The service I booked was the jet scalp exfoliation for braids, and to say that the experience was AMAZING is an understatement. Anyone who wears braids understands how challenging it can be to keep the scalp as clean as possible while also attempting to keep the braids neat. I took a chance to try this salon service, and I am so glad I did. Once seated on her chair, she examined my scalp, used a product to loosen up the buildup, and then began using a scrubber to remove it. Next, she used a jet peel system to unclog the pores and remove the toxins from the follicles. Afterwards, I was asked to lay on the massage chair - this was something I was not prepared for since I assumed the jet scalp exfoliation was the end of my service. I am so glad it was included in the service as I have been viewing all the videos of this experience on her IG page. The massage chair was turned on as she began washing and massaging my hair - it was so relaxing that I fell asleep and eventually woke up to the sound of the timer she set. This is not a salon - it is a peaceful spa! My appointment came to an end with her drying my braids with a blow dryer and adding moisture to the scalp. My hair has never felt lighter and cleaner. Walking out of her salon, I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you're thinking of booking, just do it - you'll be happy you did.

The barbers are always sure to clean their tools and the shop is relatively large. I never have to wait for more than one person in front of me and Junior has even held my spot in line a couple times. He remembered my cut from the first time and never skips a beat when I sit in his chair. I'm a picky customer and he always nails it. I'm sure the other barbers are great as well. The atmosphere in this place is SO chill. Fun music and lots of laughing. Seems like a good mix of young and old clientele. Prices are standard, hours are forgiving, and service is great.
