A fine place. The coffee is thin and chicory laced, but fine. My main problem was the service. When we went in the morning the baristas were impatient with our ordering and picking up of the drinks (we were walking down the long hall of the massively overpriced local art that seems obligatory for small town coffeeshops). When we went back at night, we were brusquely reminded of their closing time, and felt hurried out the door. As about twenty or so locals sat relaxed with fresh drinks. The baristas were even still making drinks for them as they were kicking us out! Great place for locals! read more

This place was AMAZING! I came into Roswell for a little vacation and was checking out some of the places that I should visit and Stellar Coffee had some great reviews. On our way out of town we decided to grab some coffee from here and it did not disappoint. I'm not usually a big coffee person so I don't know the difference between pour overs and what not so I asked about the Hot Irish Coco and it tasted as good as it sounded. The employees there were also very sweet and blonde barista (didn't catch her name) chatted with my mom while she made our drinks. Great place to stop by at and highly recommend! If I'm ever in Roswell again I'll go here for sure! read more

I was so happy to find a place with decent coffee and cool atmosphere. Tried the dark side and it was amazing. Also had a pour over coffee that was pretty good. Their breakfast croissants were pretty good too. If you're a tourist it's a great place to start your day since it's walking distance from all the fun touristy places. read more

Coffee is amazing the young staff however is not. Frustrating standing at the counter for ten mins while they clean everything before taking our order. They owner came and asked if they needed help with anything as another employee looked around and said no. The employee who responded walked out the back with the owner. For the owners purpose of associating everything with this she said she was going to Walmart to get sharpies and dry erase markers. Had a delicious cold brew coffee here. It amazes me how some shops don't understand the concept of ice in a cold drink-their ratio was spot on. My husband inquired about what beans they use, and she explained they use different beans for cold vs hot brews... the way it should be. We want in for breakfast and coffee before the alien museum opened. The service was great and super friendly. The atmosphere was awesome. Definitely a local feel where the customers feel at home and the servers smile and actually enjoy serving you. The bagels and chocolate muffins were awesome. The muffins were made in house but not he bagel. The bagel must have been locally made as good and fresh as it tasted. The coffee was very good but I personally like a stronger tasting brew. That being said, it was well worth the stop and I'd go back for sure if I'm ever back in Roswell. read more

Stopped into Stellar to get a couple americanos. It was a little before closing but the girl who made our coffees assured us it was no problem. After paying, and tipping, I noticed they had stickers for sale for 97 cents. This is where it gets dicey and the customer service falls off a cliff. The girl, who was new, at first told us there was no minimum on card purchases as we had no cash. After attempting to ring it up however she said there was a dollar minimum but didn't know how to ring in the price difference. Understandable as she was new. She went and got a manager who then suggested we buy two of the same sticker. When we said we didn't really want 2 identical stickers and wondered why they couldn't simply input a misalliance 1 dollar charge, she said the best she could do is up charge us for cream making the total $1.50. The interaction with the manager was all very curt and dismissive on her part. Having traveled the country the past few months we've been collecting stickers, especially from coffee houses, and plastering them over our 120 quart cooler. We've gone out of our way to support local businesses. At the end of the day it would've been so easy to simply say, "please just take the sticker, thank you for your business." My recommendation, walk a block up the street to Hangar 209. The coffee is free and Dominik was awesome. read more

Best coffee this entire trip. A must try. The dark side is espresso steamed into you choice of milk making the entire cup smooth and creamy. Just the right amount of strong. No sweetener needed. We stopped in here for coffee a year ago on our way through town. I almost exclusively drink iced coffee, and I was surprised by how good their cold brew was. When we made travel plans that would take us through Roswell again, I couldn't wait to go again. Normally when I have a memory of how good something is, I'm disappointed by the reality of having it again. But their cold brew was an exception. It was just as good as I remembered. It's seriously strong - not light third wave stuff. And it's cheap, too. It's seriously the best cold brew coffee I've ever had. I haven't had anything else here, but if they make their other coffee drinks halfway as well as their cold brew, it's gonna be good. Also, they're really nice, so that's cool too. read more

Came through Roswell on business, so excited to learn there was something other than a Starbucks by my hotel. My advice DON'T COME IN THE MORNING!! The coffee is good but if you order any food, the baristas will take FOREVER to make it. I ordered a bagel sandwich and it took the guy 30 minutes to make it and there were only 3 customers, and when it did come it was the wrong thing. I gave the shop a second chance though, and I am glad I did, the afternoon is a much nicer atmosphere and my food was made quickly. 5 Star coffee 2 Star service read more

I love third-wave specialty coffee. The coffee was pretty good and the wait-time was reasonable. The baristas didn't demonstrate a knowledge of the product but they were friendly. My espresso was balanced but lacking in body and flavor. I think your product is underpriced. I have seen too many good places close. The place is only 2 months old so that is understandable. I look forward to seeing good things from Stellar. read more

Got a iced kona mocha. It was good but a little too sweet for me. Nice shop with a nice area to sit down and chill at. There's also WiFi. Kind of in a odd location but it was like one of those crack in the wall shops, but definitely worth the visit! I probably will stick to drinking something's sweet next time read more

Planned a stop here after the obligatory visit to the UFO museum for the kids. I needed my afternoon caffeine fix for the last leg of our drive from Houston to Albuquerque, and Stellar delivered. Wife had the chai latte, which she loved. Not too sweet and great spice flavor. I had a simple cup of drip coffee. Very nice to see that they brewed it pour over by the cup, and didn't pull it from a hot holding unit. They will brew you a cup of any bean they have in house. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable. This was a great find and a stellar cup of coffee. read more

accidental find this am during a walk on Main. My first time in, anywhere downtown in fact. This is my fav type coffee house. Has a grill with handmade food items. Great service and friendly staff. Decent shop, nice ambiance, but the coffee takes forever to get, even just a simple drip. Plus side, they will do a pour over, downside, I'm not a fan of their standard coffee offering. The various blends always taste over roasted or like they have been sitting too long. Perhaps I should try a different drink there. Give it a shot. read more
