My first appointment was for my transmission fluid. They were performing their free routine inspection and found two problems I didn't even know I had. My battery was on its last legs and they caught the low voltage. The week prior, I thought it was my key fob and just replaced the battery in my key fob. They saved me from being stranded with a dead battery. Then they noticed a giant nail in the inner sidewall if one of my rear tires. I always inspect my tires before I commute every day but never check the inside since I cant see it. Again, saved me from a blow out on the bridge. I agreed to have them replace the tire. They tracked one down from a place in San Jose. Installed same day. The tech did scratch my rim when mounting the tire, as seen in photo. Not to worry. George immediately pointed it out and offered to fix it by outsourcing to have it repainted asap. Oni worked tirelessly with me and around my schedule to complete this task. Even offered me a loaner so I wouldnt be without a car. Very happy with the result and youd never know it was scratched. He unplugged the wastegate actuator to show me as well. Jack was very responsive and immediately had a recommendation before even looking at my car. I brought it in for a $155 diagnostic, and if they couldn't fix it I wouldn't be charged. Unlike other places, they drove my car over 100 miles to try to replicate the issue! Although they still couldn't replicate it, they looked into my vehicle's service history and walked me through their recommendations. I had a terrible time with the gentleman who owned the shop in front of theirs, who lied and told me I was in the right place, which wasn't corrected until I called Fremont Auto Center looking for an update. Jack personally went next door to check on my car, and offered me 10% off repairs. I was told I could drop my car off the next day without needing another appointment. I met Sal, who has such a wonderful and charming personality, and it was great to meet Jack in person, too. Within an hour, I had the full analysis and estimate, and around 2:30, a couple of hours before closed, I was called and told the car wouldn't be finished, and asked if I'd like to come pick it up for the weekend (which I declined, we didn't need it!). The prices were fair, and their system of telling you what absolutely needs work versus what they recommend to be worked on was so great in helping me understand what was wrong with the car. My experience with them made me tell my husband that I'd drive to them if we ever moved out of the area. I can't recommend this place enough (just make sure you drive all the way to the green building and dont let anyone stop you like I did!)
