I should have believed the other reviews. If everything…read moregoes right, expect your new hot tub to be delayed by days/weeks after the promised delivery date. I was told my hot tub was "on the truck" from the factory and would be delivered within two to three weeks, with an anticipated October delivery date. Late December, after I called to cancel my order because it had still not been delivered, it was located and delivered shortly thereafter. If anything goes wrong, buckle-up. My hot tub was delivered with a leak and broken LED lights. 18 months later, with no fewer than 10 trips to my house, each trip declared "fixed!", the hot tub still leaked and several LED lights remained broken. Is it too much to ask Premium Spas to fix a leaking tub with burned-out lights? Yes, it's too much to ask. The warranty crew at Premium Spas, led by Troy, who will proudly tell you he's got 20 years of hot-tub experience, is arrogantly incompetent. The longer the unfixed leaking issue continued, the more aggravated Troy (and Charlie, the owner, and Patti, Charlie's girlfriend who answers the phones) became with me. Why wouldn't I just deal with my leaking hot tub and leave them alone? After Troy was unable to fix the tub, he told Jacuzzi it couldn't be fixed (because he couldn't fix it) and they sent a replacement tub. I was charged an additional $750 because the replacement tub (same exact model) had increased in price. My choice was to keep a leaky tub or be charged another $750 for a replacement tub. Then Premium Spas fought with me over the electrical hookup over the replacement tub, in the exact same location of the original tub, needed "a few inches" of additional electrical wire to be reconnected. Earlier today, Charlie (the owner), told me he no longer "gives a f*ck."

Not only was he able to do that, his sons brought the exact color and tub I wanted 3 days after my purchase! It is easy to recognize that this is a family run business who cares about their customers! Greg made time to answer every question personally- I never waited on hold in a queue or was asked to press O to speak to an operator, I only spoke to Greg who is running his business well from start to finish! I'm beyond grateful that my relationship with Outdoor Leisure didn't stop at a mile marker on 95. If you are looking for a hot tub, call Greg, his vast knowledge of the quality products he has hand selected and his fantastic customer service will make you a customer for life. Thank you Greg!

Greg was supportive of zoom/FaceTime calls to get us in the right path. Customer satisfaction at its best. We were still unsure of the whole chemicals etc and that is where Drew came to our rescue/education. We came into the store in a Saturday morning and he gave a class on chemical balancing that even I could understand. We are 4 months into owning our tub and it has been the best purchase we have made. If you are thinking about getting a hot tub go see these guys. Do Not Pick this store if you want good customer service! We…read moreoriginally decided to purchase our endless pool/spa from the Clarksburg Capital Hot Tub Store over 4 years ago after speaking with the manager and owner. They had very good customer service reviews and were very helpful in helping us purchase our pool during the COVID outbreak. They continued to provide good customer service for the next few years but recently the customer service has been terrible. This February I called and left a message about cracks in the end panels of my endless pool. We ended up playing phone tag so I stopped by the store. The representative said they would place the order and that it would take a couple of months to arrive. I had been calling, emailing and stopping by the store periodically from February to July asking about the panels. There was constant confusion, and staff kept citing high turnover as the reason for delays in receiving the panels and for problems locating them in the warehouse. In the beginning of July I emailed and called again. A few days later, I finally got a call saying they could set up an appointment because the panels were in. I didn't doubt that all the panels are in because I was told numerous times that they would not set up an appointment until all the panels were in. Imagine my surprise and anger when the technician came out this week to replace my endless pool/spa panels but only brought one panel with him. (For the most part the technicians have been great and they are the only reason I'm giving 2 stars). The technician, Jay checked the order and said he only saw one panel on order and one panel reserved and that they were the same panel. He didn't see any other panels ordered. Jay apologized and said he would try to order the remaining panels tonight or tomorrow morning. He also said he would talk to Jeff the manager about how mixed up my orders have been and have him contact me. Later that evening Jay texted me to tell me he ordered the additional panels because he didn't see the other panels on order or in their system. I'm confused as to why it was so hard for the service staff to order the proper number of panels but Jeff could do it that evening? If they were only going to replace one panel at a time we could have done this a long time ago. The next day, there was no call from Jeff the manager. So I called and left a message for Jeff. I also emailed the service staff I had been working with and left a message on the website. Still no message from anyone. I called and spoke to Lamar. He said Jay ordered the panels, apologized for the confusion and would have the district manager contact me. This was a few days ago and still no contact from any management. I left another message this afternoon asking for management to contact me. Still nothing. Why is it so hard to receive email responses when I send an email to individuals and the company website? I understand there has been turnover but this is ridiculous! You should not have to go to the store to get responses. I have left numerous messages via email, voicemail, and the website for numerous individuals this week and have yet to receive a response. We purchased from this store based on the reviews, but obviously, the service has seriously deteriorated. So if you are thinking you are going to get that great customer service indicated by old reviews think again!

Glad to have finally made this purchase back at the end of 2020 - the hot tub is so therapeutic and relaxing. I especially enjoy it on frigid nights during winter when the sky is clear and I can star gaze for as long as I want. :) Everyone at Capital Hot Tubs has always been wonderful. Purchase, delivery, and installation all went smoothly. Anytime we have needed assistance, they are quick to respond whether it is a question about a replacement part or water quality or even when an exterior panel needed to be repaired, the staff go above and beyond. We are fortunate to live close by as well. Our filters needed to be replaced last week so I just stopped by on a whim and Evelyn was very kind and helpful (Hi and thank you again, Evelyn! I enjoyed chatting with you about hot tubs, family, and pets, too!). :)

Sorry to have to write a bad review. Bought the Grandee from the Fairfax store about 5 years ago,…read morehas worked great except for the cover lifter. Getting service this year has been a nightmare. I replaced the entire mechanism for ~$1200 last year. This year (in March 2026), it detached from the hot tub, rendering it unusable in the prime spring weather. - I spent the last 10 weeks trying to get someone to come out to repair it (offered to pay full price) but no reponse. - Initially spoke to someone in the service center, who told me I needed a "bracket", and that it was on backorder. - A month later (in April), I reached back out to service center to check on status. I was told the original person I spoke to was no longer with the company, and the part wasn't the issue. - I asked to speak with a manager; was told to speak to Jeff. - Left multiple messages with Jeff, but he never got back to me. -Filled out the "service form", also no response. After 10 weeks, I got fed up waiting and went the DIY route. Located YouTube instructions on how to remove the panel. Once I did that, I saw the plywood they used to re-install cover lifter last year (which bears ~150 lbs of load btw) was only 1/8" thick, which would explain why the mechanism failed. I installed a 1" board, then remounted the screws on the lifting arm and closed up the panel. Fingers crossed, this will do the trick. As mentioned, the tub works mostly as advertised; Hot Springs equipment is great. However Capital Hot Tub doesn't seem to care about customers once they've made their purchase. The whole point of paying a premium price is to avoid this kind of hassle, and not have to DIY fix your stuff on the weekend.
