I bought a Suburban with a fairly new KENWOOD stereo that had a number of issues. It had a bad hiss, the steering wheel controls didn't work and the echo from calls made when using CarPlay was so bad as to be unusable. Uriel fixed the hiss and steering wheel issue right away (incorrect install) and put in the research and extra effort to find the correct menu available only on a non CarPlay Bluetooth call to adjust the settings that eliminated the echo. read more

Took my car in to have an amp and 2 subs installed. They did a good job on that. I never received any kind of receipt for the work or the equipment. I paid cash so I'm sure that had something to do with it I've called and asked them a few times about it. A week or so later I brought it back to have all the speakers replaced and a 4 ch amp installed. Been a few weeks and it sounds like absolute shit. Once again never got any kind of receipt for the labor. Or for the previous job. I got in there and and holy crapulous line out converter was sitting on my gas pedal, the RCAS are ran next to battery wires and my line out converter was never configured. Gonna have to take to another shop to get this corrected and actually tuned. I know I should have not brought it back for the rest of the work. But the first install was clean with out any issues. Didn't think the second one would turn out like this. read more

My husband went to this spot and they didnt have his box done as promised. By the date they promised. Eventually they got it done. They did a good job. Husband was happy. HOWEVER, we sent our son their and they tried to rip him off. My son has a smaller speaker than his dad and they charged him nearly $100 more. Thankfully he got a refund with no problem. Just be careful with this shop. Won't be doing business there again. *update* son still hasn't gotten his refund. Got a voice record of an employee debating with my son about who's right or wrong on pricing. Bottom line is he hasnt gotten his money back. He was told "its not even a lot of money" almost $300. Would not recommend to anybody. I went by to have a door speaker replaced on my Jeep. I was told by the owner, I needed to make an appointment and bring it back by. At the appointment time I brought the car by, but they were not ready for it, so I waited 30 minutes for them to be ready. When they had pulled the speaker I was the owner informed that the replacement had to be ordered. He said he needed to fill out an order form. At that point another customer came into the shop. The owner stopped waiting on me and started waiting on the other customer. When I asked if I was finished he said no and had one his helpers wait on me. The helper gave me a blank look and asked for my name and phone #, then told me I had to wait for the owner to finish with the other customer. I just left at that point. read more

These guys were awesome! I called and they scheduled an appointment within the week for me. The touch screen on for my GPS/radio was unresponsive to touch. I put off fixing it for about a year because the dealership told me I needed to replace the entire unit. I came in looking to purchase some door speakers. The price on the speaker said $169.99. I told them I wanted them and they asked if I wanted them installed. I told them I was doing it myself and all of a sudden the price was $199.99. I told them no I wanted the price on the wall at the speaker and they said " ok $179.99" I walked out the door. If your getting the items installed you should be ok, but otherwise they will try and change the price on you. One other thing. Dropped into this place after having a stereo put in about a year ago in my 2011 CVO Street Glide. I spent a little over $5K from another shop. I was extremely disappointed with the sound it put out. I had originally took my car to a "hole in the wall" stereo shop to get some headrest monitors wired up. They broke the back panel of my front seat and ended up doing a "hack job" wiring the power wires through my fuse box. The Honda dealership said this was the cause of all my warning lights on my dash being triggered. Fearing that they would mess something else up I decided to try California Car Stereo as I have heard a lot of good things about them. Had a problem with it and they said it couldn't be a cable it had to be my head unit. The unit is a 2014. This place has awesome customer service, they really took care of us...We bought a Bluetooth unit and it stopped working after a while, so they replaced it and when It still did not work they ordered another part and replaced it again...When the same problem persisted, they just swapped out my older stereo with a new Sony stereo unit!..It came with all the bells and whistles like Bluetooth and they even set up my steering wheel buttons so they work!..Yes I had to go back a few times but they didnt give up and offered a way better solution in the end making me hella happy!..My whip hella bumps louder than before ha ha, thanks Paul!.. :D read more

My car alarm battery was acting weird, not working at times. Went in to either be rewired or to get a new one. The guy who helped me was really cool, answering all of my questions. He even taught me how to disable my alarm if it acted up again. I didn't want to risk it so I decided to buy a new remote. He didn't charge me to look at it just the new control. For the past year, I have attempted to have an after market car alarm (kill switch, actually) removed. I have taken the vehicle to a number of establishments and no one seemed to know anything about the switch, where the device is located in the car, or how to remove it. Fast forward to yesterday.
