We stop in here every time we come visit Mystic.CT. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The store is in Mystic but has a very genuine old school juice bar feel. I love Karma Kitchen, have been a frequent visitor for a few years now. Their smoothies knock any local comp or Smoothie King out the park. The PB&Fruit toast is a favorite & go to. I've noticed sometimes the quality differs depending on who is working, certain employees put forth more effort than others when preparing. Still tasty! Though the food is good, my biggest concern would be the lack of use of PPE. Gloves should always be worn while making food for clients. My wife and I called in an order for two Karma Cobb salads. I arrived a little late to pick them up. They had them stored neatly in a bag in the refrigerator waiting. Excellent service and great healthy food. The salads were amazing and fresh. The citrus vinaigrette dressing was stored in a large container which was more than enough and the best part was the carrot bacon. We both loved the salad!!! The smoothies here are SO good. I've been here twice before and get the same thing every time. Ginger shots that will legitimately knock you into next week. It's fantastic. Then I get The TropiKALE green smoothie with almond milk and apple juice (the girls working at the smoothie and I were joking calling it "apple milk" or "almond juice") everyone there is very nice. Service is great! Since Karma is in Mystic everything there is a tad bit more expensive, but it's mystic so I'd expected it. Anytime im planning a quick outing I recommend this place. read more

I ordered an Acai Pump Smoothie with banana, peanut butter and what I received was a watery beverage that tasted to nothing (not to banana, not to peanut butter, not to acai, not to berries). It was bland and watery. Smoothies are supposed to be thick, creamy and smooth! My husband ordered a pesto chicken wrap and the texture was hummus like with no flavor to pesto. What a wonderful place! Googled "vegetarian" and found this place very close to the highway and basically right there in cute and quaint Mystic. Do stop in the area - it's so worth it. Karma Kitchen has the perfect menu with all day breakfast as well as hot and cold lunch items. Desserts are in the frig and local products are available to purchase. I scored a jar of spirulina made locally, which tastes fresh and invigorating. You can eat inside or at the tables out back which do face the lovely harbor. We walked in they did not greet us and took 25 minutes for two terrible smoothies. A woman walked in around 10 minutes into our wait they took her order right away. I normally would not have said anything but my husband who never complains was irritated. The smoothie was so bad ice water with a splash of fruit and the cleanliness is questionable. I can't believe i just tried this place last weekend for the first time! It is hands down my new favorite spot in Mystic. Last weekend I got a live bagel (they get their bagels from Right Path Organic Cafe in NL!) with fresh avocado and an açaí smoothie. Perfect feel good after you eat it lunch, especially refreshing in this hot weather! My friend got a smoothie bowl, even though I didn't try it, it was beautiful, definitely planning on ordering one soon! Today I got the Thai Veggie wrap (picture in review) it was just the right amount of spicy and soooo flavorful. I also got another açaí smoothie. I've tried the karma kobb the past three days while on lunch at work, and each day the salad is missing an add on that I paid for through a mobile order. This is obviously irritating to anyone as it had been paid for, but everytime it's been something different. Monday, added chickpeas and paid .45 cents- no chickpeas. Tuesday, substituted dressing- wrong dressing added to order. Today, Wednesday, added beat shreds and paid- barely a pinch of beet shreds (when on Monday the entire top of the salad was covered in beet shreds), and each salad not including the extra avocado added on as well. I was excited every time I bought this salad, this totaling at the end $15 salad, but let down each time I took a bite and realized I had paid for things that weren't added each time. We were in Mystic in February (somehow my family always ends up in seasonal spots during weird times of year) and Karma Kitchen was one of the few breakfast places that was open. We are staying at the Whaler's Inn, so I walked down the street to pick up my online order at Karma. I was impressed that 1: the online ordering worked seamlessly and 2: the food was great. I had granola, my son had oatmeal, and husband got a smoothie. All of which were delicious and surprisingly inexpensive to be a "natural flax chia" kind of place. read more

Smoothie were great but If you're in a rush or have somewhere to be, do not come here. Waited 45 minutes for my order. I saw multiple people waiting, getting upset, and wanting to cancel the order. The green juice tasted awful and did not seem to be fresh. It had a heavy earthy, old taste and not enough apple, lime, or ginger to improve the flavor. I took a few sips and, sadly, had to throw the rest in the trash. Very polite employees, but extremely slow service. They seem to be understaffed for the weekend crowd. Waited almost 30 minutes for this "fresh" green juice blend. Actually asked for a refund because I had not expected the wait to be so long and I had other places to be, but then one of the employees said that she could get it for me quickly. She went to the refrigerator and poured the "fresh" juice from a pitcher into a cup. There was absolutely no reason for the wait to be that long. read more

SLOWEST Service in the area. We know it takes a while to make good food, and the food is good, but most recent trip was my husband with our 1 & 3 yr old waiting for some strawberry smoothies. Husband waited a half hour (after ordering), before someone acknowledged the three of them sitting there waiting. They apologized for not realizing he had already ordered and he waited a probably 10 more minutes and he asked them if they had started it yet and they said no, so after 40minutes they all left empty handed. read more
