The Fableist Wine - Interior decor and charcuterie board

I've long wanted to visit The Fableist Wine tasting room in Paso. We came in early, midweek, and…read moretasted from the standard tasting menu -- approximately 5 wines. I really didn't care for any of them -- most of them were not the mainstream varietals - they were a bit too funky/ different for my tastes. I love the branding, but felt to make a connection here with the wines. Super cute tasting room full of the unique branding that makes this wine a fun wine. Next time, I'd come back and picnic under the trees and buy a few bottles of their standard wines for $25. I didn't really care for the funkier wines served in the wine tasting room. Perhaps that's me, perhaps you'll enjoy it.

Krysti has been one to regularly provide tastings anytime I visit with family or friends. She's such a lovely host and highly recommend her anytime you visit. Also, you CANNOT beat the beautiful scenery of oak trees and vineyards that run as far as your eyes can see. On a cool Day check out the deck area, such a relaxing spot to sip on wine and eat the delicious charcuterie (a tasty and fresh offering). Not only that but the ambiance inside is absolutely stunning. Everyone I have taken to Fableist love the experience and walk out extremely impressed. This is a nugget not to miss out on, just check the photos thank you Fableist for all you do

Cambria Hotel Templeton - Exterior of Hotel at Night

The room itself was beautiful and clean. Very spacious bathroom that was stocked with plenty of…read moretowels which was great. The shower came with the necessities such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The lighting in the bathroom was okay. The timer on the mirror was slightly inconvenient because it turns off automatically while you're in the shower and it was just creepy lol but I understand the reason for it. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. Plenty of space to place luggages with the closet and counter space. The tv unfortunately would not cast with our devices which was unfortunate so we had to stick with cable tv which honestly was whatever because we ended up falling asleep right away anyway but for other guests this might be a problem so hopefully the staff can address this issue. The service was great. Check in and check out was a breeze. They were very informative and helpful with answering our questions and directing us where the rooms, pool, gym and restaurant are and the times they are available. If ever in the area, I would definitely book here again.

It's stylish without being too casual, funky, or extravagant bougie. And the pricing is significantly less expensive than other local hotels (at least during my visit). It was super close to Highway 101. The property is under the Choice Hotels brand with 132 rooms stretching across 3 floors. They do not offer daily room cleaning, it's offered on the 3rd day. But this non daily room cleaning is the new standard for most all hotels due to the staffing shortages. However if you request a room cleaning, they will oblige. I had no complaints about the room. Luved the styling and decor. I didn't hear our neighbors, not sure if we had any or if it was that sound proof. The AC was working perfectly. Lots of charging ports. Ample lighting. Desk and side chair with the two beds. Mini fridge. TV. Safe box. Coffee maker with pods, tea bags, cups, sugar and creamer. Armoire. Dresser. Shower water temps and pressure was great. They use Pur soap brand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Pur is known as a crafted soap using minimal plant based ingredients tending to be hypoallergenic. It was a nice feel to the skin with little to no scent. Amenities: Outdoor heated swimming pool. Outdoor lawn- big enough to host events and no dogs allowed on the lawn. Fire pits in various sizes. 12 EV charging stations- free to use by hotel guests. Fitness center. State of the art meeting room/banquet room. In house restaurant and bar in the lobby which is open to the public.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We attended a family wedding there in April. Everything…read moreabout it was horrible! It was pouring rain that day. The venue staff put together cheap, wobbly tents together that leaked on guests & the tables. The bride had to walk down a dirt/muddy path to the ceremony site. Staff should've been covering her, especially since they had her wait on the other side of the gate before entering the ceremony site for over 15 min. The ceremony site wasn't covered at all! All guests, wedding party, bride & groom were getting soaked! If you wanted something from the bar, you had to wait in the rain. All the reception chairs were at the ceremony site. Staff started bringing them over, some staff started wiping them off since they were all wet but shortly gave up cleaning them off then told guests to get their own chairs out of the back of the p/u that was parked by the tent. The spacing for tables & chairs was a joke. Everyone was crammed in like sardines, some people couldn't even sit down due to lack of space! It was a wet, cold and windy day and NO HEATERS ANYWHERE! Everyone had to walk in the rain to go get their plate of food that was getting wet and was already very cold. Completely unappealing! They had 2 porta-potty's for the women. Unfortunately, at the very beginning of the wedding, one stall the door wouldn't lock, the other stall wouldn't flush! The wedding coordinator should try working in a different profession if this is how she handles situations! The venue staff should be ashamed of themselves! I ended up with pneumonia, and I know others who got sick from attending this wedding, which I now call a "Shit Show Wedding"! I hope whoever paid for this wedding received a hefty refund!!! We hope the bride & groom live a long & happy life together, in spite of how this venue treated them & their guests! We recently attended another family wedding somewhere else, and it was absolutely wonderful seeing how well the venue staff took care of the bride & groom and all the guests! Everything about it was wonderful!
