Have a Bosch dishwasher and it is difficult to find anyone willing to service them. Jorge answered my call promptly, set a service date and arrived "ON TIME". The error code implied we might need to replace the pump, or worse the dishwasher! He quickly diagnosed the problem and found the source of the issue, something very small was blocking the vent. Easy fix, no parts. While here he took the time to review how to check for this in the future, as well his top 5 important list in keeping the dishwasher in great working order. I really appreciated this. While I was getting him paid, he opened or GE Café double oven and also provided maintenance tips on keeping oven clean and cautioned on using the inbuilt oven cleaning cycle. I was having trouble with my stove burners, thought it needed a new igniter and it turns out just needed to be cleaned, he cleaned all the burners and it now works great. I was going to another appointment but he was able to work me into his schedule that day. Wonder family operated business. Jorge and his son take pride in being responsive to all repair requests and are great at explaining what may have contributed to an appliance breaking and how to prevent it in the future. I have used them to not only install a new dishwasher, but also to troubleshoot when water was spewing out of the air gap 8 months later. (This is where Jorge taught me how to be proactive and clean out the air gap every few months with a brush made specifically for such a task) SoCal appliance is also who I called when my 10 year old microwave stopped working. They helped by replacing a part and saved me from having to buy and new microwave and face plate because the newer microwaves don't come in the same dimensions my current one is. read more

I was doing some laundry getting ready for a trip I would be leaving on in a few days. Of course the washer broke that evening and the door was locked so I couldn't even get the clothes out. I called George at 6:05 AM and I must have sounded a like a frantic lunatic with everything else going on and he asked me the model of my washer. I found it on the original paperwork, and he told me he would check if he had the part, but he would come out and look and at least free my clothes. He was able to squeeze me in and got here about 9:30 with the part in his hand!!! The repair was extremely reasonable...I would have paid him double at this point!!!
