I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and they didn't look great but i was like whatever's im not gonna complain cause they can't do anything but have the nerve to ask me for tip when I have wax in my hair and wax still left on my eyebrows I mean and I told him they were uneven and he said where sir can you see all the wax that she left in my hair I mean it's ridiculous. I have no problem paying the fee because I already got them done. I'm not gonna complain when there's nothing they can do they can't give me back my eyebrow hair so I just wanted to pay and leave and he had the audacity to Stop me and ask me if I'm gonna leave a tip and I said no because my eyebrows are uneven and there's wax still in my hair and on my eyebrows, I mean, that's ridiculous. Terrible service. Tip is only if you do a good job she didn't do a good job she left wax in my hair and i didn't say anything cause it was already to late but don't ask people why they leave no tip it cause your worker left fuckin wax in my hair

This is my go to salon! They're the best and so reasonably priced. I always see Lynn for my nails, today she did an ombré pink & white dip. I am in love with them! The salon is beautiful, you're offered a complimentary beverage while you have your service done. It's so lux. My nails usually cost anywhere from $40-50 depending on the service. I've paid upwards of double that for worse nails at other salons. Techs are always friendly and I'm never waiting too long. I suggest calling ahead as they do get super busy, but usually have openings.

They were absolutely lovely! They were able to help me out in a pinch with what I needed. I had previously broken a nail the day before and they were able to help me get it back into shape! They even helped me color match too! Oh and the inside?! Just wow! It's beautiful in there. The gentlemen that helped me out were so kind! Thank you for helping me!!!

I know quality and service can vary per salon, however, this was unfortunately the worst experience I've ever had. I had asked for dip and choose a vibrant lavender color. However when applied on my nails this was much lighter in shade. The nail tech said I needed more layers to bring out the color but even after 4 layers, the color was still more of a pastel lavender instead of the bright lavender color. The other issue I had was that when the dip was applied, not only did it look thick, but it also wasn't applied to my full nail. There was a gap towards my cuticle and the sides of my nails weren't completely covered. I think this added on to why my nails looked so thick and ugly. I requested she buff down the mail more to help not make it look so thick but there was no saving it. I had respectfully requested she remove the dip powder off my nails because they really did not look nice at all and would rather have nothing on. I had also asked for my cuticles to be cleaned but she ended up cutting a few cuticles too short which caused me to bleed from 3 different fingers. When I was getting the dip powder removed the cuts on my cuticles would sting really badly from the acetone touching it. Another (minor) things that also rubbed me the wrong way - I also got a pedicure which went well but after moving me to the tables for my nails, they didn't give me back my sandals and I had to look for them myself. I feel like the overall quality of service was really disappointing. I had really good expectations for this salon as it looked very nice on the inside. I do appreciate my tech being empathetic towards the end and offered to put clear pink over my nails. Sadly I feel like as a whole this was a huge waste of time and money and i will definitely not be coming back.

Update : The manager contact me and offer to fix the nails we talk and coordinate an appointment for Saturdays at 10 am confirm whit Justin the manager who contact me . When I arrive to the place the manager in turn SI ( which is the same rude guy at the desk I saw the 1st time here ) seems like didn't know and ask me to come back again another time . Well I didn't want to keep wasting my time here I tough I would give another opportunity but I would not bother to waste my time and money here , prefer to drive to my usual place at Kirkland better nail quality , service , hospitality , and better price .... I left A picture of my nails been fixed for my kirkland place ... since this place deliver poor job

-if I could leave 0 I would- I paid $140 for a new acrylic set and a basic pedicure and this is what my nails look like after just 1 week. I've never had service that was this poor. I was overcharged and had no idea until going to pay, which I was anticipating would be around $90. I normally don't go into nail salons and opt for doing my own nails at home, but since I had an upcoming vacation planned, I thought it might be nice to treat myself and now I'm on vacation with nails that look horrible. Go anywhere else!!!!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The day before my wedding my friend and I went to get our nails done. We were both there to get manicures and pedicures. I was 5 minutes late to my appointment (due to being stuck in a little traffic). Unfortunately, when I first arrived I was immediately met by the manager who had a nasty attitude toward me. I have been to this place before (many times as I like the interior design, cleanliness, and complimentary drinks) but always go to the tech Vivian - who does a great job at doing nails and is very friendly. Unfortunately, she is not there so I wanted to give someone else a try even though I've had mixed experiences with other nail technicians in the past. HOWEVER, this is the WORST experience I have ever had. I brushed the manager's attitude off as I was not going to let him ruin my day. Prior to sitting down, you indicate on a piece of paper what services you're wanting to get done and if you would like any drinks. I indicated on the sheet my request and asked for a hot tea. The tea was not brought to me in a timely manner as I was halfway through my pedicure and I had already asked five times for a tea. A caucasian woman next to me asked for a soda once and got it right away. Of course, this made me feel like I was being discriminated against. To make matters worse, I wanted a French tip pedicure but the gentleman who did my pedicure was not the best toenail designer and the lines were all crooked. I asked if someone could fix it and provide the design I requested. The manager rolled his eyes at me and laughed at my request. Since it seemed like my simple request of a straight line French tip was too much to ask for- I requested a simple polish change. I then received the polish change I requested, but as my picture shows below the job was not done well. He tried his best and was nice to me about it. However, I was on the verge of tears after this horrible experience before my big day. After my pedicure I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible so I changed my mind about the manicure because I did not like the way I was being treated. I opted to get a shellac color only and was met with the same eye roll and disrespectful demeanor from management. My shellac nails came out just okay and the lady was nice. Lastly, upon checking out I stated I should be offered a discount for the service and not being happy with my results or experience - the manager laughed at me and said why do you deserve a discount - you picked the older nail tech. So in other words it was my fault. He also got upset about the amount I tipped for my service. Honestly, I did not even want to leave a tip but did so for the technicians. I will not be going back to this business ever and I highly recommend you don't either.

Well I hate to do this, but after attempting to speak to management again today, I am leaving this review. Overall, Stella is a lovely salon with a great looking space and cleanliness. Their biggest downfall is their unreasonable manager who has no idea how to work in a service-driven space. Below I will describe in detail how he is impatient, rude, and really on brand with the other bad reviews prior to this one. 2 days ago I came in for the first time as my friend who got married yesterday picked this spot. I got a shellac pedicure and shellac manicure. We got treated very bad by manager from the get go- since he seemed upset my friend was 5 mins. Late to the appointment (though I was in time to inform him she was on her way). He refused to wait for her so we could start our service together (he mentioned having more appointments, but in the next 2 hours I was there only one more person came in). He refused to have us stay together throughout the whole time and as soon as they said my shellac was done they rushed me to the table to do my manicure. I have no idea why the manager was rushing us out, and it clearly led to my pedicure getting ruined! Since it was shellac and it's supposed to be completely dry I put on my socks and I didn't notice until the next day my foot was ruined. This is also not his fault but my manicure did begin cracking on the second day, for which I had enough and decided to return for a partial refund so I could go to my usual nail place to have this fixed. (I did not want to deal with the attitude of this manager anymore). When I arrived today he met me with the same attitude and refused to give me any refund. He offered to fix the shellac, but given how he treated me and my friend (she had a way worse experience I am sure she will leave a review for someday) 2 days ago I did not want to have them fix it just have some money back since I paid $130! I hope that the owners consider training him for better service in the future to other people who choose to come.

Great place very professional. Love the work they do. The products they use are high end. All the are very professional and accommodating. They are busy around holidays but not impossible to get an appointment. Thank you for great pampering . Highly recommending this Stella's salon. read more

My first time in here on the 12th, obviously from the reviews this place looks so nice and put together. The only good thing was the pedicure. Once manicure came I had someone start with prepping my natural nails and he didn't even make sure they were all evenly filed and shaped I had to tell him. But I paid $102 for this?? I'm not coming back, sorry not worth a whole bill. read more

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received. I had a classic manicure with color. The color started lifting and was gone off of 7 nails in less than 24 hours. All I did in that 24 hours was take my cat to the Vet; no cooking, cleaning, laundry or gardening. They told me that they could redo the color but couldn't guarantee the color to last. He told me I would have to go with gel or shellac for the color to last. I have been getting regular color for years and it always last more than 24 hours. I will not go to this salon again. I also noticed a nail tech use a towel for two customers. Not a good practice. read more

Very friendly and attentive staff. BEAUTIFUL salon and they have several precautions in place for the Covid requirements (glass screens, covered pedicure bowls, masks & gloves). I enjoyed my time with Eric, I felt like the mani pedi I got was worth the price, but when I left I realized I wasn't given the shoulder massage my package had in it. read more

I returned to Stella for the first time in a while and was really disappointed with the quality of my pedi and mani. The effort exerted and attention to detail from both nail technicians I had was sadly underwhelming. I had a gel manicure on my fingers and even though the tech push backed and cut my cuticles, they were left jagged with many sections untrimmed. The gel polish was also painted over some of the cuticles and the clear coat on top didn't reach the cuticle edge so there was some dull polish color exposed before the shiny coat started. The polish also started to chip within 48 hours. I'm not planning to be back. read more

Excellent nail salon that is prioritizing the CDC COVID-19 guidelines. The technicians wear masks, they ask you to use the hand sanitizer before selecting your nail color, and they have plastic dividers up at both the pedicure and manicure stations. The staff is nice and, since the salon opened only a few months ago, everything is still very new and clean. Plus, it's only a 15-minute drive from Seattle. Paid ~$45 for a regular spa pedicure & classic manicure and would definitely go back! read more

Wow! This place is fantastic. I used to go to Apollo nails when I lived closer to downtown. Now that I'm in north Seattle, I've been looking for a good nail place. I've tried a few in Shoreline but none great. BUT THEN I FOUND THIS PLACE! I got the signature pedicure that includes paraffin wax, lots of massage time, and more! They have a partition so everything feels safer and they require all people to wear masks and sanitize their hands. Im in love! read more

We have been here several times with decent results. This time we were told if we want to paint each finger a different color (colors of the rainbow, so 6 colors on ten fingers) it would be an extra $2 per bottle after 3 colors. Super tired of these extra nickel & dime charges. Won't be back. read more

The place itself was nice and had a good ambiance. The manicure itself was not good. I called to make an appointment the day before with a technician I heard was great. I asked again when I got there, and then they gave me someone else entirely. I got dips with extensions and they ended up blocky and past my nail bed. The extensions themselves are uneven. The technician also kept hitting my actual skin with the sander tool. read more

After looking at the pictures posted on yelp, I was so excited to try this place. Especially after not having nails for a while it was nice to go into a nice salon to have my nails done. I asked for SNS dip with a tip and told the lady the shape, length, color that I wanted. Only to have them all the wrong shape, length, and they were bumpy (I wish I would've taken a picture, or spoken up) i had already been there an hour and was tired i was just ready to go home and fix them myself. Three people looked at my nails and none of them said anything or asked if I liked them so I left them, someone different even came to finish the clear coat because the lady originally doing my nails was rushed away to start someone else. I knew he could tell that they looked bad but he still didn't say anything, again I know I could've said something but I didn't want to be rude and have her redo them. read more

I come here all of the time. Most of the time with no appointment. I was finally talked into getting shellac the last time I came (I never have an issue with regular) one week later, my nails are peeling and one chipped. I came in to get it fixed, no appointment as usual, the place is pretty empty and I was told there was no time to fix it. Is it because I wasn't spending money? I think that this is horrible customer service and after my nail is fixed, I won't be returning. read more

If you want a nail lounge that makes you feel pampered this is not the place for you! My daughter and I get our nails done about once a month. Our first experience at Stella nail lounge was good. That wasn't the case the second time but, we felt we should give another try. That was a mistake! My nail technician was abrupt and rude. I wanted a light powdered pink that I've been getting for years. It took two people to try and find this popular color...I ended up with natural. I had to tell my technician that I wanted my nails short and she never checked the length with me...my nails are too long. My technician would grab my finger really hard and bend it in a way that was painful. She kept talking to my daughter's technician at times...stopping work to make a point in her conversation! My daughter's technician stopped to take a phone call to her husband about what they were having for dinner! I wanted to leave midway but, just went to the end. Not much difference in my nails now than when I came in! Do yourself a favor don't go to Stella Nail Lounge. read more

Very gentle with my feet and employee's are nice to talk to. I felt safe and comfortable! The prices are a little higher than most pedicure places in town but they did a great job so I don't mind and the manager double checked a couple of times if the service was up to my expectations. This place is simply the best. I have been here a handful of times now and am so pleased with each visit. It's so beautiful inside and they offer complimentary water bottles, plus more beverages when not restricted by COVID. Not only do they do a great job, but the manager and all of the staff are so sweet and friendly. Allison is my favorite already but honestly all of the technicians are wonderful. I called to see if they would see me for a pedicure 30 minutes before closing and they were so accommodating. They didn't step down service at all and gave me the full experience despite the late hour. As each employee left, they said goodnight to the gal doing my pedi but also goodnight to me with a big smile and a wave. I felt terrible for keeping them 30 minutes past closing but they assured me it was no trouble at all and gave me great service. My favorite part of the Signature pedi is the fresh orange slices that they rub on your legs with lotion (when you pick orange as your aromatherapy scent) - smells amazing! This is the only place I'll go now, thank you Stella Nail Lounge! read more

Although I love the ambiance, customer service, and of course the nails, the price isn't consistent. Every time I come in the price change and I request the same thing all the time: acrylic full set, long, coffin nails. They don't address if they'll put "add on charges" to the receipt when you ask for certain requests. My first time I was charged $25, second time coming in $40, and this time $48. It keeps going up. I learned that different workers charge different price. I will no longer go back to this salon. read more

Jessi did amazing with my French tip nails ! She took her time and made sure each and every nail was even she also asked me to make sure she filed/ coated each nail the way I wanted them, which is very sweet of her because most nail salons are grumpy when I ask if they could re-shape or repaint a nail! Horrible front desk personnel. I was upsold a service and quoted a price. The price was even written down. When I went to pay the front desk did not honor the price quoted to me and, as I said, was written down. He became hostile combative. This was my second and last time going here. There are plenty of nail salons in Shoreline that are customer service focused. read more

I've been going here every 3 weeks for almost 2 years and by far my favorite nail salon that I've been to in our area. I always call the day before to make an appointment and by doing that I have never had to wait. The inside is not cramped like so many other salons in our area. The staff is always so kind to me. I like that they have you fill out the form beforehand. I am always offered a beverage which is a nice bonus. Polish and gel is high quality. I have been getting acrylics here and they never break. I always leave the salon happy! Not sure why others seem to have issues here.....never had an issue in my experience. read more

I decided to try to this place after seeing it on yelp. I was able to call in and make an appt. when i arrived, there was a big sign saying 30% off all services which was cool to see. I went in for a fill w/ gel. The interior is soooo beautiful. White & bright, really clean, Soothing music. 1 free complimentary drink. My nail tech was Tan. He did good & we had a good chat as well. This place was comfortable. Deff recommend :) their discount only has for another few weeks for their grand opening !! read more

This was my first time visiting Stella Nail lounge after hearing great reviews from friends. My expectations were more than met. The lounge is beautiful, the staff was so very kind and friendly and with the Covid-19 going around they are taking all precautions to ensure the safety of their guests and workers. Very poor customer service from the guy who runs the front desk. Constantly makes me feel shamed for needing acrylic nails replaced. They don't post their prices and then gouged me on an acrylic fill today. I had 5 nails that needed repair and a broken finger they didn't touch. They charged me $23 to fill 4 nails and $15 to repair the 5 nails ($3/nail). A brand new full set is $33. I could understand charging me a full set but above and beyond that doesn't make sense considering they only did 9 nails. But honestly it's not about the money, I've been a regular here for over a year and they couldn't care less. So over this place. Don't give them your business they won't care about you either. read more

This was my first time at Stella Nail Lounge. They greeted me right away and I did not need to wait. I filled out my form and was seat right after. They were very affected by their covid expectations. All of the employees were very nice as well. the salon was very clean and you can tell it kept that way. My nail tech Susan was so caring and sweet. She did an amazing job with my nails. She always made sure throughout the process that I was happy with my nails and comfortable. She showed me how you should be treated in a nail salon and made me really happy with the product. Overall, I would recommend this nail salon to anyone and I am very happy. read more

It was my first time in the salon and it's so cute and comfortable. I wish I would've taken a picture of my nails, but just imagine very cookie cutter square nails, not filed well, and the polish was so bumpy like oatmeal. I was so disappointed. I actually went home and removed them as soon as possible. When I asked the front to look at my nails, they told me they were bumpy because of the design. I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 and I never had a nail tech create such a thick and bumpy build up of polish due to a design. I loved the customer service and free first time customer gift. But I will not be coming back.

Last week I went to this nail salon after seeing some photos online, and honestly, it was the best decision! From the moment I walked in, the space felt super clean, smelled lightly of essential oils, and the staff welcomed me so warmly. I chose a soft pink and white French tip design with a little 3D pink flower accent on my ring finger. The nail tech was incredibly meticulous, asking about the nail shape, length, and color before starting. Every step was done with care shaping the nails perfectly, applying the base coat smoothly, and making sure the polish was even and glossy. The 3D flower detail was so well done, with delicate petals that looked beautiful both up close and from a distance. The final result was exactly what I wanted elegant, soft, and feminine, with just the right amount of charm. The polish looked super glossy and lasted really well (it's been over a week and still looks fresh, no chips at all!). What impressed me the most was the service attitude. The staff constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable, offering water and even adjusting the music when I mentioned I liked something softer. It really felt like they cared about the whole experience, not just the nails themselves. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality, especially compared to other salons I've tried in the area. Another big plus the salon is extremely clean, and all tools were sanitized right in front of me. Overall, if you're looking for a place to get classy, feminine, and beautifully detailed nails, I can't recommend this salon enough. I followed Allison from another Edmonds salon to the brand new Stella Nail Salon on Ballinger Way in Shoreline. Stella Nails recently opened with great fanfare and a big first month discount. It is immaculately clean and fresh in scent and feeling. All the pedicure tubs are plastic lined with disposable bags. It is beautifully decorated, sparkling in lights and decor as well as offers over 1000 nail color choices. The chairs are all new and vigorous in their massage and the staff offers you amenities from soft drinks to wine. The overall ambience is welcoming. I highly recommend my every there week manicurist and new BFF Allison - who is not only beautiful to look at, a great conversationalist but who also makes you laugh and smile during the services. Her professionalism and expertise far exceed normal services from a nail salon esthetician. Allison will insure that your nails or toes come out looking perfect...from the myriad of colors she helps you select to the shaping options for your nails to choices between dipping powder or acrylic. With her advice, I gave up nail tips and now have my own REAL long nail length with the dipping powders and a manicure that will last 3-4 weeks...still shiny and not broken. And yes, of course there is grow out but even there, Allison's application technique softens the grow out ridge. She is a fantastic professional and a lovely person. first off with COVID-19 lots of individuals maybe hesitant to get anything done. As soon as you walk in you can tell safety is their number one priority. It's clean, they have individuals sanitize hands before they're seen, they have shields for staff and customers (photo attached for pedicure PPE) if you're getting a pedicure or nails done and of course mask are required. Right off the bat they offer you water to drink and make sure you're comfortable. I came here with my teenage daughter not knowing what to expect and for sure will be back! P.S The gentleman that gave me my stone pedicure did amazing and I for sure get relaxed. read more

Absolutely one of my favorite NEW nail spas! I first learned about Stella right before COVID19 hit so I had to wait till they reopened, it was well worth the wait. Service is friendly and highly attentive. I also love that each technician refers to you by name, it really makes the experience fun because I like to talk ! COLORS! they have the MOST colors I have ever seen at a spa. From traditional, gel, to dip, they have hundreds of options.
