After my last 1 star review I got a call from Steve's Appliance repair about 5 minutes after the review posted. I was surprised, and pleased. Made arrangements to have a technician come out the next day. He came on time and was very apologetic about the delay in responding to my previous calls. He analyzed the refrigerator, found the problem and the offered to fix it for free. He came back a few days later and replaced the broken part. I was appreciative of the effort to come and fix the issue. read more

Fantastic experience. I had to reschedule somewhat last minute and Steve was incredibly accommodating - he came out Saturday morning to fix my freezer. He was friendly, cleaned everything, and went above and beyond. I'd absolutely use Steve's Appliance Repair again. Highly recommend. read more

Steve came to my house 4 times to fix my ice maker on my refrigerator. I told him that the refrigerator temperature was not as cold as it was before he worked on it. The forth time he came over, the refrigerator seemed to work better for about 3 weeks. After that the temperature in the fridge and freezer was not as it should be. I called twice to have him come back since of course I had already paid him. The woman that I spoke to said she would call me back, she never did. 2 days later I had to go buy a new fridge. read more

Steve's Appliance Repair - New washer/dryer. Steve's Appliance installed and converted from natural gas to propane. - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Murrieta, California

I hired Steve's earlier this summer for two jobs. They repaired a burner on my stove and worked on my range exhaust fan. For the fan, they first ordered the wrong part causing weeks of delay. Then they said they had to rebuild the engine and it would take a couple of weeks. That was in June. Since I have called and inquired about this issue multiple times. Each time I was assured they would be done soon, they just needed to "talk with the technician". Then last month I learned the technician quit and apparently took my motor with him. I was then told the owner would get in touch with the technician. I have been more than patient. Still zero response. To actually speak to them I have to call each time- I have yet to get a call back, I have yet to have a resolution. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place that clearly does not value their customers, does not keep their word and does not solve problems when they arrive. read more

Steve's Appliance Repair - GE fridge water & ice dispenser was completely non-functional and Daniel had I sorted immediately! - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Murrieta, California

A rep for the co called me back and had the original service repair guy come and re look at the work he noticed that indeed there were screws not affixed and fixed with new ones he removed the panels to check where it sparked and made sure it was proper which it was now. I did have to mention which I thought he was aware that the door opening turns off the heat each time. ( I-assumed he was aware) he was not. Which was odd I thought. Anyhow. He checked for gas leak and now there was none. Everything seems to be working correct and he did not charge me for return visit and came back promptly. I have not tried it out yet which will be the ultimate test. Fingers crossed. read more

I've had them fix my dryer and my fridge and both times they came they were very professional and fairly priced. They show you/tell you what went wrong. I appreciate the transparency and seeing what caused what. Most appliances need routine maintenance at some point and I'm glad I've found this place. I requested Daniel because he fixed my dryer. I waited an extra week because he was on holiday but when he got back he fixed the leak in my fridge. Hopefully nothing goes wrong anytime soon but if it does I know where to call. I recommend this place I've had resolution both times, efficiency, and a fair value. Can't really ask for anything more. read more

No bs from Steve, he definitely tells it like it is! It was nice to have a tech that knows his stuff, most don't!

Updating my original review because the company truly made an effort to make things right. After a frustrating start with scheduling and communication, the owner personally came out, diagnosed the issue, repaired my washer, explained everything clearly, and made sure it was fully draining and working before leaving. I especially appreciated the transparency, professionalism, and willingness to take accountability for the earlier issues. They completely waived both the service fee and repair cost, which I was extremely grateful for. They also responded very quickly and came out in a timely manner to fix the problem, which made a huge difference. My washer is now working again, and I genuinely appreciate the effort they made to turn the experience around. I will definitely be using their services again in the future and truly appreciate Steve and his help. read more

Prompt service, good communication. Fixed our refrigerator. Estimate went towards balance of repair. Fairly priced.

It went very well on time delivered as stated. Service tech very polite and mindful of work area

I repeat for the third time !!! You have not made things right with this situation. Three visits , $750 worth of parts replaced and my dishwasher still does not work. It is brand new. This is an absolute joke. What a rip off. Replacing parts I didn't need. Charging me , making me call and demand an appt. Customer service is not good. They continue to not do the job. read more

I told them the washing machine's diagnostic was suggesting a clutch issue. I know quotes are tricky, but asked for an estimate that if it were the clutch, how much for an estimate (parts, labor, house call, tax). I was given a reasonable estimate. Well, they cancelled the first appt due to issues, then when someone came, the issues was the clutch, but they estimated about 3xs the original estimate. So I paid their house-call fee. But why? I was right and their estimate vs actual was a difference of about $400 more?!? Tech was nice, but I lost $$$ and was right in the end. read more

We really appreciate Steve, he was so professional. He was able to fix our dryer and explain what could of cause the issue to hopefully not need to call him back. Highly recommend! read more

I am usually reluctant to use an outside service for appliance repair as we have American Home Shield, and I go through them for any appliance issues, but AHS has some contractors that just don't really want to repair anything and blame the homeowner for issues...i'll just leave it at that... We had a Dryer recently no longer dry clothes. I reached out to Steve's appliance repair on a Friday night and on Saturday afternoon, a technician name Eugene was dispatched. He messaged me letting me know what time he would be there, and when he arrived he was professionally dressed and very friendly. He quickly started to troubleshoot and within a few minutes of having the dryer apart he found the issue. He let me know what the issue was, and even though he could have just told me i needed to purchase a part, he was very honest and said your part is still good, and it may go bad, but I don't want to charge you, so I'll just reset the switch to see if that gets things going. Saturday evening we used the dryer for about 40 minutes and realized there was no heat so I sent a text message to Steve's appliance repair and on Sunday Eugene came back out and replaced the part and success.. I hope all the technicians are as trustworthy as Eugene and really care about their customers and want to provide the best customer service experience. Thank you Eugene. I won't hesitate to use them again for other appliance related issues should they come up. read more

The guy was very nice and went beyond the repair cost. He also vacuumed the condenser and cleaned everything up. It was not until the next day that he installed a new ice maker; did not charge for a service call. The new ice maker works, but it either makes too little ice or too much. He told us if anything else goes wrong, that we should buy a new refridgerator; so we have not called him back to fine tune the new ice maker. No need. Five stars. He's also honest. read more

super quick service call. the guy showed up within 2 hours. but extremely expensive. the washer lid switch was broken. the switch costs $25 but the repair was $360. I could get a new washer for $499 at Costco. then they charge $7 to pay using a card. And who is Steve? I don't know. I feel like I should have just bought a new washer for $150 more. read more

Made an appointment for tech to service a commercial fridge (was not cooling to proper temp) at my place of work. Based on reviews, I thought this company may be able to assist. The person who came identified themselves as Steve and I took him to work on the fridge, I left him to do his work. When I went back out to see if he fixed or was almost done he had disappeared. He just left, no info. No update, nothing. Pretty rude. So I called the # on yelp and they said he will call you right now and provide an update. That was Friday, today is Tuesday and I never got a call back. Thanks for nothing I guess. read more

Not only did he not fix my problem but he made it worse. There was so much wrong with this whole thing from the guy showing up in a different companies shirt to the things he talked about while my freezer was open and my food was fine too the problem being even worse after he left and then he showed up with a new part that he had never given me a price for and seems surprised when I didn't want to pay that. read more

We had an issues with our washing machine making strange noises and found Steve's Appliance nearby. They were very easy to contact for scheduling, was quoted a reasonable price, and within a few days Eugene showed up and did a wonderful job! A couple months later the Washing Machine still works perfect and we didn't need to order any special parts! Highly recommend this business and if possible ask for Eugene! read more

I understand this is a business and they need to make a profit, but one thing I don't appreciate is when companies overcharge or try to upsell to people who may not know better. I hired this company out of convenience because my house is vacant and I live over an hour away. When Chris came out, he mentioned the bent gas pipe and an igniter issue. He didn't mention anything about carbon monoxide buildup at the time. He told me I might be better off just buying a new stove, but I told him I still wanted to fix it -- even if it was going to cost $500. Then I received a quote for over $900 to replace almost every burner, which was never discussed. The added explanation was "carbon monoxide build-up," which we never talked about, and it felt like they were pushing extra repairs I didn't ask for. After my texts were ignored, I called another company -- Assured Appliance Repair -- and they answered right away, helped me out, and fixed the issue for just $200. To be fair, Chris did work with my schedule and waited until house tours were done, and I appreciate that. He was honest in some ways, but a bit rude over the phone, and while I can overlook that, I don't support companies taking advantage of others. Just want to share this so others are aware. Here's a photo of all burners working -- except the one I actually needed help with. Was that really worth $900? read more

Very impressed with these guys. As someone who owns a business myself I can really appreciate good communication, showing up on time, and professionalism.
