Last month, I took my teenage son's RAM pickup truck to Dynamite Car Audio in Clovis and spoke with the owner, Chris. I explained that I wasn't sure what was wrong with the stereo. I just knew the speakers weren't working properly, and I wasn't sure if the amp was working either. Chris and his team quickly diagnosed the issue. They discovered that all the speakers were blown and that the system had likely been hastily thrown together by the dealership we bought the truck from. They also found that the stereo was locked out, which prevented access to the digital equalizer and tuning controls. Fortunately, they were able to fix that too. Chris and his guys are FANTASTIC!!! Took my mitsubishi 3000 GT SL in for new speakers, take my climate control oit to send for fix and new speakers. Sound is awesome, good prices and Chris has EXCEPTIONAL customer service skills and excellent knowledge of stereo equipment. Once done there was not one scratch or broken parts. THIS COMPANY IS SHADY! I had taken my vehicle to get diagnosed (due to speakers not working properly, no sound). I dropped off my vehicle and was received a call that the diagnosis was completed. Once I arrived I was told that all my speakers were blown due to poor/incorrect wiring. Then they told me it would be $1500 to replace all the speakers, subs and 2 amps I had in my vehicle. I refused this service as I was not looking for a new sound system. I then got home and took the door panels off the vehicle to inspect the speakers, I checked them with a multimeter and that proved the speakers were still in working condition. I then rewired the speakers and THE SPEAKERS WORKED PERFECTLY! So basically there entire diagnostic I paid them for was all false!!! THEY LIED! Who knows if they actually ever checked anything on my vehicle or not. But they were very pushy to replacing my entire sound system for their $1,500 set up, which I refused. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. read more

He explained to me why my subs kept blowing and recommended new ones that could hold what i was pushing through from my amp. Couple things. I'm very anti social and don't know how to really talk to people much. I originally took my mercedes in to another shop and told in order to do the job i would have to replace everything factory to after market due to fiber optic signal systems. I did not want to replace the head unit so i went to get a second opinion at another shop and was told by them that "we dont touch benzs for liability reasons" feeling disappointed and losing hope i made one last effort to call dynamite. Best choice i ever did the manager sako and owner chris explained to me in detail how the oem mercedes system functions and assured me that the job can be done just need the right product!! Most important was the line out interface which needed to have something called channel summing. I ended up purchasing audio control lc2i, 1 JL audio w6 sub JL audio mono amp, now this benz is alive!!! Sounds like a live concert in my car absolutely love it!!! I had to go several times to get my stereo hooked up right the people there had no idea what they were doing very smelled like cigarettes and marijuana I don't like the smell of marijuana in my car my kids but it still smells they kept up selling me all I wanted was a car radio I left with a TV monitor and 6 woofers I'm a mother with 3 children in a minivan I really don't like the booming noise and the doctor said it's bad for my kids but they said this is what's best for my car I feel totally ripped off it doesn't work now I have to go in every two weeks to get it fixed read more

Went to pick up an amp kit for an install and the guy there gave me everything I needed for a decent price. Knew what I needed etc. Ended up having a more difficult job than I expected having a brand new computerized cat took it in and they finished my install in about 40 mind and didn't charge me very much. The shop alone is very clean inside and they have a good selection of stuff. Looking forward to doing some more business with them remote start, mid and tweets are calling my name read more

I was looking for a shop (Blackstone and Bullard) to install some equipment that i had in a previous car, working on a budget so i had to do it in phases. First step was to install the amp and a single 12 inch sub woofer. I asked for the box to built to specs and to take as much space in the trunk as needed. They built the box and installed in in the car along with hooking up the amplifier. The sub woofer sounds great. About a week later I was having issues with my battery dying, while setting the garage over night. I noticed that the Amplifier was stating on while the car was turned off. I called the shop and explained the issue they said to bring it in, they fixed the issue right away. (I have to add that the wiring problem was not something that they did, the amp kit was installed by a friend). I had some rear deck lid rattling issues (from the BASS) I went in to the shop again and was talking speakers, I knew what I wanted and they gave me a quote, speaker and sound damping for the rear deck lid. I returned a few weeks later to purchase and have it installed, they honored the quote (Unexpected, very happy). Installed the same day. Looking forward to to adding the front speakers and head unit. Of course it is an easy decision for me to return to DYNAMITE CAR AUDIO. The shop was clean and organized read more
