The owner is cool but the installer don't know what there doing, bought a $430 viper alarm from them and you can barely hear the alarm, went back, they said there was nothing they can do and that the loudest it goes. The good: super friendly and easy to work with. They were cheaper than everyone else I called, by a lot. They got me in same-day. They have a comfy couch to sit and wait on, if you choose to do so. The bad: they installed my component speakers for me (woofers and tweeters) but they left my existing tweeters connected as well, so there were two sets of tweeters at once and it sounded like trash. I had to open up the dash myself to unplug the stock tweeters to get it to sound good. All in all, I'd say you get what you pay for. If you want a knowledgeable and professional job, I'd go elsewhere. read more

Got one 12' sub. At first we had an issue with a defective amp, but they quickly fixed the issue I was having. If your looking to get decent audio for a very reasonable price I would go here unless your planning to spend over $1,000 in audio alone just due to the wiring they do, and the overall quality. Disappointed I asked for a car alarm viper remote start for my car and he says ok $350 so since I have taken 3 cars in in the past he gave me a price for $300 so he ended up putting a alarm cheaper version avital which you can get at Amazon for $50 I should of looked at the invoice before I paid him he wrote avital remote start alarm instead of the viper we talked about on the invoice bad business practices I would of gave him more business because of friends and family but this is where I get off my advise look at invoice and go over it with him before you start work or pay anything. read more

I wrote a review a year ago about how great these guys were. Maybe I was blind because they were making a sale, which is sad. I returned to this place because the stereo that I purchased with my hard earned money decided to take a dump. I thought no problem right? Take it back, local businesses usually will do what they can to make sure you're a happy camper. I called Stereo City, let them know my stereo wasn't working right, the "state of the art" touch screen appeared to have went out. The owner said to immediately bring it in and they'd have a look at it. He confirmed, "yeah, its not working." I told him, I only bough this a year ago. He said we have a 30 day warranty and the manufacture has a year warranty. Cool, so how do I get this fixed. I didn't pay for a new stereo only to have it fail in about a years time. If anything, the owner should have changed it out and dealt with the manufacturer himself. I mean Stereo City's name is on the line if they are selling junk right? Wrong again. He literally, said "yeah, you should call the manufacturer". I said "that is all you can do?" "Yep". He wouldn't even look me in the eye when handing my keys back. Kinda sad. I said "you are selling junk and doing nothing about it....thanks" So, just know, I don't have anything against the owner or his shop. Just be really careful when purchasing from them. The sell junk and don't stand behind their products or care. I will never be back. read more

Got my car radio installed. They broke the plastic peice where the screw is suppose to go underneth the a/c knob. If it wasn't for me to open up my panel and see their work this would have gone unnoticed. Would not recommend if you want everything returned the same way as you dropped it off. I took my car in to get windows tinted. Took car back as the tint has started to bubble months later. They would not honor the warranty. They came up with some lame excuse that i had used ammonia from window washing solution on the rear window. Why is this only happening to one window and not the others?
