AND quick--I got right in. And the end result is that one day later I can see better then I have in months based on their diagnosis and following the after care instructions. I came here because they took my insurance and my eye doctor's office that I have had since I was 10 years old doesn't. Long story short--I think I found myself a new eye doctor. My concern is with the policy itself. While I understand that you choose to offer weekend appointments, I don't believe pet owners should have to pay a significantly higher exam fee simply because their pet needs care on a Saturday or Sunday. Offering weekend hours is a business decision, and I don't feel it's fair to pass that added cost on to clients who often have no choice but to seek care when their pets are sick. Comparing your fees to an emergency hospital doesn't change how I feel. Many pet owners aren't choosing between a weekday visit and an emergency hospital--they're simply trying to get their pet the care it needs as soon as possible. When your pet is ill, waiting isn't always an option. I respect that every business sets its own pricing, but I also believe pet owners have the right to express when those prices feel excessive. I hope you'll reconsider this policy, as I believe it places an unnecessary financial burden on families who are already worried about their pets.
