Checked my sugar and it was high I let her know just came from Wendy's and had frosty. She said sugar was causing vertigo. I told her it was happening most in morning. What about all the other symptoms. She said no sign of infection so no antibiotics. I was shocked. I let her know I have not taken antibiotics in five years and I never go to doctor unless sick. Still no antibiotics told to go see my regular doctor. Left got text next day asking for another 100+. Went to look at Bill and you have to agree to all these terms to look at it. Called patient advocacy and left mess. No word yet. Bottom line run. Just talked to billing now they say total bill is 354. 12 for sugar test (reasonable). 342 for visit. Asked how much there cheapest visit was they couldn't tell me. Asked if all visits start at 342, couldn't tell me. Who do these people think they are. 1/2 a weeks pay to look at throat and say go away.

His foot was bleeding profusely when we went in and the foot was wrapped in a towel. He is elderly and had a hip replacement 2 wks ago. Also is a diabetic and a bleeder. At the desk, they were more concerned with checking to make sure we could pay rather than check the bleed. They went through detailed information, asking if he still took some meds, several of which he had taken only 1 time 20 yrs back. I understand the need to check records but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know the most important thing is to stop the bleed. There were at least 5 people working and only 1 patient. Although we were grateful for Samantha's cleaning and bandaging, overall we didnt feel totally confident of the judgement of the heavily tattooed staff.

The ER receptionist immediately checked me in and within ten minutes I was in a room surrounding by an attentive staff of nurses, technicians, and a physician's assistant by the name of Ryan Wilson, whose demeanor instantly calmed me (I was clearly having a panic attack!). I could not have been treated any better. The wound was stitched up (fortunately was not as bad as the Urgent Care doctor implied it was) and I was on my way within an hour. There was very little wait time, everybody was friendly and helpful. The whole medical team did an excellent job, they made her feel really safe and helped her with her nerves. They did a great job of figuring out what was wrong, telling us what we needed to do. Really appreciated the service that we received and appreciated that there was not a long wait time for triage or to be seen by a provider.

Even though I was unable to get treated their kindness and and concern for me made me feel very taken care of. They also referred us to a urgent care that was able to get me in almost immediately. I highly recommend this urgent care purely due to their kind staff, BUT get into the queue online prior to going in! I wish we had known about this.
