Buerger Brothers Construction built an addition to our home, which included a 700+ square foot garage, using concrete poured on Piers and a floor poured as a "Slab on void" due to bad soils report. They also built a new deck, and managed front yard landscaping. They are an honest, ethical, professional, and an excellent company to do business with. We started planning in May of 2019, with construction from June through October of 2020, we found ways to work during the early days of the Covid pandemic. Communicating with Christian was a breeze, he was easy to talk to, responsive, professional and truly cares about what you are conveying. Because I am a retired engineer I had to stick my nose into everything... From the beginning he brought in professionals from the Architect, Structural Engineers to the finishing Carpenter and Painter, each step was amazing and all within budget. The cadre of subcontractors hired by Burger Brothers had to meet a high standard of professionalism and produce a high quality product, they were all wonderful to work with. Of note, was the daily cleanup, the care taken and the security to the existing area, especially working in the midst of a pandemic! Inconvenience was kept to a minimum and in the end we can actually say the complete project went quite smoothly and was a great experience. Would I hire them to do it again? Absolutely "In a heartbeat, no doubt about it!" I just cannot brag enough about this company and I promise you will not regret your decision to hire Christian and his crew! I could go on and on, but you get the gist.... if you want honesty and professionalism, these are your guys! Without hesitation I would recommend them and would hire them again to do any construction project.

This was a very nice collaborative process, where we talked about appropriate overhangs, and how to deal with window trim that might be in the way. Templating took all 20 minutes. Within a week, we had the countertops installed, and sink mounted. They were very considerate to ask us about noise levels, since they knew we had a toddler that napped around the install time. We had an outstanding experience with A2Z Builders and our project manager, Noam Bar-On…read more They transformed the unfinished portion of our basement -- which previously had bare concrete floors, an awkward HVAC unit hanging in the middle of the ceiling (that I constantly bumped my head on), and a poorly defined utility area -- into a thoughtfully designed, highly functional space. What was once an uncomfortable, underutilized area is now a beautiful basement with a dedicated office, a workout space, and a much better-sized, well-organized utility room. In addition, they replaced all of our carpet with hardwood floors throughout the main level, and the results are amazing. The craftsmanship and finish quality exceeded our expectations -- the house feels completely elevated and refreshed. Noam was exceptional throughout the entire process. He worked closely with me on the overall design, offered smart and practical solutions, and truly understood what we were trying to accomplish. He came by daily to make sure every detail was executed correctly and was always attentive, responsive, and proactive. This project was long and stressful. We signed the contract in March 2025. We had a discussion…read moreabout the expectations about our back yard porch which introduced a change. Then we decided to get a digital rendering of the porch which came out great, but came with a price of over $1k in addition to the initial Estimate which was over 40k. Some time went by and we heard very minimal about the project between March and August. I decided to do a review on yelp to motivate the company to do something with our project. I received a phone call from the PM about how this affects their business. I agreed that I would remove that review and add a review at the end. Our understanding was that there would be quality control and communication weekly along the way however; this was not the case. There were days where the painter and foundation person came when they said they would and other times they didn't. A couple of times I would go out and look and tell the construction worker that the quality was not acceptable. This occurred on more than one occasion. I called the PM to tell him that this was the problem. It got fixed and we ended up with a beautiful porch in Mid November with a total of $45k spent. If you have the time and money to spend to guide this project the exact way that you want then yes, otherwise; I would recommend a different company.
