This was the perfect spot to meet up with a Yelp friend for coffee! I was met with a friendly vibe as I entered and found a table. My table had a great view of Stemma's coffee roasting area! What a cool sight! Plus, I was impressed by the fact that Stemma roasts their own beans! And speaking of beans, my Dirty Mama (espresso with house-made horchata) was absolutely delicious! I nearly ordered a second one! The flavor was on point! The avocado toast was yummy too and definitely enough to share! Luckily, I was able to find parking along the street, but I can imagine how difficult parking might be if it were a busier time of day, so allow yourself ample time to park. The seating is a bit limited, but other than that the ambiance is impeccable. I ordered the Dirty Mama craft coffee, and it tasted amazing. Very sweet with a touch of cinnamon that added nicely to the classic coffee flavor. It also felt like it had a good amount of caffeine, which really helped with my productivity! The presentation wasn't anything to write home to mom about, but it got the job done. The baristas were another part of this place that really stood out. They were so friendly from the get-go and asked me all about myself. It made me feel really special haha. Overall, great place, especially compared to the other coffee spots I've been to in DTO. Met up with a friend that I know from a Yelp event, we both love coffee so it seemed like a perfect meet up spot! It's located downtown Orlando, I expected not to find parking but because of the time of day we went there were no issues with that. Both of us ordered the Dirty Mama, it Horchata Coffee, the sweet and Cinnamon was a perfect balance, it is a sweet drink so if you don't drink your coffee with sugar this one is not for you. Came here on a Sunday around 2pm. The cashier was kind and so was the barista. I had the horchata matcha and it's the best thing I've ever had. I sipped it before mixing it and the horchata was perfect. When I mixed the drink the combination of horchata and matcha was perfect. I want to come back and try the food. Kevin had an iced coffee he enjoyed it. The inside is small and there limited seating but there's tables outside too. The place is decorated nicely, it's cozy vibes. So i recently went back to stemma and tried the El Guerito iced coffee and it was so good. I will say the coffee itself takes a bit bitter, however the sweetened pineapple foam adds a silky touch of sweetness . I stirred it in the coffee so it makes a big difference . I really enjoyed this drink. I haven't been to stemma in a while so it was a nice treat . The servers were very nice and great at making suggestions. I say this place is aesthetically beautiful, but their coffee is hit or miss for me. The good thing about their coffee, they have several options, but the menu isn't so creative compared to other places around its area. On my most recent visit, the service was not as welcoming or attentive. It was a busy rush when I arrived and the place was full, so I would not expect to be able to chit chat, but the person taking my order seemed annoyed the whole time and when my order finally came out, they didn't call my name and it just sat there until I came over and asked if it was mine and the guy was like, yea, sure. The space is somewhat small, loud and when there is a line you awkwardly stand right in front of the entrance, so it is hard for people to get in and out. Despite that it is a cozy and well designed space with lots of natural light. There is also some seating outside, which is a nice option. I recommend you check them out. Super charming coffee shop in downtown Orlando. They have indoor and outdoor seating, however by 10 the indoor seats were all occupied. The baristas are all super friendly. This was my first visit to Stemma and I had a lovely experience. The street parking is super convenient and easy to use. The shop is absolutely gorgeous! The art, seating, and aesthetic is so welcoming and relaxing. I love how their to-go cups have pink lids. I got a hot lavender latte and the burrata and avocado toast. The latte was decadent and had lovely rich flavor. The toast was a good size for the price and the toppings were balanced. I didn't love the bread it was on. I wish it was a nice sourdough. However it was still yummy. Service was amazing and they made sure I was happy with my order and apologized when my food came out a little late. I've been coming to this shop for about two years, but my recent experience was disappointing enough that I won't be returning. Over the past few months I've noticed constant staff turnover and a clear decline in coffee quality, but this last visit made it clear that their core values have changed. I stopped in to try a new seasonal drink, which was made extremely sweet with the ratios clearly off. I rarely ever have done this, but since I knew I wasn't going to drink it, I politely asked for a different drink altogether. The two baristas, neither of whom I recognized which has become common due to the constant turnover, looked at each other, made a face, and told me it was their policy not to make another drink if a customer doesn't like the first one. They said they would "make an exception this time," but that I shouldn't expect it again. That response was surprising and pretty disappointing. In most coffee shops, especially in Orlando, trying new drinks is encouraged and they even let you sample items if you're unsure about ordering something new. If something misses the mark, you can choose something else without being made to feel like an inconvenience. If Stemma's policy is to penalize someone for trying a new item and not liking it, it's not a customer-friendly one. The interaction felt corporate, impersonal, and slightly rude. Combined with the fact that the coffee itself has become mediocre, I'd rather support shops that appreciate their customers, have their drinks dialed in, and actually want people to explore new menu items. The old Stemma baristas used to check in on us and genuinely cared about the experience. It feels like those core values and the quality are gone. For these reasons I won't be returning. read more

The first time I came to this place was over the holidays last year while my sister was visiting and that is what happened. We ordered different things and had the same reaction. It was a breakfast pit stop before we pedaled in swans on Lake Eola. More recently, I came here to meet a friend for coffee and nosh while we both worked our respective jobs remotely. I ordered a dirty mama and "mmmmmm" like I said! Their avocado toast was light and equally filling. I love the decor here too. There is a lot of natural light, fun walls and bright colors. The staff is very friendly and I actually ordered what was recommended by the person working the counter. My only gripe (and this is not the fault of the establishment at all) is the parking / parking meter situation. Pro tip: do not even GET OUT of your car until you're completely done paying the meter. I made this mistake as my transaction was processing on my phone and was given a parking ticket even though I went back to show the person it was processing - it hadn't even been 2 minutes. A friend of mine asked me to join her for coffee and suggested that we try Stemma as a newer coffee house option. I can say for someone who doesn't live or work downtown the parking is kind of a pain, and when I walked in I was freezing! I'm typically a cold coffee girlie but chose hot because of how cold it was. I shouldn't complain considering how hot it's been lately but it really felt like the arctic where the penguins are in Sea World. The guava cheese pop tart I asked to be warmed up but it still had some cold parts which was unfortunate. I was really looking forward to the hot, oooweeer goooey goodness of the guava and cheese. Really cute coffee shop downtown, that offers plenty of seating. The coffee is tasty and the staff was nice! The internet was fast, no complaints there. Parking is tricky in this particular area. I have my spots that are located a bit closer to me in the neighborhood but this is a wonderful option if you are already in central downtown. Great little gem of a coffee shop. The coffee itself is delicious. The staff are very sweet. It is kept clean with a nice bathroom. The seating situation isn't great, while you can and people do work in there it's always super busy and the seats are so close to one another it's hard to sit without feeling like you're all up in someone else's business. This isn't a problem for me because I'm always just popping in to grab something and go but I thought it is worth mentioning in case you're trying to find a place to post up and work or study. As is generally the case, the reviews were spot on. I would encourage everyone prior to patronizing the establishment to read the "About Us" drill down link on the coffee houses' webpage. You'll quickly understand they are operating not only to provide quality coffee and food items but also honoring and carrying on the legacy of a dearly departed loved one. At this initial visit, after speaking with the friendly and informative employee, TJ, I opted to order the "El Guerito" which included Iced Expresso, Sweetened Milk, Pineapple Foam, and a Grated (Nilla) Cookie. The beverage was superbly balanced and tasted delicious. As to the ambiance, the interior design scheme of the coffeehouse lends itself to a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The coffee bar itself is so dang cute, I love the terrazzo bar with light wood accents. We only stopped in to try the coffee but they have many food options available too. I was hearing some buzz on El Güerito, so wanted to try that. It's iced espresso with biscoff, pineapple foam and sweetened milk. I don't think I tasted much of the pineapple foam but it was a good specialty drink. Inside is dog friendly, which is a plus and would love to bring my dog in next time. A great new addition to the Orlando coffee scene! There surprisingly are not a ton of great coffee shop options downtown, and the ones that we do have are always packed. I decided to stop by Stemma on a Friday afternoon to get a few hours of work done. I was able to easily find metered parking nearby and scored a cozy corner of the shop to post up. I like the vibrant colors, fun neon signs, and overall design of the space. The bathroom is also very cute with pretty wall paper and gold accents. The staff was friendly as I ordered one of their signature craft lattes -- the El Güerito (iced espresso, milk, pineapple foam, & grated cookie on top). The drink is well-balanced & delicious. They serve Nicaraguan coffee and you can actually see where they roast the beans in-house.
