Headed to the new Sterling Street Brewery location in Devens, MA for opening weekend. Same beers on tap & light sandwiches and snacks available. The selling point is the space! With warmer weather on the horizon this place will be great to sit outside, have a beer and listen to live music this summer. If outdoors is not your thing, there is limited bar seating but some larger tables inside, too. Well done, SSB!

Local brewery serving food and providing games for adults and children to enjoy. The service was great. On a Sunday afternoon it wasn't too busy - we leisurely enjoyed our beverages while the kiddo played Jenga. I liked the atmosphere here... clean, cozy, and comfortable without being too fancy/elegant like other breweries I've been to. Outside food is allowed- good to know for the future as there are really great restaurants closeby in Clinton.

Great local brewery in Clinton. Great ambiance and set up inside and outside. They have everything from trivia to live music to special events and food trucks and all sorts of pop ups. They always have a great selection of brews on and draft and in can. It gets busy so they may run out at times on a busy weekend. But there is always more to try. They clearly have a great passion for beer and making patrons enjoy themselves with their set up. They sell small pre cooked bites like pretzels, sandwiches etc. board games and a projector for a tv on the wall playing whatever local sport is on. Pretty neat. I've been three times time and love each visit. Keep up the great work.

Great place to grab a brew. Plenty of parking, nice indoor and outdoor seating, and the Triple Double IPA was delicious and didn't taste very hoppy at all. For a 10.3% IPA, I was surprised how crushable these are.

First time at the Devens location. Good selection of beer and seltzer. Easy location a short distance from Rt. 2 and the physical space is open and clean.

Great new addition to the area! Small but mighty variety of beers on tap and small food menu. Definitely recommend the tater kegs! They also have a nice outdoor area that's also dog friendly! They keep an active Facebook page as well.

Tucked away in the streets by the train tracks in Clinton is the Sterling Street Brewery. This is a great place to gather with your college friends to reminisce about the days gone by. It has that college bar feel, but with better beer of course. Our experience coincided with live music from Disco Lemonade, which added to the atmosphere. If Disco Lemonade happens to be playing where you are, you're in for a treat. This happenstance did make for a tougher parking situation and longer lines, but no one seemed to be bothered by it. We were able to grab a table outside to visit and chat. Inside provides room to dance for the concert-going crew or space to sit at some high tops and take in the whole scene. Beer is decent and I sipped on a Newfound Pale Ale. Food is offered inside, however I took advantage of the food truck situated outside, the Caribbean Press, because there was no line. I enjoyed a couple of sliders, the jerked chicken was spicy with some heat. Overall, our gang felt it was a nice place to meet up. For the area, it's a gem.

Literally everyone coming in had one or two kids with them. I never thought on a Friday evening there would be so many kids at a brewery! The beer was right up my alley. They had a tiramisu beer called coffeemisu and it was actually fantastic. Sadly I do not care to drink beer in a daycare setting. I raised my children already and never brought them to a bar or brewery until they were 21. It is bizarre to me that parents think this is normal and businesses who do not sell food allow it. There was a pizza truck outside, it was mid at best(not part of the brewery). $18 for a pie and nothing to write home about. The dead band was alright, we only stayed for 3 songs because of the atmosphere. Nobody asked me but I'm giving some "bar rescue" advice: You are not making money when children are taking up seats in your bar. Adults who want to drink were struggling to find seats and leaving while children were sitting at tables and running all around. This may be how you want to run your business but it makes no fiscal sense at all. Although I enjoy the beer I will not be back and I'm sure they won't care!

Thirsty robots needs robots!…read more It's Saturday and we head in about 30 minutes after they open. We are going to be at least 12 people. My daughters volleyball team is meeting up for lunch with their families before we head to a local tournament. Now- We go to breweries ALL the time. We haven't really faced this issue before but: they only had 2 people working and had 2 really small ovens. They cannot handle the demand of people or food orders. It took about an hour for us to receive a mac and cheese, a pizza, an order of pierogi's and a quesadilla. My husbands food never hit the table (a chicken, bacon, ranch wrap.) Other families who ordered right after us- it took an hour and 20 minutes to get the food. Pizza- My family said it was ok Pierogi's- (potato & cheese) was there any cheese in it? A lot of potato (pro tip: ask for some liquid cheese served with the pretzels for dipping!) Mac & Cheese- they put nutmeg in it. my opinion: nutmeg doesn't belong in mac & cheese. quesadilla- (cheese) HUGE portion! extra crispy cheese on the edges. I like this style! Then... the line! This is the food ordering, beer ordering and bill pay line. My husband was in line for over 15 minutes to pay the bill. I actually don't even know exactly how long because I had to leave him there to pay while I got the kids to the tournament! It's got a decent location, good size, cool little outdoor area, cool art on the walls and their food was decent but they just can't handle a crowd. Underprepared.

Macari first worked for toy manufacturer Hasbro before launching a custom cabinetry business with another former Hasbro colleague. Today he is involved in multiple businesses. For a new venture, Macari decided to open his own brewery with Neveu, another former Hasbro employee. The partners acquired and completely renovated the circa 1872 Berkeley Mill boiler room building to house the brewery. They named it "Phantom Farms" after the Macari family's local apple orchard and bakery just down the road. Oscar Garrido and Andrea Riera, a husband-and-wife team from Chile, were hired as the head brewers. Since opening, Phantom Farms has become known for its farm-to-pint operation, its close connection to its namesake orchard, a historic taproom, and award-winning lagers. I recently visited Phantom Farms Brewing while I was in town for the day. I was scheduled to meet up with some other beer bloggers. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the restored historic building was. There was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs, indoors and outdoors, and the brewery is also family-friendly. After exploring all of the various rooms, I looked over the draught menu. There was an eclectic mix of beer styles as well as hard cider crafted with apples from the Phantom Farms Orchard. Between mingling with the other bloggers and playing some games of Biñho, I enjoyed pours of "Half Dark" (Czech Amber Lager), "Elegant Viking" (New England IPA), "Alternate Continuum" (Barrel-Aged Saison), and "Hypernova" (Barleywine). I was very impressed with everything that I tried, especially the last two. Between an excellent roster of beers, a beautiful historic space, and some excellent company, I had a really enjoyable experience at Phantom Farms and I highly recommend them to any craft beer aficionados who are visiting the area!
