DO NOT EAT HERE! First of all they advertise on their web page and on the window specific pricing for a hamburger meal. They then charge you twice the amount. I asked for a small burger, Fry and soda. This is what is painted on their window for $8.95 and we were there on Thursday as advertised . She then charges up 9.99 for the burger and 5.99 for fries and a soda. When we asked about the error she said the one in the window has sesame seeds on the bun and my overcharged one did not. I used to go there at least once or twice a month, but their quality has gone from bad to worse. I had an incident with this wanna be "CHOLA" lady there who had a terrible attitude. They even seemed upset when I went back to ask for fresh fries. This happened about two months ago. Today I spent $24, and the fries were disgusting and old. The burger was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. The club sandwich was OK and the fries were disgusting. I stopped going to Tommy's Burgers because I liked Steve's better, but now Steve's has lost my trust and my business . I'll be taking my business back to Tommy's, as they never served food of low quality. Cold burgers and nasty, hours-old fries are not what I want to consume. GREAT BREAKFAST! This is definitely one of East Hemet's best restaurants/breakfast spots. I got two English muffin sandwiches with egg, bacon, and cheese and they hit the spot. I also ordered some hash browns, they were a bit greasy but amazing nonetheless. I also ordered a soft drink with my meal and it came to around $17.99. It's a bit pricey but at least it was high quality. I'm such a doof for not coming here more often, i definitely will now! There's plenty of indoor seating and the restaurant feels very spacious. I also noticed some limited outdoor seating if you want to catch some sun. My friend and I placed some takeout orders and we got our meals quickly! Some of the best "fast food" in the valley. Portion size is very large, I'm almost never able to finish what I ordered. The carne asada fries and fried zucchini alone are worth the stop here. The breakfast burrito is also very tasty. The service is OK depending on the time of day. Sometimes it is quick and you're out within 10 minutes, and others you're waiting 30 minutes and there's no line. I wish I took a picture. I'm not one to complain because I chose to go out instead of making my own. I've gone here several times to get the family deal and it's always been good. Maybe it was just a bad start to a very long day. This was the 1st time going for breakfast. My husband and I walked I and were not greeted. We were looking at the menu and the cashier seemed bother since we didn't know what we were going to get. We then decided to order a bacon and ham omelet with hashbrowns and toast to share with a short stack of pancakes. $30 for one plate and pancakes with a drink. Wow! So we waited about 20 min for our meal and the disappointment in my husband's face when they brought it out. They slapped 2 slices of sandwich cheese on top of the omelet. They could of atleast give it a chance to melt the cheese. Omelet was very thin. He tried to pick up the omelet with the fork and the fork couldn't grab it. We were driving thru Hemet and decided to stop here for Lunch. We saw Yelp'er Linda J's review and decided to give them a try. Whoa, glad we did. The Pastrami sandwiches ($12.59) here are amazing and huge. They must weight 2 lbs, no exaggeration (photo). We also bought a hamburger ($3.79) and medium drink. The burger was grilled to order and fresh. No complaints there either. Steve's JR pastrami is strictly west coast and not east coast deli. today at 2:30 my mom placed through door dash for Steve's jr . I decided to pick up her food through the drive through and advise them i have a pick up , Angelica tells me to head to the window . I get to the window and am told I have to go inside for DoorDash to "Confirm the order " i have a bad knee and there wasn't anyone in the drive through , so I get inside and guess what shes not waiting to help me shes taking another customer order after she told me she needed to see me confirm it , so another girl ask me how she can help and I said I came to pick up MY order and Angelica starts ranting off saying ohhh yeahhh I told you , you had to come inside and I said the girl was asking me a question because she was confused as to why Angelica still wasn't giving me my order because she was helping another customers in the drive through . I got my order from another girl and Angelica didn't confirm it like she said she would so what was the point of going inside ? The whole time she had poor service , I asked why the attitude ? It was stale pita bread over cooked on the griddle until it was so hard you could barely chew it. The meat which there was hardly any of was cooked until almost burnt and the huge glob of lettuce and tomato, to make it look like you got your money's worth, did nothing to to help. $19.00 for total garbage. The worse food. I have tried to call them twice, all you get is an answering machine, "Imagine my Shock!!" (WHAT ARE THEY TRYING T0 HIDE?!) The girl suggested a steak sandwich. So, I have never been there before, but I had hoped she was honest. "Imagine my Shock" when the food I received was horrible and that would make her dishonest. It was very obvious it was all about the money. After paying almost $18.00 and with getting a sandwich that was so tough and full of fat, it was more like eating jerky. Went to Steve Jr burger for the first time because I was craving zucchini with ranch. Went through the drive-through and I ordered zucchini with a side ranch, also ordered a hamburger got home and they were mozzarella sticks. I called let them know I was just there five minutes ago and that they screwed up my order and they said they looked at the previous tickets and there's no Ticket that matched my order...They kept insisting it was not at their place and I have the receipts in my hand. Kept complaining about they couldn't find the ticket while I told them there was a white ticket in the bag with the food besides the two receipts that I got for paying with my debit card. I came here right before they closed (I know not the best choice) and I ordered in drive thru and paid for asada fries when I got home my food was not even edible the fries where burnt to the point there was no potato inside from the fries being refried multiple times in my opinion (I work in fast food so I would know) I called to let them know and they told me since they are about to close to come back another time I had them write my name and number down when I called today for them to make a replacement they told me that my name or number was not on the list and I wasn't able to get my ordered made since it happened a month ago I explained I lived out of town and it was far away for me to come back the next day I'm very disappointed because it was a waist of my money and time. The worker on the phone wasn't helpful at all and was a bit rude and didn't want to really help my situation knowing I was un pleased with the service. I don't understand why I was asked to give my personal information to make it right and then was told no because I should have came back the next 2 days and wasn't even informed that Information. I have eaten here many times. I've lived in the Valle Vista/ East Hemet for 20 years. Steve's west, Steve's on Sante Fe, and Steve's East have been got to places for the wife and I for many years. The food is good, worth the wait sometimes because it is made to order. Their breakfasts are as good as any diner. The burgers are exactly what you want from a burger and fries combo. I can hardly dive through without ordering the Pastrami Sandwich combo. Its a big pastrami, not a tiny one with a few slices of meat. Its big enough to save half for Pastrami & Eggs the next day. My wife teases me about driving up and talking about getting a burger or a country fried steak, or a Gyro and I drive out with a Pastrami Combo. So why am I writing a review for a place I eat at regularly? Its worth mentioning. I came in determined to not have Pastrami. I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito. I was really surprised that i had forgotten how good it is. It tastes like homemade. The staff really gave me something delicious.
