I went Tackle Box Brewing to see the band Diamond Blues. What a great venue! Amazing stage setup and sound system. The bonus of the evening was discovering Tackle Box's Ripped Lip Jalapeño IPA. It's so good! Crisp and clean, finishes with a nice bite thanks to the jalapeño. I'm hooked (pun intended)! It's a nice big space with plenty to keep you entertained. In addition to the live music, there are pool tables, darts, pinball machines, etc. I made the one hour trip there from Walpole specifically to see Diamond Blues but I will return to Tackle Box for the great atmosphere and tasty beer! read more

The IPA's that we drank last year were different this year in recipe. Sour back taste on each, I couldn't tell if it was beer lines or wheat. Menu stated $8 per pint, charge posted for $9 each. Dark, cavernous and people there felt that it was appropriate to stand at the door and shout to the bar area to have a conversation. Felt dingy. Good thing that we brought our own food. Otherwise, there is nothing to cheer about. We were disappointed because our visit last year was something to cheer about to our friends. Dead plants in the window add to the ambiance. read more

On a night of brew hopping, we stopped in here. Very large indoor seating, with a small bar, large bandstand and game room. Food is takeout only, except for a few pickies. I had the flight and every beer was solid and tasty. Wife absolutely loved their pumpkin beer and stuck with it. Bartender was super nice and patient. I liked the brewery as a whole. I went to listen to a band on a Saturday night and was horrified at the number of young kids running around the place. They were taking over all if the ping pong, pool, corn hole games in the place. Parents actually had birthday parties for their kids there. Unless this changes I won't be back no matter. They need to get a hold of those friggin kids, not what I want on my night out- get a babysitter read more

Excellent space, GREAT band (Sonic Union), awesome beers. I would have spent more time there if they had even some Pub Food, but instead went across the parking lot to Chill for an excellent dinner. Staff was fast and very friendly. Didn't have the issue some people have reported about little kids running around; stated policy is no kids after 7pm. read more

Tackle Box offers a lot of entertainment, air hockey, pool tables, ping pong tables, karaoke night. Soft pretzels are excellent. The beer and Seltzer's are 1st class. Staff was excellent the day I went. 5 stars if you had more than a handful of lager or Pilsner beers. This is a place to check out, watch the game, and drink adult beverages! read more

Commuted from CT for a birthday at this brewery. Upon arrival there was a baby shower happening at the same time making the ambiance very hectic and stressful due to children running all over the place and then coming to our pool table (which pool tables were closely placed making it hard to play) and dropping balls into the pockets on the game my party was using. Not your typical brewery vibe. Very big, open and a lot of unused area at least at the time I had visited. There is a side of the brewery that had an odd tile floor with lots of corn hole, some darts and a table shuffle board. Tried to play corn hole but children were running in-front of the the boards making it hard to toss bags with out hitting children. They appear to have a lot of events that go on weekly which is good for people in the area. staff was excellent however. Very kind and tentative but my over all experience + ambiance, I would not return again. read more

Very happy we found Tackle Box. We used to take kids to location when it was an arcade, and they have all that space to work with, which is great. Plenty of room to stretch out and a whole section devoted to games like darts, corn hole and giant Jenga. The beers and seltzers were all top notch. The stout was impressive. Truthfully very unimpressive in every way. Beer was not enjoyable, and the brewery itself is an old laser tag facility. Tacky decorations, not very good beer, and sort of an early 90s dated vibe. This place has become transformed! It used to be a store with home brew kits, now it's a cute brewery alongside Strange Brew (in the same building). There was a live musician who was incredible! Wow!!! I went into this store when it was just selling brewery "equipment" and it was piles of boxes and shelves everywhere...what a transformation. Beautiful inside, large and bright and another brewery also (Strange Brewery). Blueberry beer was delicious, they had a singer who was phenomenal. Pool tables, corn hole, large bar. This place is the best!!! Every beer on the menu is great, I especially liked the Colorado, the blueberry and the Kracken. The seltzer's are real good too, and I'm usually not a fan but I would order one again. The owners are really nice as well and make you feel welcome. one of the owners even took us behind the scenes of the tanks and the brewing process. My wife and I were the first people to ever sit at he bar and you could see how excited the owners were. They also have a bunch of games that you can play while having a great drink. The decor is fun but I'm bias being a fisherman. Can't wait to go back. read more
