mike was very attentive the first night I dined at the bar and Lydian split all the dishes for the two of us for dinner in the main dining room the second night which I really appreciated.

Stefano's was the perfect place to go for my boyfriend and I's anniversary. It is probably the nicest restaurant in Morgantown that I was able to find and the atmosphere was very romantic. It is right below a bowling alley and I thought we would hear people above us, but I didn't at all. The service was great, our server checked up on us often and was a nice kid. The food was fantastic. The bread to start was amazing. It was so warm and had the perfect flaky salt on the outside. I got the Chilean Seabass with Lobster and a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was decent, and came in a crunchy cheese bowl. The Chilean Seabass was cooked to perfection and the lobster part was a risotto with asparagus and was my favorite part of the dish. I definitely recommend getting it!! The blueberry mule was very good as well. Will definitely be back!

10/10!!! Stefanos was a superb experience and a great place to go for a special occasion. My girlfriend and I went for our anniversary and it was very romantic. Very classy and well kept place. The bread and salad were terrific and the main course was even better. I got their signature Veal Parmesan and it was so big and delicious. The fact it came with a side of spaghetti was the cherry on top. Our server was very kind and did a great job. Highly recommend coming here for a special occasion or just need a fancy night out!

Stefanos was selected as the restaurant to celebrate my buddy's birthday. Having heard great things about the restaurant, I'm glad I finally had the opportunity to visit for the occasion. It's located on the lower level of a complex that also has a bar and a bowling alley. Although the parking lot was quite full, there's ample parking available. Upon entering, the interior is dimly lit and took a few minutes to adjust to. Seating can be configured for intimate dining for two or four as well as larger groups. The decor is representative of its Italian namesake and bottle of wine are neatly arranged in a large wall display. Our server was Darien who greeted our party of eight and provided us with the specials of the night. He took our drink orders and returned a few minutes later. He was polite and attentive to our party's needs even though the restaurant was quite busy. I ordered the king salmon which was one of the dinner specials. Some ordered appetizers and a couple bottles of some excellent wine. Other offerings that our table ordered were halibut, chicken Marsala, Chilean sea bass and lobster. The only reason for the four star rating was the long wait for the food to arrive. The king salmon was served over long string beans and mashed potatoes. The salmon was incredibly moist and flavorful!!! The portion was perfect as well. Instead of desserts, a custom birthday cake was made by an awesome baker who was a friend of someone in our group. Chocolate cake with a layer of cookie dough and chocolate frosting and decorated with miniature whiskey bottles. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and the festivities. I highly recommend Stefano's for its great food and ambiance. The prices were a bit on the higher end but still reasonable.

Very good Italian restaurant in Morgantown, West Virginia . Living on Long Island, NY options were not available for Memorial Day weekend. The good Lord found my destination 7 hours away to Morgantown, West Virginia. NY doors were closed but Mr Jim Justice(governor of West Virginia) opened the door for me to his lovely state. I am grateful. I've listened to his press conferences for last 2 weeks. I respected his wishes and practiced social distancing during my stay. Great Italian food Start to finish. I give 3 thumbs up West Virginia Jim Justice & Stefano's

The two wood-fired pizzas were perfection - crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also shared the meatball hoagie, meatballs with ricotta, antipasto salad, caprese salad, cucumber-tomato salad, Italian chicken salad sandwich, and the Italiano... and then there was the porchetta sandwich - hands down my new favorite sandwich in the universe. I'm still thinking about it. As if that wasn't enough, we finished with imported gelato (strawberry and caramel), and it was the perfect sweet ending. Beyond the amazing food, the two young ladies working the front were so kind, welcoming, and helpful - it really made the whole experience even better. Do yourself a favor and don't sleep on this amazing little market & café. We will 100% be back!

The group was mostly Italian-Americans, and Italian food is their "go-to" comfort food, especially during such a stressful period. Nonno Carlo, while a bit on the pricey side, did not disappoint with its high quality, abundant, and authentic Italian food. We also appreciated that its location was only about a 5-minute drive from the hospital. Food. (4.5/5). We ordered and shared: (1) The Ellis Island ($15.25), which is described by the restaurant as an Italian American classic sub that is a "sandwich so big you got to take a boat to get there!)" It features herbed aioli, provolone cheese, hot ham, pepperoni, vinegar peppers and onions, lettuce, tomato, and balsamic, piled high on a Mancini's hoagie roll. It was served with potato chips. (2) an Italiano sub ($15.50), which features mortadella, salami, soppressata, capocollo, provolone, and Calabrian pepper spread, served on focaccia. (3) an appetizer, Meatballs and Ricotta ($8.95). This was a favorite, with three DeMedici meatballs served over house-made ricotta. It was served with homemade bread, which was perfect for dipping. (4) Caprese Salad ($3) -- cherry tomatoes, house-made mozzarella, and basil, finished with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. (5) Cucumber-Tomato Salad ($2), with sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and basil, finished with extra virgin olive oil and vinegar. (6) Dessert: 2 for $7 cannoli. (You could also order a single cannoli for $4). My rating is 4-stars rather than 5-stars for two small reasons -- (1) the subs were somewhat soggy by the time they reached us, from the vinegar/spreads on them, and (2) both salads were sour given the ratio of vinegar to olive oil in the dressings. I can't speak to ambiance or service, as this was take-out and someone else picked it up. I would eat in or order from here again.

Shortly after our waitress stopped by for drink orders and another large group of women were seated right next to us. We could barely hear each other. The entire rest of the room was empty! But they got seated less than 2 feet away. I know they were having a good time, us, not so much. Hostess tip: in this type of instance don't stack people on top of each other. There was plenty of space to spread us out. We ordered appetizers and dinners. appetizers were delicious: peel n eat shrimp, spinach artichoke dip and calamari (my grandson wanted it!) Dinners ordered: Beef Wellington, salmon (ordered blackened), Cajun chicken Alfredo, child's beef tips and chicken basket. All the dinners were great, as well as the asparagus, BUT, the salads greens were brown. I even pointed it out to the waitress, but they didn't seem very concerned. I even thought they might offer a small discount, it was that bad. For the five dinner with tip was over $225. You certainly can eat for less, beef Wellington alone was $50. All in all, beautiful setting, cozy dining room. Friendly staff. We will go back sometime.
