Arrived in Paso a little early for our Airbnb check in so we drove to still water. We didn't have a reservation, which i would highly advise you to get. Although if so, the attendant was so kind and nice to allow us to join them. The wine was spectacular to say the least, but for me.. the olive oil was by far the best I've ever had. Completely reminded me of my parents olive oil from the Beira Alta region of portugal. Thank you for letting me realize, the magic of the hills of Europe is alive and well in Paso Robles. read more

My first vineyard experience, and it was anything but snooty or stodgy. I brought my own cheese and crackers, as the website lets you know they encourage visitors to enjoy a picnic while there. Plenty of seating at outdoor tables with sun umbrellas, beautiful olive tree grove (they bring bread and olive oil to the tables!), and gorgeous flowerbeds and Koi pond to enjoy as you stroll around with your wine glass. I stayed for a few hours learning about and tasting several wines, enjoying their laid-back music and reading my book. No pressure to purchase, but I bought a Grenache to enjoy back at my rental. read more

I made a reservation for 5 adults and we had five kids and this is one of the few places at Paso Robles that were able to accommodate such a large number. We loved the wines and the olive oil. We came here with time to kill between two other winery reservations and they took us right away as a walk in! Taylor was our main "helper" so to speak, and was so bubbly and kind and knowledgeable about the wines but did not put tons of pressure on us to buy. We told them we were on our honeymoon and two other employees came by to chat with us and congratulate us. We were celebrating my husband's 80th birthday celebration with a wine tour with family and friends. Stillwater winery was our third stop and I couldn't have picked a better winery to end our tour. The staff is fabulous and their wines are so delicious. Several of our family members purchased wine from their winery and a couple of our kids gave my husband a bottle of Stillwater's wine. We will definitely be opening it this Christmas season. I would highly recommend this winery to anyone visiting the Paso Robles area. read more

Loved this place! I came as a group of 6, felt very safe as all the staff members were wearing masks, and the the seating was outdoors. There were at least 7-8 tables and they could accommodate big parties pretty well. I'd suggest making a reservation online prior visiting since the tables were all full when we arrived! The wine tasting was $20, but tasting fee is waived if you buy 2 bottles of wine (which we did, 10/10 recommend, the Pinot was our favorite.) The only thing was that our server (though super friendly) did not explain the wines much when pouring for our tasting, but our group didn't particularly mind. Bonus points for being dog friendly, having corn hole, and a yummy charcuterie board. Would definitely come back. read more

Eberle was my favorite for their generosity, Daou had the most beautiful view, J Dusi had great Zinfandel, and Still Waters was the most fun winery. Came here during the Harvest Weekend and tried Grape Stomping. Don who was helping his good old friend Paul (the owner of Still Waters Winery) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about wine. We simply stopped by for a tasting and before we knew it Paul had us comparing barrel tastings of different harvest dates and American Oak against French Oak... all estate grown. He clearly loves what he does and we thoroughly enjoyed him sharing his passion with us and educating in the process on this impromptu tour. Beautiful vineyard and tasting room! The service is welcoming and very assertive. 2 free tastings with check in? Perfect! The tasting room is gorgeous, with a little covered patio looking out to a well groomed lawn. If you take a small hike up the hill they have a very intimate lookout with two chairs staring out at a picturesque scene of the vines. Right now the leaves on the vine are a stunning mixture of orange, red and brown. Great place to relax and enjoy the day with someone you love :-). They have a great selection of whites and reds for tasting, all at a reasonable price. Most of the whites they have are very heavy on the oak and a bit creamy. Especially their Cuvée Blanc, Viognier, Sauv Blanc and Chardonnay. The Pinot Gris was much lighter and crisp (as expected), and the Rose is pretty full bodied with heavy vanilla and strawberry flavors. I liked their whites, but the reds stole the show. My personal favorites were the Syrah, Merlot, and both Cab Sauvs. Definitely worth stopping by! With amazing wines and friendly people, Still waters is definitely not just another pretty face! read more

I went here for the first time last weekend with three good friends on a mini vacation down to the Central Coast and was NOT disappointed! With COVID guidelines, you can make a reservation online and will get a confirmation from the vineyard. The process was simple and no hassle, which I appreciated. I am also thankful that they allow pups; I try to find places that allow my dog to come with us on our wine tasting day. The small cheese plate was perfect for the 4 of us, and not a bad price. The tasting is $15, which is the usual price for the wineries here. This is hands down going to be one of my regular stops when we come back to Paso again. Nicole was incredibly friendly and genuine. We felt like we could hang out there with her the whole day! The views are also beautiful. The venue is pretty big; you can walk around in between tastings and enjoy the wonderful Paso fall weather. We are all looking forward to our return. read more

The setting and comfort of the back lawn view is like no other. The best part of the equation is how good the wine is for the price point. Bocce Ball, Corn-Hole and delectable wine awaits you.
