I've taken my riding lawnmowers, rototiller that is quite old and a generator to Stewart's for many years now and everything comes back in top notch running condition. I had Stewart's repair my zero turn, wouldn't start (idle had been surging the previous fall), mower ran fine for 1 -1/2 cuts but the idle or engine began it surge/fluctuate. I called Stewarts to have it looked at again I asked Stewarts to pick up the unit, we agreed on a Friday or the following Tuesday. Stewarts was a no show both days and stopped returning my calls. I am not sure what this issue was, I did not show frustration, or demand free repair, I just asked to have it looked at again. Fortunately, I was able to find another service that was able to repair the mower. read more

This is one of the worst company's to do business with! My fiancé and I dropped off a small chainsaw to be fixed over a month ago and never heard back from the company. My fiancé went to pick up the machine and they were racist and condescending after he asked why it was never fixed. They became aggressive and tried to start a fight with him. I had them pick up my snowblower and deliver it back home to me. They fixed it within two days and the price to fix was very reasonable. I'm totally happy with the service and price. I would use them again. I will agree with someone who complained about call back, but he is close to Menard's so I just stopped by and talked to him. I will not go back! I called after a week and a half there, had a hard time getting someone to answer the phone, and when they did they said they were 1 1/2 to 2 weeks behind... I finally went to pick it up 5 WEEKS LATER after still no call from them and they had lost the paperwork. Supposedly it was fixed, paid $70, brought it home and it has the same exact issues. My Craftsman lawn tractor drive belt broke and had to look for a local place to fix it. Several places closer, but reviews not so good, so I took it to Stewart's, and glad I did. They took it and took care of the belt and had them also do the deck belt for the blades, and got it done in the timeframe they told me. Very reasonable on prices and good service. Wrong place to take equipment to be repaired equipment sits for months and is never touched. Then this guy won't return phone calls. nor will he tell you what's going on. I finally got in touch with this guy o my to find out the machine was never worked on. He had it since April. So then he tells me to come get the machine I asked him was it fixed he kept saying come get the machine and no he was not going to work on it. Because I was asking to many questions. But the kicker is he had no intention on working on it not sure why cause he had it for some months. people please be careful when using this place of business find someone else read more

This place is so damn unprofessional. When you drop off an item to be repaired, it is the responsibility of the person who is doing the repair to get in contact with the consumer, let them know what's going on with the machine, the part that's needed to fix the machine and the cost. How do you hold someone's machine for weeks and not answer the phone, not responding to emails about their item. Then get an attitude when questioned about the lack of communication. My son is not the first customer to have this problem with this company. He even told my son, he don't have a business and he has more customers than he do. What the hell does that have to do with him providing a service? Instead of small engine repair, your small mind need repairing. read more

These guys are so easy to work with. Desperately needed our snow thrower fixed so we didn't have to endure shoveling again. They picked up and delivered for a low price and saved me the effort in trying to load that big thing into my SUV. The repairs were done for a great price.
