I am really disappointed with my results. I paid thousands of dollars to get Invisalign and it did not fix my teeth. They were not bad before, I had braces as a kid but they shifted a little as a stopped wearing my retainer. I just had a small overbite. After all that money was put into Invisalign, I have an uneven bite and an overbite.... I contacted Dr. Koprivnik and he wants me to pay more money to fix it...... It is dishonest to sell someone Invisalign, fully knowing they expect it to fix their teeth, and then tell me I need to pay more to do so. The lady at the front desk has always been so nice! She made it a pleasure to visit. However, I am very disappointed with the way Dr. Koprivnik handled the situation. My teeth are not what I expected, I should be given at least a partial refund so I can fix them elsewhere... read more

I've had a long and storied career of dental mishaps, not a proud history, but one that has required some creative care over the years. Knocked out teeth, busted braces, and impacted wisdom teeth...I digress. So, needless to say, I've had my fair share of experiences with dentists. Dr. Koprivnik is by far one of the nicest I've had. He's straightforward, but not condescending. A gentle guy, does really great work, and you can tell he's a family guy. I've had dentists that have completely lost touch with why they went into the medical profession, but Dr. Koprivnik hasn't. I've rarely felt inclined to recommend a medical professional to anyone, but his office is really one of a kind. I've been going to Dr. Koprivnik for a couple years now and I'm so happy I chose him as my dentist. I used to work for an oral surgeon in Austin and we had a lot of referrals from Dr. Koprivnik for wisdom teeth removal, and a variety of other things. One common thing I saw with all those patient referrals was that they LOVED their dentist - who says that? At the time I was going to another dentist and considering having Lumineers put on my front teeth to improve my smile. I thought since so many patients were saying the same thing I should give him a try...I did...and I'm still there! I had my Lumineers done in the spring of 2009 and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Koprivnik really is an amazing dentist. It was completely painless and I was back to work that afternoon!! His staff is great also. They are always available to answer any questions I have and they are so friendly!! Anytime I call I feel like I'm talking to an old friend, they really know how to give patient's quality care. I recently started working remotely from Austin. Normally, I am work during the week in San Francisco where I have had the same dentist for the past 11 years. Given the circumstances, I needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Koprivnik and his team were recommended to me by a friend. I was nervous starting with a new dentist but my anxiety quickly disappeared. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The office was immaculate and processes/protocols reflected incredible care and thoughtfulness to the well-being of their patients. He's in a great location at 6th & Mopac which offers free parking (good for the area). The staff is always nice and comforting, and they do great work. Prior to seeing Dr. K I had not seen a dentist in over 10 years. This was a result of severe dental anxiety that I have due to childhood experiences. Free parking, comfortable waiting room, friendly staff. I was a fan before I even met Dr. Koprivnik. My dental hygienist was incredibly thorough and took extra care and time to clean up my tea-stained teeth without berating me for being overdue for a cleaning. Since Dr. Koprivnik labels his practice as "General and Cosmetic" dentistry, I was a little wary that there was going to be a sales pitch for whitening, straightening, or otherwise enhancing my smile. But there was absolutely no pressure put on me, and this was one of the first times I had a dentist who didn't try to upsell me. Great for general dentistry, and if I were ever to consider a cosmetic product or procedure, I'd likely do it here, as well. read more

Being new to Austin, I took a chance looking up dentists near my residence for convenience and I got so lucky! Dr. Koprivnik and his staff are great! So nice and always remember me. Appointments are easy and convenient. They have early appointment availability which allows me to get in and out and back to work no hassle. Their appointment reminders are very helpful because life gets hectic and its easy to forget when you pre-book. I had a dentist once tell me something about my smile that gave me a complex and I got it in my head I wanted to completely change my smile. This would have been a chance for Dr. Koprivnik to agree and get additional business but instead he was honest and told me he didn't think it would be a good solution and instead gave me other less invasive, less expensive options to improve my smile. In my opinion he is rather anal. Doesn't like any suggestion of criticism. Because he has the experience, I think he should present options for the best long term solutions, not leave it up to the patient.Because should a problem arise where he needs to replace a veneer that broke, possibly because less money was involved, the color on the front are tooth didn't match. Choosing a medical caregiver can be a harrowing experience and picking the right dentist is no different. You wonder if you're going with just the right one and it's not until after your procedure or a few appointments that you realize whether the choice you made is correct or not...often times it's not. I am here to say that you could not find another dentist as knowledgable, caring, and sensitive to your needs as Dr. Koprivinik. His chair-side manner is the best and you'll feel as comfortable as you could possibly be even through the more invasive procedures. And if you're worried about pain, he prepares you the best I've ever experience beforehand so you are as pain-free as possible. Amazingly so. I have had several procedures done with Dr. Koprivnik from teeth cleanings to root canals, to most recently Invisilign and I have been very happy with him. There is something to say about going to a dentist you can trust and feel comfortable with and Dr. Koprivnik is that doctor. read more

I go every 6 months and it is truly pleasant. They are in network with my insurance, but I would continue to go even if it wasn't. I went to Dr. Koprivnik for several years. He convinced me that I had to have my eight veneers re-done. I had no problems with the old veneers, but since he replaced them, they have fallen off fifteen (15) times. This has caused much humiliation and inconvenience. Nothing like being at a nice party and have your front tooth fall off. Needless to say, I have changed dentists. When I contacted Dr. Koprivnik regarding refunding the money for these veneers, he never responded. read more
