I was on time and they had no cars ready, and I waited an hour and a half, and then one person ahead of me and then one person behind me got their cars that they specified and then he upgraded me at my own cost an hour and a half later the second time I figured oh I'll wait because I went early. And wound up waiting an hour and a half for a car to be ready and it was the wrong car today. I didn't call them ahead of time to tell them I was running late. They normally apparently get most of their cars in at noon at all Save myself I waited until two and they said they called me with the number that wasn't the Enterprise Rent-A-Car number comes up as spam so I did not pick up because I was running errands that day and even with a confirmed reservation, they gave the car away so I reserve a car you should just for this location comes as early as possible, and I'll give you whatever car is available right there. You should not make a reservation or expect them to be consistent in anyway basically you just show up and you'll get whatever car is available. read more

He basically said, the case is closed and that it. When I asked him for his business card he said " oh it's right there" where does right there mean. Worst experience ever! From the moment me and my husband walked in we noticed the terrible customer service. To begin we were completely ignored during the first 10 minutes of us being there. There were three employees in the front just talking amongst each other and I am a patient person so I assumed they were busy so we waited. I finally had to interrupt their conversation to get some help. What really made my experience bad is that I really needed this rental and was denied it because the chip on my credit card was not working. I asked if there was any way to input the card info manually or if I could swipe or tap my card instead. The employee simply said no. I even asked if they had other Pin Pads I could try it on and again was told no. I explained to him how it was urgent for me to get this rental and if there was any way they could charge my card. I got absolutely no empathy and was simply told "no sorry it doesn't work" I tried everything, even asked to use my debit card and pay a much higher deposit but was again just told no. They obviously didn't want my business. I walked out of there feeling helpless but luckily passed by an Avis less than 5 min away and my husband decided to stop there. I told them what had just happened and even they couldn't believe it. The employee there saw my chip on my card didn't work but found another way to charge it. We were out of there in less than 15 min after having wasted an hour at Enterprise. My rental was even cheaper here and much lower deposit. I had found myself unexpectedly without a car and needing to rent a vehicle until further notice. The lady who assisted me over the phone with making a reservation (I can't recall the name) was helpful & understanding of my situation. When I arrived at the rental shop, Ryan was assisting another customer before me, and he was very patient & provided great customer service with myself and the two/three other individuals that were there. Ryan was very thorough with explaining the rental process & showing me the vehicle that I was going to be driving. Ryan had also assisted me over the phone when I called to extend my rental date, and he was there when I returned the vehicle. We drove the car for a day and had an issue with the windshield wiper blades, and the car was a little big for my girlfriend to drive. My girlfriend and I walk into to change the car out. I can remember when Enterprise Rental Car was the premier car rental, well they are lucky they are the company my insurance company uses because that is the only way they will get my business again. I rented a car about 2 weeks ago, the salesman told me 3 times no pets in the car, he didn't even ask 1st if I had pet but okay buddy got the picture. Out of habit I used the toll road, when I realized it I thought no problem I'll just go online and pay it. Nope, the web site says that I needed to make arrangements ahead of time with Enterprise. I was a little frustrated about that because that was never mentioned but I thought ok, I'll just settle up when I return my car. When returning the car I said oh, you'll need to deduct toll fees from my deposit. He let me know that was handled by another department and then says it's the toll fees plus a $3.99 fee. I was not happy but fine. Got the bill today, it was a $4.95 fee. Not a lot but still ridiculous.I guess that's why they don't mention the toll roads, so they can get an extra $5.00 out of you. I am sure they are making plenty of money because toll road services fees aren't that much each month. I wouldn't be this mad if they were just up front and honest from the start. Maybe next time guys you mention the pet thing one less time and use the time to talk about toll roads. I am sure the salesman gets his share of that fee and that's why they didn't mention it. read more

I made a reservation, showed up, they didn't have any cars and claimed I didn't make a reservation, but I have the email from them with the confirmation number, dates, times, locations, prices, everything. I called Customer service and they said they couldn't do anything to help because I didn't have a reservation. But I was looking at it in my hand on my phone. I can't believe this happened, ruining my whole trip / weekend and they couldn't do anything to make it right. How is this one of the biggest car rental companies?! In the heat of the SW disaster I called the 800 number and they placed me at this location for two passenger vans. When I called to confirm the female who answered was extremely rude. Stating Enterpise lies on the website and it is up to the individual offices to rent vehicles. 7 seater Vans were booked a year out. When I asked about other cars she said she dint have any and just hung up! Rude. Go to Avis on Long Beach Blvd ask for Stella or the Enterprise on Disneyland dr. I got my car back from the body shop today only to find out their were still issues. I called the repair shop and they quickly arranged ANOTHER rental with my insurance company. Enterprise was slammed when I walked in around 5:30pm. Side note they picked me up from the repair shop and quickly got us inside. They closed in 30min and we are approaching a 3 day weekend. I wish I could give 0 stars. This location is near my house, and despite terrible experiences, I keep going back. No MORE!! Last weekend was the final straw. Previously, I'd rent a specific car. After waiting an hour to get them (the mgr said b/c I came too late in the day and it's always busy), the car has never been what I wanted. I've gotten less gas efficient cars and it's ended up costing me more money for travel. So last weekend, I went at noon. I had called the 800 number the day before to ensure they'd have a car in my category. Yes they would. The office was empty. Good. The guy takes my info and says he has to make a phone call. I hear him talking about 'taking her and dropping off a SUV for a customer that needs it'. Little did I know he was talking about me! He said I'd be shuttled to their HQ to get a car b/c there were none there. It was 'a few miles away'. Turns out it's 20 min away. I asked if I could just take the SUV. He said no. It was for someone else. Because apparently 'someone else' was more important than me. Luckily I didn't have a flight to catch or I'd have missed it. No apology. No explanation. Just a 20 min ride to another city. Oh!! EVERY time, they've blamed the lack of cars on the regional managers. Say they regulate how many cars are at a location and it's never right. Seems to me you're a car rental place. Having cars to meet reservations on a Friday afternoon doesn't seem like such a stretch. But what do I know?? Just will not use them ever again. Second time I rented from this location. I was told I'd get a call when my car was ready. No call. So I arrive and they acted surprised i was there. Didnt have a car ready. Gave me a Nissan Altima. It was badly scratched, bumper damaged, wasnt washed or cleaned on the inside. I was in a bit of a hurry so I didnt have 20 min to sit and wait so they could wash it. I was charged $80 for a shit bottom of the line car that wasnt ready when I arrived. Uber would have been cheaper for what I needed it for. Never using this company again. I'm now a Hertz fan. I do not have any of my rental agreements, I needed the car for a day. As soon as it was turned in I deleted all the emails. I highly doubt youd look into it read more

The manager "Ramez" told me he was going to help me out and call me back in 10 minutes so I could get a rental but this lazy employee forgot. After calling back, he tries to pretend it never happened. Then he tries to ask for all my information that I had given him previously. I would have to question how they do business at this location. This was my first time ever renting a car and I was surprised how easy it was. They came to pick me up at my hotel and within minutes I had a car. Choosing which insurance to get require some thinking, and I didn't like that the insurance wasn't included in the price I was quoted. The service was expensive but now I have the peace of mind of having a car for a few days while I'm on vacation. The girl with glasses is disingenuously polite which comes off rude. The other girl who works hear is just incompetent. She is the once who doesn't inform of any charges going on your card. Overall it was a good experience. I did rent a vehicle that I enjoyed. Initially I received a vehicle and it looked good. However as I drove away and started to turn on the air conditioner it smelled of burnt marijuana. I had to turn around and return the vehicle and exchange it for another vehicle that did not have the burnt aroma. The front office upon learning this issue was very friendly and fixed the problem. Kevin, the worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my entire life. Reserved a car the morning of. Called and asked if it will be ready later the day. Kevin said yes. Came later the day and it wasn't available. I had no choice but to get another car. Except the only car, was dirty. I had a business trip the next morning so I had to take it. 2 days later returning the car I bring it back and Kevin rudely asks me if I smoke in the car and I replied yes. He said that is against the policy and it was not allowed and I will be charged a cleaning fee. The car had no where "no smoking" and my policy did Not indicate no smoking. Yet Kevin rudely and obnoxiously claims it's written in the policy and I told him prove it to me and show me where in my policy. Kevin refused to hand over my policy because at this point I felt that he was lying to me about the no smoking policy. But I refused to be deterred and pressed on. I finally pulled out my policy from my e-mail and guess what, no where does it include that I cannot smoke. He was dumbfounded. He became anger and embarrassed. And wasn't able to properly communicate anymore. He was caught red handed lying to me and he made a scene. Worst experience when renting a car in my entire life. No more enterprise for me for the rest of my life. I'll make sure none of my friends rent any cars from this franchise. My experience with this particular location of Enterprise has always left me wanting more. However, if you are looking for the cheapest prices, then I would still recommend this location for you. However, convenience and service are not why I've rented from this office. Why would Enterprise be inconvenient you ask? Don't they offer rides for their customers? Well, yes, they do. However, there is a limited radius and apparently, despite the fact that it is within 3-5 miles of their location, they have never picked me up from either work or home. Also, they will not negotiate pick-up times with you after your rental has been booked. On multiple occasions my ride to the office had a change of plans and needed to take me earlier or later and the response was: "your reservation is at XX:XX, therefore your car will be ready at the designated time. sorry for any inconvenience this may cause". Well it wouldn't be that bad if you could pick me up! More on the inconvenience, there is no after hours dropbox which has become a common thing at the other locations near me. So because there is no dropbox, I have to make plans to get picked up from their office again when I return the car because they don't offer me a ride to my office/home. Finally, the most frustrating thing... is they very rarely ever have a compact available. Even if you make reservations weeks in advance. I want the compact for the gas savings, not just because I'm cheap. I've become accustomed to the free upgrade which is okay in itself but what drives me nuts is this last time I asked to push up my reservation and they said, "your compact will not be available until your original reservation time". So, being under the impression that I was finally getting a gas-saver, I was okay with dealing with the scheduling issues that had come up. End of story: I still did not get the frickin' compact car. I mean c'mon! Don't tell me that I have to keep my reservation time for my car if the car won't be there! You track your car reservations, track whether or not one will actually be available and just give it to me straight. If I have to upgrade for free (notice the imperative :-P), then tell me and work with my schedule. Work with me here! It's your job! Oh yeah, and don't give me a car with a broken sun visor. As funny as it is to see your passenger smack their head on it, it doesn't make your office look good. Wondering why I still use this location? Because on my last trip, I saved over $120 over the location nearest to me on the exact same car. Sorry for the rant but to make this epically long story, short... if you're going to save big money come here. My grandpa rented a car from this location. They're a two employees that are shady. So the first time around one of the employees said he could not rent us a car bc we didn't want the insurance. I told them that's not possible, we already paid for the reservation and declined the insurance. Then said "ok" and continued...we then needed to extend the rental on a weekly basis. I called and the same Asian employee assured me our weekly rate was locked in...that wasn't the case. When we returned the car, they charged us for gas. I made sure the gas was the same as reflected on the rental agreement. I'm only rating 2 stars bc they have a girl employee who is excellent, apologized and reimbursed me the gas. I have heard about this before with this location but I gave them the benefit of the doubt anyway and also because it is what is covered under the insurance company of a person that crashed into my car. This location doesn't know what they are doing any try to charge your account with additional fees. The employee Natasha lied to the the insurance company. I am so dissatisfied. Its bad enough I've been in a car accident that I didn't cause but now I am having to deal with unnecessary issues just to get bills I shouldn't be responsible for taken care of. Also the car I was rented had the low oil light on the third day I had it and the tires were low on air, please make sure if you decide to rent from this location you are given a SAFE car that has been maintained properly. They are contracted with Gieco and because of that should be cheaper for gieco customer but its other way around. They charge almost $10 per day extra if you coming thru the insurance.
