I don't even know where to start........ bought a new car here 2022 VW Tiguan have brought it here for required oil changes and service as needed, but when had car problems back up alert didn't work and hit gooseneck trailer, I was told that it doesn't alert if the object isn't moving (not true), but that's what i was told so that they didn't have to pay for the damage to my car for faulty backup alert system and camera. engine had to be replaced after multiple times of bringing my car to them for repair because of check engine light coming on for air filter pressure (something like that), no call backs or information I had to constantly call to check the status of my vehicle. I filed a lemon law claim, but VW didn't agree and just replaced the engine. There's so much more I could say, but I won't. read more

I took our Keep to service across bypass and as soon as dropped off my Beetle started making all kinds of noise.... So I went across to Douglass VW and do clean, professional ... they sent a video with what was causing problem and a breakdown of cost! This is first a dealership has ever been so honest and great customer service! Oh my goodness! If you value your time, under no circumstances should you take your car here. I am fortunate to have a warranty covering my car, so when my headlight went out I wasn't worried about finances. I dropped my car off on a saturday, and 6 days later I hadn't heard a word about an update. When I called, I was told by Chris that he couldn't find my warranty number to order the part. I supplied him with it (although that part is their responsibility) and they didn't start repairs until 4 days thereafter. Again, I never received a call from Chris or anyone else, any updates provided were because I called and asked for an update. 13 days later, I called at 2pm and was told I "should be able to pick up my car at 5 if all goes well." I never knew it took nearly 2 weeks for "service professionals" to change a headlight. You're better off going to a mom-and-pop shop for repairs, this dealership offers subpar service and has no issue leaving customers without their cars for 13 days. I can't even imagine if it had been a real issue, if my transmission went out i'd expect this company to take 2 months, and that's being kind. read more

Went online to schedule service for my Bug. Had to wait 2 weeks for service which was fine. Showed up 3 days before the appoint time to verify they had received the request and the parts I had ordered had arrived. Service manager said he received everything and we were ready to go. Showed up 3 days later to drop the car off and they looked at me like I was crazy. Said they didn't have me in the system for service. Service was simple, Door regulator, Radio code, and door panel. 7 days later they still hadn't look at the car. I called and their excuse was the service advisor was out for training. Really! This dealership has awful customer service. Stay away, drive your car to Houston and get it serviced. read more

I can't describe the disappointment and frustration. This dealership sold me the wrong battery for my car twice and was still having problems starting my car. I finally went to O'rielly and bought the correct battery for a fraction of the cost and now, guess what, NO MORE CAR PROBLEMS. I would not take your business here. I can't say enough good things about Douglass Volkswagen. My daughter's VW Passat broke down on side of the highway on way back to college on a Friday. Had it towed to Douglass VW. They were expecting her and the tow truck when they got there Friday evening. Car was fixed and ready to be picked up by noon Monday. I had a deal on a used VW bug with a set price and it was late on a Friday evening. I asked if they were open on Saturday or if we needed to wait until Monday to take care of the paperwork. The manager indicated it could be done on Saturday. I asked when they were open and he said until 6:00 pm. I told him that my wife and I would be in the next day to take care of the paperwork. My wife got a call in the morning that someone else was test driving the vehicle and might purchase it. She indicated we still wanted to purchase the vehicle and would be in after lunch to do the paperwork. She got a text that they sold the vehicle to the other purchaser after we had agreed on a deal and a day/time to do the paperwork. This HIGHLY unprofessional. Apparently a word or handshake deal means nothing to them. I would be very skeptical of anything not in writing with them. read more

I brought my car in because my engine light was on. They told me it could take anywhere from 48-72 hours to get it looked at because they were backed up. Within 48 hours they called to let me know they had the parts in stock and it was ready to go! Super reliable and great communication in the service department. read more

I absolutely loved the customer service at this dealership which led me to do business with them when I decided to purchase another vehicle. I purchased a pre-owned Mercedes Benz, put a large payment down.. the whole process went so smooth..The only thing I was concerned about was the tires, which at the time of purchase I was told that new tires were put on the vehicle. I trusted my salesmen and his word. I then came back to get my car serviced for an oil change, the report came back that the 2 back tires on my vehicle will require attention soon(changed). I expressed my concerns and frustration due to the fact I was told the tires were new on my vehicle. My salesman(Ken) was nice and acknowledged everything that was said at the day I purchased my car. Got a phone call from him today and instead of holding up to their word about my tires being new and warranting their word. He called me and basically said they weren't going to. I've learned my lesson with believing what a salesman and dealership says. They have lost my business and I will not refer anyone to them due to their word not being valid and lying to me at the point of sale. read more
