She was too cute not to post with her Chewbaru!

We've been looking for a place that isn't charging an arm and leg over sticker or even at all. No one around us was offering that. So I decided to expand my looking area. We found Sterling Subaru and noticed they had what we were looking for. Outback Touring XT I was hesitate as it's 2 hrs away... What if they were just pulling our leg, or lying or even the vibe being off. (Yes I will not buy a vehicle if there's not a good vibe or if something is just "off") Well I contacted Sterling. Was put in contact with Mr. Conner. I told him what I was interested in. He told me it was in transit and would be here on or around the 19th. (Which was about 10days or so) He had kept in great contact with me...I'm sure I annoyed him with all my questions every so often. But he was a trooper and helped me with everything. The 18th comes around and I get a phone call saying surprise it came in today! Woooo was I excited. Told him I will make it up the following day. (Today) Met Conner and he was just as nice in person as he was over the phone. We did everything we needed to with Conner. He then took us over to meet Mr. Jason for all the financial things. Jason was also so super nice. He answered ever question we had. Got us all ready to go and took us back to Conner which then took us to meet Mr. Matthew also super nice, helped up set up our Starlink and answered all of our questions like a trooper as well. He took us out to the car to explain all the fanciness in there as we didn't know how to use it all. He also gave my dog the cutest Subaru squeak toy...the "Chewbaru" let me tell you she didn't mind that we were away for a while today because she has this toy and has been carrying it around since we've been home. I'm so happy to have found Sterling even though we had to make a 2 hour drive...it was totally worth it and I'd for sure make it again! It was nice to go somewhere and be cared for instead of treating us one way until they get our money then it's ok your done, leave. It wasn't like that at all! They helped us even after the deal was done. They took their time to show us how everything worked and made sure we didn't have any questions about anything before we left. No one really likes car shopping, especially when everything is pushed on you and they make it hectic or try to hide fees and things. Let me tell you, I enjoyed it actually! Everyone is so nice there. Made you feel welcomed and at home. If I had to sum up all of this I'd just say GO TO STERLING AUTO GROUP! Even if you have to drive 2hrs one way!!!!! They are totally worth it. Thank you again for everything Mr. Conner, Mr. Jason and Mr. Matthew!

Car repairs are usually a stressful, exhausting experience filled with lots of anxiety, but this team completely changed my perspective. From the moment I walked in, Lucas was incredibly straightforward and knowledgeable. He listened to exactly what my concern was and fixed my truck, respected my budget, and didn't try to push any unnecessary recommendations but did let me know what I need to do for my 60k service. The price I was given up front was exactly what was on the final invoice, no added fluff, no extra anything when cashing out with the cashier Ashley. Even after the service, they followed up to make sure I was completely happy with my service on my F-150.. We called our salesperson, Jennifer and told her we would be in to pick up the car the following Monday. She assured us that the car would be detailed and ready for pick up. When we arrived we realized that the car had not been cleaned, the same Krud that was in it the week before was still there. The carpets were damp but someone must have forgotten to clean them because the dirt was still there and it had not been vacumned. We insisted that it go back to the detailing shop. It was returned to us looking a lot better. When we arrived home and lowered the third row seats we discovered they had not replaced the carpeting that covers the hardward when the seats were lowered. It was there when we frist drove the car. We sent an email to our salesperson who did not respond. After waiting a day we finally called the General Manager who assured us that the carpeting would be put in the mail to us. We live in Montgomery which is over an hour away. We have yet to hear from our salesperson after placing two calls into her. Our concern is.....if that is the way Lithia operates I would not want to take my car there for service. I'd be fearful of the kind of work that would be done. Ann Horton

After owning my previous…read morecar for over twelve years, I was genuinely looking forward to this experience and expected to drive off the lot in a new vehicle. Instead, I left crying and completely broken. This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything. The main issue was my interaction with Steven, the Finance Director. He was rude, condescending, and dismissive from the beginning. I qualified for a first responder discount, yet he refused to honor it. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he initially refused and stated that he was the boss and that his only boss was his wife. After continued insistence, he eventually agreed to bring over his manager, but not before telling us that we could "just go" and that we were not getting a car from them with a smirk on his face and that there's several other dealerships around. At that point, the damage was already done. The manager did apologize for Steven's behavior and attempted to smooth things over, but the experience had already left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. No customer, especially one ready to make a purchase, should ever be treated this way. Steven should not be interacting with customers at all. Because of this experience, I will never return to Aggieland Chevrolet and will not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Upon return and haggling for me to use their finance companies (and to see if my bank was one of their. (Yeah, no!) I was approved already and knew what I needed. I was firm. My first offer was $19k (exactly what I saw online). After he saw what I was approved for, the price went up. Dishonor! Again, my bank was on the phone. We agreed to walk away. I never seen a Trax worth $30k. Especially not that one. It didn't have a lot of bells and whistles. So, nope. Always have multiple offers from several dealerships. Use your bank to get approved. Matthew was stunned to watch us leave his "great deal". By the way, I found 5 other dealerships in Texas that aren't afraid of me using my bank and they never increased their prices. Aggieland Chevy, please do better. Honest and integrity... that goes a long way. Try it.

I had my car towed to the dealership because a low oil pressure warning light came on. The car was running perfectly fine--no engine noise, no rough idle, and no signs of major engine damage. About a day later, I was told the car needed a completely new engine. I was also told that Honda's factory warranty would not cover the repair because of an alleged "over-rev" condition. However, they could not provide any date or time showing when that supposedly occurred or prove it happened while I owned the vehicle. The car was purchased used but is still covered under Honda's factory warranty. What surprised me most was that, from what I was told, no meaningful diagnostics were performed beyond scanning the vehicle for codes. Despite that, they were confident enough to deny the warranty, quote me over $11,000 for a new engine, and charge me $165 for a diagnostic fee. I had the car towed back home, replaced the oil pressure sensor, changed the oil, and the low oil pressure warning disappeared. The car continues to run normally. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Allen Honda in College Station. If you're told your vehicle needs a major repair, especially one that isn't covered under warranty, I strongly encourage you to get a second opinion and stay away from this dealership.

They kept my car from that appointment until April 23rd, trying to fix the AC. When I got it back, the issue still wasn't fixed.
