After going there for 10 years for mostly regular cleanings, my daughter's cheek became swollen one day, so I called and asked for an appointment. They told me she was just teething so no need to come in since she was recently seen. After several phone calls over the course of 2 weeks when the swelling didn't go away, they told me to give her Tylenol but still didn't want to see her in person. Very frustrating. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and my daughter was given antibiotics and an appointment for an urgent extraction. It turned out my daughter had a cavity on a tooth that they missed. I called to let them know what happened to my daughter. No apologies or concern. Nothing. Why would our dentist of 10 years put his ego over his patient? Stay away from this dentist. He doesn't care about his patients. Response 1/6: I'm 100% sure this is the right office and you're exactly the dentist that I'm talking about. We left your office a few years ago, but we were with you for 10+ years. I can name the names of the ladies that work at the front desk in your office, and I know your exact location. We will never forget how we were negatively treated as your patients and how you let your ego get in the way when you declined to see our daughter about the swelling in her cheek. You were so sure that it was her adult tooth coming in when in fact it was a cavity. We are a family and you were our dentist for 10+ years. The best. Dr. Longoria uses up to date equipment and techniques. He tries to conserve as much natural dentition as possible and has never tried to upsell me. He stands behind his work and if any minor changes need to be made as fillings or crowns settle in over time it has never been an issue. They run a smooth operation. On your first visit you're assigned a Dental hygienist. You see the same one each time for continuity of care. Erin and Kim are knowledgeable about coverage and billing. They coordinate to manage your dental health and planned work long term so as not to overbill your insurance. The office is clean and well kept. I usually never write reviews, but this experience really hurt me. I've seen Dr. Longoria only once, and I thought he was nice and patient with my questions. However, I was not ready for the treatment he suggested at the time. I called in a couple of weeks ago, ready for the treatment he had suggested, and the front desk told me that Dr. Longoria had said it's a waste of his time seeing me, and the front desk refused to hear me out, continuously hanging up the phone on me abruptly when I kept calling back multiple times in a row, seeking an explanation. I understand they are working for the doctor, so the team probably doesn't care about your pain or your problems (even though a good team would care). If you are not ready for a treatment or you decide to do it later, Dr. Longoria's front desk will probably tell you, "Don't come again, go find another office," like they told me. read more

I recently had a crown replaced and got to see another thing that makes Dr. Longoria so much better than other dentists. He has the latest in hi-tech equipment (CEREC) that creates a custom permanent crown in one visit. Not only was it fast, but it fit like a glove right off the bat. No adjusting, shaping, grinding, repeatedly biting on blue paper, no temporary crown...and best of all no second visit! The Doctor and the entire staff is super nice and very professional. Dr. Longoria's office is equipped with the most advanced high-tech equipment, and more importantly filled with professional and wonderful staffer members. On the morning of Christmas Day of 2014, my husband and three children went on a biking adventure. Unfortunately, my oldest son had an accident and one of his upper front teeth was completely knocked out. When my second son called me and told me what happened, I was in panic and helpless. I did not know what to do or whom to call because it was on Christmas Day and everyone is on vacation. In my despair, I called Dr. Longoria without any hope to reach him. When I heard Dr. Longoria's voice, I couldn't believe my ears. After I briefly told Dr. Longoria what happened, he told me to bring my son to his office as soon as possible. This was my first visit to this office. The staff are terrific, very friendly as well as helpful. I had a toothache and was very pleased at the way it was handled. They took me in immediately. Instead of diving into a root canal, the doctor tried to readjust my teeth to see if the pain was from a tooth loose at the base. Of course, they took xrays first. I am new to California and don't normally write reviews; but I am really impressed with Dr. Longoria's dental practice. He and his staff are caring, friendly, very knowledgeable, and have the latest equipment. I had been putting off a needed crown for several years having had a couple rough experiences. Then I visited Dr. Longoria's office where he described a procedure that didn't require a sticky mold, or a two week temporary while the crown was fashioned in a lab. All he needed for a precision crown was me and a 2 hour appointment. His price quote was reasonable and included a senior discount. Later that day, I made the appointment with confidence. The crown installation went smoothly. Dr. Longoria prepped and mapped my cracked tooth using a camera and software to design a perfectly fitted crown. The appointment took less than 2 hours, and most of the time was waiting for the 3D machine to finish the crown. I could tell it was a perfect fit right away.
