I got some service though and selected my first pair of on clouds. BEST shoes I have ever worn! Literally put some spring in my step. I got in the line of perpetual sadness and about 10 years later as I finally got up front I needed a walker not the shoes... just kidding!!! I actually went pretty quickly through the line and shortly I was riding in comfort again. If you haven't tried them... get some on clouds! You will not regret it!

Because of the timing, I couldn't even pick it up until Tuesday. The pricing feels highly suspect. For a bike that costs $350 brand new, I was charged over $200 for a new rear tire, chain, and miscellaneous items. To make it worse, I paid an extra $30 for a "lifetime membership" because they promised it would give me reduced rates. Instead, my bill somehow jumped from a quoted $160 to $202. The math makes absolutely no sense. But the worst part is the complete lack of basic safety quality control. When I finally got the bike home, I realized the front brakes were completely unattached and just hanging there. This is a massive safety hazard. They kept my bike for days, charged me hundreds of dollars, and ultimately handed me back a bike that wasn't even safe to ride. Now I have to waste my own time and gas to go back and get them to finish the job. Take your bike somewhere else where they actually care about mechanical safety and honest pricing.

There are minimal options of colors in specific gear and sizes. When ordering specific gear through them, expect a week or more wait for arrival of order. You can find a lot of the gear they offer online for similar or cheaper prices with quicker shipping. A majority of the sticks are top of the line (most expensive) and have signs of use from kids "testing" them for extended periods of time in their shooting area. If you use a popular stick specification such as hand, curve, or flex, you most commonly will not find the stick you're looking for. A standard skate sharpening has been raised to $10 and you should only expect a good sharpening from specific employees. In the long run, buying a Sparx or asking a friend to use their Sparx would be more cost effective. Besides the owner and a couple of the full time employees, most of the employees are high schoolers with little knowledge of sizing and information about the gear they are selling. Overall, I do not recommend shopping or working at Hockey Haven.

Florsheim men's tux plain-toe oxfords. After we compared them to two other pairs of similar shoes on Nordstrom's site, we decided to go with the Florsheim shoes from Macy's. We placed the order through Macy's and it was fulfilled by this Florsheim facility in Glendale, Wisconsin. The shoes cost $110 plus $9.79 in sales tax, so $119.79. Standard shipping was free. The shoes arrived in less than a week. As soon as I unboxed them, we were both immediately impressed with the look of the shoes. They looked just as good in person as they did in the professional pictures on the website. However, we all know the true test is the fit. I've returned or exchanged numerous shoes over the years because, while the shoes looked great, they did not fit great. To my delight, these shoes fit well on the first try. I was pleasantly surprised and happy. I used the "True Fit" feature on Macy's website -- I entered in info about a couple shoes I already owned (brand and size) and the True Fit feature recommended what size I should order these particular shoes in. It worked. If you see True Fit while shopping for shoes online, I highly recommend taking advantage of it. It can save you time and hassle later. The lacing was uneven on one of the shoes so that was annoying. Out of the box, the shoes came with the standard and common criss-cross lacing style, but my wife changed them to the neater and cleaner-looking straight bar lacing style. The shoes look perfect. They fit well and are comfortable too with Memory Foam insoles. These aren't my first pair of Florsheims, but they are the first in a long time. They knocked it out of the park with this order.

While I like their products, their shipping program is very poor. My online order appears to have been shipped from a foreign outsource--so now I will be billed for a "Cross-border Fee." If I had been aware of this, I wouldn't have purchased their shoes. My UPS (United Parcel Service) delivery was scheduled for this afternoon and I tracked it digitally for the past week. I made sure that I was home for my delivery. No delivery was even attempted by UPS. They transferred my delivery to the USPS (United States Postal Service) and no tracking numbers or operators that I've called can tell me where my package is or where I can pick it up. Obviously, I won't be sitting at home all weekend for an unscheduled "second" delivery attempt--when the first delivery wasn't even attempted. Very poor form. Perhaps I need to buy my shoes from Red Wing or Wilcox. I wear high-quality boots too--I'll think twice before subsequent purchasing of Florsheim Shoes online.

Both pairs happened to be on clearance! Two pairs of stride rite shoes only cost us $40! I was expecting to pay $50/pair from this store's reputation. The store also had a lot of toys, activities, stickers, etc. He could have stayed all day just to play in this store. It was difficult to get him to leave! It was a nice day, so we walked around the mall with his new shoes on. He really seems to love them and no tripping! I was surprised for transitioning from soft-sole to hard-sole shoes. We will definitely be back when he outgrows these!
