Vibes are immaculate here. The Grateful Dead theme is incredible. I didn't try any food today but I will be back. Their menu is extensive and they have plenty of options for everyone (lots of vegan food). The employees are so friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great matcha latte!

I'm not a big Grateful Dead guy. To be honest, I didn't even realize Stella Blue was named after one of their songs (hence my point of not being a big fan of theirs). That doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of Yelp because what is more important for this review would be how things tasted when I visited this little cafe spot in Huntington over the summer with my wife. Just in case you decided to keep reading (because I can get wordy), things tasted great. But before I fully get there, let's just mention that Stella Blue's interior vibe definitely fits with a mellow 1960s/70s rock style. There's a lot of color going on in this place between the exterior, the walls, the tables, the menu, and damn well everything. It can almost be a bit of an overload, but focus in on what you want to eat and drink and you'll be okay. For that, you'll find a menu with plenty of breakfast and lunch items as well as coffee, smoothies, and other drinks. My wife and I chose to just share one morning meal and a drink as she wasn't starving (and I had already drank a cup of joe prior). We went with The Grit Bowl which placed 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese over a bed of southern grits. The thing was piping hot and quite tasty with everything (including the meats) tasting fresh and not fatty. For coffee, we went with an iced vanilla latte which was formidable in flavor albeit a little too sweet for my liking. One quick note before I wrap things up, the walls in Stella Blue are filled with different posters and signs, but make sure to hone in on the paper about paying it forward. A cool thing that SB does is allows you to give them a donation and/or "buy" an item for someone who comes in and is a little short on funds. A nice gesture and something you really don't see (but should more often!). Overall, Stella Blue is a fun vibe of a spot offering up some tasty morning (and afternoon) grub. It's a little quirky bordering on a tad too "out there," but for the most part you'll find a nice place to start off your day in Huntington with a chance to righten your karma by paying it forward. So whether you're a Grateful Dead fan or not, you'll still enjoy a touch of great stuff (there's my not-so-smooth song reference).

Flavorless veggie burger w flavorless vegan cheese

I'm glad there's a place where people can get vegan options, but I just spent over $20 for a beyond burger on Ezekiel bread ($16+, + upcharge for pickles, + undeserved tip). The burger was unseasoned, no marinade or sauce. No healthy vegan ketchup options (Heinz is loaded with corn syrup). For $20 I should get something a little better than what I could do in a few minutes in my own kitchen for $3 worth of ingredients. Absolute minimal effort went into this meal. I was not the only one in my party w this experience.

I love this place! The ambiance looks great with a hippie vibe. Feels like I'm in a 60's and 70's cafe. They have a little cute retail clothing store in the back. We tried the MatchaMe and the DayTrippin which were new latte drinks on the menu. They're both not too sweet and delicious. The Smoked Chicken Wrap and the Hecksher Park Cheeseburger were so good. Really liked the bbq sauce and the smoked flavor on the grilled wrap. The cheeseburger meat was so juicy and soft. The sweet potato fries and onion rings are crispy. I need to go back and try out more stuff from the menu. The staff were very cheerful and kind.

Disappointed at the prices and quality of food here. The ambiance was very fun and friendly, but what you get for what you pay... not that much. I'm vegan and always love to try new vegan accommodating restaurants but this one was not it. Don't bother calling it a "bacon egg and cheese" if you're not gonna bother cooking the fake bacon (it was cold) or even seasoning the block of tofu that was slapped on my sandwich. Honestly insulting LOL

Cute little local bistro, very eclectic style. The staff was very friendly and was patient. My daughter & I met my SIL here for brunch. I was a little overwhelmed with the vast menu so it took me a while to figure out what I wanted. I ended up ordering a chocolate latte, a grit bowl with a biscuit on the side, and a waffle for my daughter. The latte was delicious and my daughter enjoyed her waffle. I was too eager to get into my grit bowl that I forgot to take pics of our food... I ordered my eggs over easy which can sometimes be hard to do. The eggs were done perfectly as was the bacon, perfectly crisp and not at all greasy. The grits were a little on the dry side but they were seasoned nicely. The biscuit on the side, wasn't warmed and didn't come with any butter or anything. I took some butter that came with my daughter's waffle and the biscuit, even with the butter was dry so I decided to take it home and try heating it with some kind of gravy to moisten it up. I ended up having it the next day, very lightly warmed in my toaster oven. I topped it with home made sausage gravy and 2 eggs over easy... unfortunately none of that helped to moisten the biscuit... I also bought a box of mint moonpies my daughter wanted, I was surprised that the box of 12 came out to $16. I don't know how hard they are to find, but I personally I wouldn't have bought them had I known the price before hand. Overall, I enjoyed the decor and my daughter and I enjoyed our food. I especially enjoyed the chocolate latte. I would come again and try something different if I were in the area.

Was not sure if this place would be open for New Years Day, but lo and behold they were open. Deena was helping and she was a breath of fresh air. Although she was out celebrating NYE, and with no sleep, she showed up for work and with a very nice welcoming attitude. My friend and I ordered a grits bowls. We forgot to mention to add avocado. I went back up and without hesitation, she went into the kitchen and got it done! I also ordered a smoothie with peanut butter in it. I asked her to make a special one with giving her ingredients. Smoothie suprise!! I wish there was a Deena in every restaurant! Yes, would go back in a heartbeat!!!

I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's a Grateful Dead themed cafe which was super fun and had pretty good food. I would like to support them and see them flourish! They are AWESOME!

I really wanted to like this place. i just want to say their service was great the workers were really nice. The space is nice. It had an cool ambience and decor. If you like nice workers and a fun environment to eat in with overpriced food...this place is for you! My gripe is with the cost of what you are getting. It's just not worth the money. I'm mostly vegan, vegan ingredients are always cheaper unless it's a substitute item like (vegan sour cream, vegan cheese etc.) i ordered a vegan breakfast burrito, it was $16!!! i live in san francisco, i don't think i have ever paid that much for a vegan breakfast food there. I paid, I was thinking oh it's going to be a big burrito. I was wrong. I just don't understand how this burrito would cost $16, the only costly ingredient was vegan cheese but it was a stingy amount. The burrito had rice, beans, tofu, avocado, vegan cheese and "pico de gallo". Again the vegan cheese is probably more costly than the avocado. The taste of the burrito was also bland, and I know people are going to say vegan food is bland and tofu is plain with no flavor. There is such thing as flavorful vegan food, this is not it. I had to eat my burrito with hot sauce from home so it was more enjoyable. I also ordered a large ice tea and lemonade which was okay, but made my total here over $20. Even considering inflation, a breakfast burrito and ice tea lemonade shouldn't be over $20. It just makes me think how much are the workers paid? Do they have to spend one to two hours of their wages on one meal here? Ironic considering they have a sign "no one wants to work anymore". It just made me curious how much are the workers here are actually getting paid. I won't be going back again. There are other places in Huntington that are better and a better deal.

Stopped in this morning and loved the look of this place ... I ordered the ghetto bagel ... toasted bagel with cream cheese and bacon... it was amazing... the coffee was great ... I will be back soon this place is a gem ... support local owned businesses

I was doing a pick up for uber eats. So I wanted to try the food and They charge me $26 for a grits and sausage, egg and cheese bowl. They are a complete rip off. The clerk was mean and had an attitude towards me for no reason. Looked at me like i had three heads! The food is needed all that good

The ambience is everything. A great place to have a coffee with friends and just vibe. Wonderful options for vegans/vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I personally enjoy their vegan BLT!! even if you are not vegan it's definitely worth trying.

There were toddlers and preschoolers in the restaurant with their families, so I asked the waitress to please change the channel. She looked at me like I was crazy and told me that she didn't understand what my problem was. I explained that there were graphic photos of people and crime scenes that aren't suitable for children, or really anyone else trying to enjoy their meal. That issue non-withstanding, I still don't think Over Easy is worth choosing over Hatch or Munday's. The wait for us was 20 minutes, which is the same for pretty much every other place in Huntington. It's also very small, so as a result the tables are extremely close together. We were seated in the middle of the floor, with waitstaff passing through very frequently on both sides. We had to constantly tuck ourselves in and watch our backs to avoid getting an elbow in the face. Our food tasted alright, but there were several issues. We both got variations of eggs benedict. I got the avocado BLT benedict, with avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon, and hollandaise on top of ciabatta. It tastes good, and I especially liked how orange and healthy the poached egg yolk was. However the ciabatta was pretty badly burnt. My boyfriend got the "classic" eggs benedict, which was served over toasted sourdough bread. This bread was ridiculous, over an inch thick and impossible to cut through without shaking the table and making a crummy mess. I would've thought the classic eggs benedict would be eggs with Canadian bacon over an English muffin; this one was just not the best.

We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back.

Eduardos was most accommodating by taking a late reservation and seating us at 5:45; they also…read moreaccommodated our party growing to four, so we were off to a good start. Getting the last table in the rear gave us relief from the chaos of young diners by the bar and was a cozy nook. Our server was gracious and brought us a fine bottle of Barbera da Alba , as well as a bread basket and an array of olives. The breadbasket had wonderful unique bread sticks and a nice flat cracker, however the bread seemed to be an oily, mealy, whole wheat perhaps, which was a disappointment. Places can't go wrong with a good crusty Italian bread, plain and simple, but i'm finding that a rare occasion instead replaced with bad rolls or greasy prepared sub bar bread. But we were not prejudging and looked forward to our primi piatte. My wife an I opted to split the arugula and parmesan salad, although we were tempted with the gorgonzola salad; not to be too critical, but a ceaser on the menu wouldn't have been bad. But the arugula was delish and the plate a decent size to split. We followed that with the linguine nera, black squid ink with cuttlefish; It was rich and the pasta had the right amount of bite and made for a great dish. That nice piece of bread would've been welcome to scarpe the bowl! Our friend got the gnocchi, with a braised short rib, which seemed to be enjoyed, but not raved over, unlike our black pasta. Another got the veal scaloppine which received similar meh reviews. We on the other had split the pulpo with veggies and Spanish spices and enjoyed the slightly charred and tender 8 armed mollusk. Overall, all the plates looked wonderful, were abundant and made us reminicrent of times in Italy with the hung Italian ads and pics. Sufficiently sated, we had decaf coffees, a cappucino and an espresso, no desserts, but the decaffs however had a strange appearance, seemingly watery, but was hot and did the trick, as did the surprise bowl of sour gummies to close out the meal. Eduardos was far from your run of the mill red sauce joint, which was appreciated and enjoyed.
