Solid Sammy spot!! Service was great, sandwiches were good and fresh. Super cute and clean inside as well. $50 + for 2 sandwiches and 2 smoothies togo, a little pricy but that's where we're at nowadays am I right? :) no complaints here, will be back and suggest to friends lookin for a yummy, quick lunch spot. I sent an employee into Stella's for a TO GO order of 10 breakfast sandwiches for our crew. They charged a 20% gratuity on a TO GO order because it was over 6 sandwiches. I very easily could've sent the employee to Starbucks and spent half the amount of money, but i wanted to keep it local and support small biz. Gratuity/tips is something you earn when you provide an extra service, such as waiting on tables serving food, taking used dishes refilling beverages and keeping a kind and welcoming attitude. Thinking you're entitled to a tip because you compete the task in which you're already being paid to perform is ludicrous. I worked in the food industry all through high school and I never expected a tip because I grabbed a pizza and handed it over the counter. This tip culture has gotten out of hand. Needless to say, I will no longer be taking my business to Stella's. To punish the customer for bringing you business is a lousy business model.

Amazing!! That was such a great experience I feel compelled to leave this review immediately while leaving. Awesome breakfast, delicious coffee, friendly service, cozy dog-friendly patio -- what a local gem. If we're ever in this area again will absolutely stop. YUM!

Cool decorations, log cabin style. Lunch, Santa Fe wraps, pesto chicken, BTLA and tuna melt. Salads, soups, kids meals, a grilled cheese, also offers breakfast, avocado, toast, waffles, steel cut, oats, southwest wrap, and smoothies selection. I got a tuna melt on a ciabatta roll for $15 and a side of roasted red pepper soup. The place was jumping for a Saturday afternoon, at least 15 people inside in the parking lot full

Cute little coffee shop! Women owned and very nice inside. The staff were super helpful when helping determine what I should get and they made a damn good chai tea latte! Menu had some good offerings- we got the breakfast Sammy with bacon and egg, one with sausage and egg, the good morning wrap (my favorite) and some sugar cookies. Well priced too!

Awesome place, if you blink you might miss it!! Great if you're passing through... delicious sandwiches and drinks. Breakfast menu is limited to mornings and the seating is also limited. You order at the register and wait for your food. There is a nice lawn area to sit outside if it's too busy.

With all the cute "cabin" signs, they really need one that reads "line forms here" as when it's busy and hot it turns into utter chaos with people ordering takeaway sandwiches - passing the laminated menus around, pushing through to get to the bathroom, and trying to join the line from every angle. Action inside the kitchen is at least as chaotic. The sandwiches and ice cream were amazing, though, and they do have a great selection of gluten free baked goods. All sandwiches are available on gluten free bread. Super cute rustic decor with a great patio. read more

We came upon this spot while passing through town and we LOVED IT. They have some amazing healthy options that we always look for on the road and rarely find. Terrific place - delicious sandwiches and friendly service. We arrived at a fortunate time when there was no line- I can see that a crowd would slow things as they aren't very big. Nice outside seating and good prices; best place for lunch in Cle Elum and I drive through frequently on work trips. read more

Happy we came across this Gem! The sandwiches are very very good. Good menu as well. I had the Locomotive...and it was perfection. We came by here for lunch on our way back to Seattle from a weekend camping. This place was the perfect stop for lunch! 3 of the 4 of us got sandwiches and the other got soup, plus two of us got smoothies to go with our food. Everyone was so happy with their food! We were recommended this place by a friend. Upon entering we noticed that it was cozy and comfortable. Our 'welcome' by the staff was warm and friendly. We all had sandwiches for lunch. I ordered a Turkey BLT for $8.50 and was surprised to be told that, upon the delivery of my sandwich to our table, there wasn't any more bacon and was given extra cheese instead. I didn't make a fuss but thought that the bacon was a pretty important part of my sandwich and they should have known whether to '86' the item for lack of bacon or 'make it right' by offering something else to compensate for not having bacon. Here comes the kicker: a few gals entered right after we received our order and also ordered a Turkey BLT, BUT they weren't told that there wasn't any bacon. They got bacon!!! At this point, I'm feeling a little slighted, upset, and am unsure as to why they decided not to put bacon in my TBLT. I am usually very understanding in situations like this (almost to a fault), but I can't help but wonder that perhaps my skin color made a bigger impression than my friendly demeanor. read more

We were looking for a quick lunch in Cle Elum & saw a porch full of happy people at Stella's, so decided to give it a try. So glad we did! They have a small but creative menu of salads, soups, and sandwiches, delicious freshly brewed iced tea, and several very tempting baked goods as well as ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. The service was quick and extremely friendly. My veggie wrap was perfect for lunch, and my husband was very happy with his grilled triple cheese. We'll certainly be back! read more

My hubby and I stopped here on our way back to the west side. The place is super cute with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu had a lot of options. My husband got a turkey cranberry and I got a blta. Both were very good. Service was a bit slow but they were also very busy. The restaurant was cute and clean. We would eat here again. read more

What a gem! We wandered in last weekend after pulling into town for gas and something to eat. We were greeted at the door by "Ralph" the owner. Friendly and accommodating, he told us about his business which he named after his grandmother. Great food, wonderful service. Felt like home. After having my little Northern Exposure fan freakout in Roslyn, I drove just down the road to Cle Elum to have lunch here. It was a good decision. After having dealt with some high falutin' food providers in the last 2 wks (and having them attempt to roger us service and food wise) we wanted to just blob in a cafe and have a coffee and a pastry and be treated like a human. The ladies at Stella's did the right thing with us and some more. Fantastic coffee and chocolatey mocha and some great store made pastries. Plus they actually gave a flying fig which was a refreshing change. Friendly, prompt and a real treat in a area where you don't really expect it. We will definitely be dropping by should we revisit the area. BTW, the artwork is great, especially in the bathroom :) read more

My 2 teenage sons didn't enjoy their biscuits and gravy and they eat nearly everything! The service wasn't great neither. Things like accommodating a side of fruit was complicated and the person taking the order must have been overwhelmed with our order bc she forgot to charge us for an item which we found out about after we started eating and had to leave the table to get it ordered/ringed up at the register. Established in 2011.

Originally opened in 2011 by Ralph Allmand, as life long dream to share his grandmother Stella's homemade recipes. Jaimee joined Ralph in 2014 and helped bring Stella's to the next level of healthy and delicious foods. In 2018, Ralph decided to retire and graciously offered Jaimee the chance to continue the Stella's tradition of fresh and healthy foods. Today, Jaimee and her crew offer traditional and new dishes, baked goods, smoothies, and coffees.

This is an excellent location to take a break, score caffeine and a panini sandwich and be back on the road with a minimum of fuss. The new owners have added more tables and upgraded the kitchen for a wider menu of sandwich choices. We had a perfectly melted turkey panini as well as a lightly glazed homemade scone to die for. My latte was fine. We enjoyed chatting with the new owner who obviously has put a lot of heart into the place. We're delighted the coffee vibes in this location have carried on; it's a great first stop when riding a motorcycle eastbound from Seattle. Heartily recommended.

Well, it was soo incredibly good that we ended up eating breakfast and lunch at Honey's Kitchen the second day. The waffles are to die for. My husband had the Wild Berry Dream waffles and the Banana Foster waffles for his 2 breakfasts. Both dishes were incredibly tasty and he rated them both 5/5. I wanted more protein so got the fresh fruit chaffle waffles the first day which are made with almond flour, cream cheese and other delicious high-protein ingredients. They were nice and crunchy on the outside with a soft moist texture on the inside. The fruit compote on top was amazing! For the second day I had the Baggins (apple slices, whipped cream and a nice sauce) on chaffle waffles (ie high protein). SO Yummy!. For lunch we both had the "Risk it for the Biscuit" which we also rate as 5/5. Note: they make their own biscuits and even have an "everything on it" biscuit which is a nice take on what you commonly get with bagels. I highly recommend this place without any hesitation!

The tacos were a 10 out of 10, the fire pit was awesome outside and I note several little improvements wherever I look. Under the old ownership, things seemed to be slipping toward the end, but all that is fixed now. I haven't been at this place for a couple of years and was passing through so I thought I'd give it a shot, and I'm super glad I did. It is once again on my list of cool places to stop in my travels. Amazing.... I stood for ten minutes to be seated while all manners of wait staff scurried about. After deciding i had already spent too much time waiting I slowly about faced and walked out, halfway thinking some one just might pop out and seat me (which the sign said would happen). A pair of youngish wait staff did appear, engrossed in chat, but no dice, they ignored me. I even walked slowly past the front, stopping by the "open 24 hours everyone welcome" sign to take a last look at the strangest cafe I had ever seen. I studied the patrons dor a clue to my toxicity. It occured to me that I was the only male in the vuilding to either not be wearing either seahawks fan clothing or wearing a baseball cap backwards. For the first time in my life i was too hoghbrow foe the place. So i went a few blocks down to the Cottage cafe and enjoyed the cheesy christmas decorations and cheerful welcoming staff. read more

Just finished my takeout. Convenient , easy, and delicious! I got the Caesar, Teanaway Turkey BLTA, and Locomotive. My toddler could not stop eating his BLTA (I couldn't help to take a bite). My favorite was the salad, simple but amazing. With Stella's being just down the road I will definitely become a regular customer especially since they have coffee! :) Staff was extremely friendly as well and I appreciate her welcoming me for it being my first time in! 10/10! read more

Disappointed that they've involved politics in their business with a sandwich board reading "Democrats and black lives matter." Despite your political views (opposing or not), it doesn't make families feel welcome when you decide to be divisive and one sided. Unfortunate and stupid business decision. We've supported them for a long time (the old owners were MUCH better), we won't be supporting this business any longer. read more

My sandwich tuna melt is mouth-watering, juicy and scrumptious. However, some people really think that the best form of flattery is devouring the whole cardboard box too! Kidding! It was delicious and the staff is super friendly. It's a family owned cafe/coffee shop. And their sandwiches are excellent. You can choose your own bread so it's not just sliced bread which I saw someone wrote in a review they have ciabatta and other kinds of bread too.
