I love this spot located on the Northside. The taproom is cozy with a good amount of seating towards the back. I saw they've added pinball machines and records. I love the modern decor. It's a vibe. They make great beer. Their hazys are great and they're also well known for their sours which typically have a full feel for that smoothie-like pour. I tried the bohemian Pilsner this last visit and it was also pretty excellent. You can buy cans in the taproom. I know they occasionally have food trucks. They've created a nice sitting area outside the taproom by the sidewalk. There is street parking right in front-usually you can find something pretty easily. They're also right down the block from another brewery if you like to hop around. read more

We've been observing "new brewery Sunday" where we try a brewery we haven't been to. Recently we went to four points brewing on the north side. Street parking was ample and free on Sundays - so, no parallel parking needed! The front interior is a bar and the back has tables and pinball. There's a couple of outside seats but it was cold so we didn't try them out. TVs had the pens game on. The beers are good with enough variety for everyone to find something. We threw out a mass text to our friends to invite everyone, and we had plenty of space for all eight of us that showed up by the end. Bartender was quick and attentive. I can't say there was anything special either way about this spot, but we liked the beers enough to ensure a trip back. read more

I've been to the original location in Charleroi in the past. This one I've walked by a million times but never stopped in for a drink. Parked in the area for class and stopped by. The place is great, small but right to the point. As they have pinball machines in the back and a good variety of beers. I sampled the Fourth Street which is a dry hopped 6.6 ABV beer. It has a nice cloudy and amazing taste to the beer. This was my favorite offering that they had in place. I highly recommend this place. read more

I guess Pittsburgh's craft beer scene is migrating to the North Side. An awesome craft brewery with a wonderful, entertaining space. Big variety of beers with close to twenty beers on tap. Nice selection to please any palette or mode. There were sessionable yet specialized beers like a Vietnamese lager, a new world Pilsner, and German style Pilsner. Yet there were a handful of bolder styles like IPAs, porters, and stouts. I appreciated that they were very mindful of the draft lines and taps. Texture and temperature of the beers were all perfect. Loved the head on my Pilsner. It's a very fun space. They have a few pinball machines in the back. Some TVs and a lounge space to catch games in a home style environment. They have vinyl records playing too. There is also outdoor seating for those nicer days. They have it all! Bartender was quick, knowledgeable, and helpful. read more

Great brewery on the north side! They brew in Washington County from what we were told. There were 10+ beers on tap, including several hazy options. I ended up torn between Fourth Street and Queen for a Day. Both were delicious and opted for the Queen for Day for a lighter ABV after having come from Threadbare. It's a very approachable beer and offers good character. The spot has a long bar area and some seating by the pinball machines as well. We ended up sitting outside to enjoy the nice weather. They're great and had umbrellas up and available to adjust. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and a pizza food truck was available out front. I didn't try but my party did order a white pizza with jalapenos they enjoyed. Street parking was easy, check it out! read more

Let me start by saying my boyfriend and I love visiting different breweries, both in Pittsburgh and when traveling. We had been to the original Four Points location once and loved it. Then we happily picked up four packs at Giant Eagle. We were happy to see a location was opening closer to be able to go and enjoy the taproom. We have been in twice before. Last night we decided to stop by just to try two different beers. We tried the Every Time Only Once (Blackberry/Pomegranate) and it was delicious. We also tried the Oatmeal Creme Pie stout which was okay but definitely didn't live up to some of the other stouts we have enjoyed there. They have the beers up on a board but do not list sizes or prices. Previously we had been offered paper menus but this time we had not. We were told the beers came in 8 ounce or 16 ounce so we ordered an 8 ounce pour of the two beers. We got our beers and grabbed some seats towards the front as the bar was pretty full. Fruit flies galore! I understand bugs happen but there was easily 20 fruit flies zooming around my head and my beer. I killed several even and there was too many. It was distracting for sure. I felt like I was worrying more about keeping bugs out of my beer then I was enjoying the beer. The bartender was talking beer with customers which is always a good thing. The bartender was discussing how other Pittsburgh breweries charge too much and the beer isn't worth it. This is the second occasion where we heard him sharing this opinion. He is entitled to his opinion but honestly I would rather see breweries supporting each other as so many local breweries do. However the real kick in the pants... $16 for two 8 ounce pours. Completely ridiculous. I have since looked at the online menu and I now see we were charged for full pours. So a bartender saying how other breweries overcharge for beer while overcharging your customers... not a good look. read more

Stepped into this gem with some family on Saturday to be greeted with a friendly "How ya doin,What can I get cha?" from Corey our Beer Barista. The beer and the atmosphere were great. We enjoyed both immensely. Good music (by Corey) good beer, what more could you want? Our barstool neighbors seemed to enjoying their visit as well while playing a Bar game. Nice little spot. A couple more seats at the far of the end of the bar would be nice, but COVID restrictions are what they are. Not bad for parking, found a spot somewhat easily. You are however contending with peppi's folks, war streets, here and 412. I had no problem however getting a table inside. Four Points has been one of my favorite breweries on the area. Atrocious service. I went earlier today and there was 1 bartender. Tall, dark buzzed head, camo pants. I went to the bar to order a drink and he completely ignored me. Would not make eye contact with me. He Approached the guy next to me who said "oh this lady has been waiting far longer than I have". So the bartender turned and just stared at me. I ordered. They have a sign that says they card everyone so I took my ID out along with my credit card. He shoved my ID away. It was such a bizarre experience.
