I have used this company for two clients of mine and do not recommend them. On both occasions they have left the job unfinished but still charged payment. In trying to rectify this with them they were extremely unhelpful and rude. The technicians themselves are always very kind and professional but aren't always able to handle the scope of the job and instead of saying anything they just leave the job unfinished. Also for future customers, I am not a customer of Stella. But they do make their customers sign a clause saying they won't complain or leave a review. If you leave a review they will text you and harass you on your personal time to take it down. So if this review disappears it's because even though I am not a customer the owner had his managers text me on my personal phone and threaten me. read more

We were assigned to Stella Electric through a home owners warranty claim. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 9 to 11 this morning. Well, I left for work at 7:30 this morning and I thought it was weird I saw the Stella Electric truck racing through the neighborhood. But who knows, there are other houses. I sent my husband a text about seeing the truck when I got to work around 8:00, and that's when he checked the door to see Richard Arnold's card. He never knocked or called. Just left a card on the front door and now we can't get ahold of the company to reschedule. And now our ticket is closed because we were "unavailable". They answered the initial call and were able to see me quickly. The Electrician that responded was very knowledgeable and quickly assessed the problem, and was able to correct the issue and complete the work rather quickly. The rate was reasonable, although I have no concept of pricing for the issue; replacing a bad switch, however the trip fee was waived because the work was completed on site. I had requested an estimate on additional services, as I had been pleased with the services provided, however I found that estimate to be extremely costly and opted for a different route for completion of the next project. Otherwise I was pleased with my experience. Everyone I dealt with was both knowledgable and professional and they solved my issue quickly. Would definitely recommend Stella, just be sure to obtain multiple estimates prior for price comparison. read more

We requested a quote from Stella Electric and was given one after sending texts/emails with pictures of the area where lights were added. The lighting in the entire house uses deep can lights. The quote was to add additional similar lighting throughout the house. We agreed upon the price. The installers showed up while my wife was home and I was at work since they don't work evenings or weekends. They said they were installing these low depth covered lighting and that's not what we wanted because it wouldn't match any of the lights in the rest of the house. Because of that they had to increase the cost. Then they finished installation but messed up one of our electrical switches in the bathroom where one switch turned on the fan and light instead of separately like it was set up before. Luckily, they came back and fixed that since it was an obvious mistake. That was done quickly and no issues. However, when I came home and inspected the work I noticed that several of the lights installed where not centered and are way off by an inch or two. I called an emailed the business for a few weeks and got literally not a single reply. It wasn't until I filed a complaint with the BBB that I finally got an answer. Apparently, according to them as long as the lights turn on that's all that matters. Having straight lights is just "personal preference" and they will charge me an hourly fee to come back and fix them. This is obviously beyond ridiculous. It's a minor fix for them that could be done in less than ten minutes. They're ruining their reputation and I've already warned several people who were considering new electrical work in the neighborhood about choosing someone else. Hopefully they will learn their lesson here and improve customer service in the future because this is very bad for business. read more

I originally hired this company through a general contractor, but I got more than my money's worth. This company did a number of electrical services for me, including adjusting outlets, fixing weird wiring that came with my house when I bought it, and installing recess lights in my living room ceiling. They came back multiple times to complete the work and make sure they were doing a good job. Excellent customer service. The electricians wore masks while they were in my home (during the era of COVID). I would hire them again for the next time I need electrical work done. read more

This company was incredible to work with. We lost power due to a large storm, and being new to the area, we were in search of a reliable electrician who could hook up our generator last minute. Despite an overwhelming number of requests in our area at the time due to the storm, Rich was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to fit us in a few hours after we had reached out. He was extremely quick, updated us on his arrival and status of our request every step of the way, and was extremely kind (even to our curious toddler!) and knowledgeable during a hectic time for electricians.
