I requested to talk to someone in escalations and the best they could do was to arrange for a rental at one of the airports and it would be premium prices due to the holiday. The vehicle was still pretty dirty and covered in scratches when I finally got it. The employee noticed I'd been waiting a long time and offered a $20 discount, which I appreciated--but 45 minutes for a rental pickup during my lunch break is ridiculous. I was told a few days ago over the phone that they would have cars in stock that were within that allotment. When I got there they only had cars in the $7 or more per day than what I was covered for and what I was told when I made the appointment. I feel so was being price gouged because I was at the enterprise next to Disney on a weekend, especially when I was told differently over the phone about being able to get a car within the price of what my insurance would cover.
