It's refreshing, honestly. Kevin is also very kind and cool! I always see him in the cat food section, ready to help customers. These small interactions make my day a tad bit better. The general quality of commercial and the few organic brands, prepared foods, cheeses, etc are fine. Some of Hannaford's stock is tailored to the local community. For example, I feel these folks offer more bison cuts and even think there's more turkey here than any other local supermarket I shop at in Westchester County. It's easy to rack up points with their free loyalty program which you can use to get money off your entire grocery bill with those $5, $10 (listen, I'll take it) or receive those coupons to spend on individual offers. Buy one get one free sales are great, but if the one is extremely overpriced then those of us who live alone will never get a decent price on those items (I don't think I can eat 36 ounces of blueberries before they go bad, for example). Another big issue for me is that the rotisserie chickens are incredibly dry. I purchased one the day they opened, and it was so dry that I called and told customer service that I understand it's their first day and maybe they needed some time to work out all the imperfections, but the chicken was almost too dry to eat. They kindly offered me a gift card for my next visit. I went today and used that to purchase a rotisserie chicken. This one is also going to need a lot of sauce. The staff is very nice, everyone I interacted with was in fact "friendly". But I really miss ShopRite prices closer to home. And their chicken.

I still don't like your entry and exit points onto both Delaware Avenue and Broadway (there's no lighting onto Broadway) and it seems very confusing at this intersection due to the crisscrossing of yet a third road from a location nearby. I actually don't like this corner: cars coming from the 'Strand come up Broadway too quickly there and it can get interesting navigating.
