The wine is excellent! The staff are very friendly. Shout out to Kyle for a wonderful, relaxing, and informative wine tasting. The grounds are just beautiful! The French inspired vibe and building esthetic makes for a great couple's date time. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Service, pot de crema, and wine was excellent!! The property is stunning! My favorite was the sparkling Albariño.

Paris Valley Road Estate Winery is easily one of my favorite wineries in Paso Robles. I first stumbled upon it last summer while visiting for the Paso Robles Fair, and after doing a wine tasting, I was instantly hooked! I loved every single wine I tried! I ended up becoming a member, and it has been such a great experience. I recently attended their spring pickup party, and it was fantastic. They had tons of food, live music, and, of course, amazing wine. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful seating both inside and outside, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great glass of wine. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, which makes the experience even better. If you've never been to Paris Valley Road, I highly recommend visiting and trying their wines, you won't be disappointed!

Our first time at Paris, a friend recommended it. We sat outside to take in the view and nice day. 2 of our party bought a chenin to share, they said it was crushable. And then 3 of us did the tasting of the reserve flight. We really liked their reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, it has that Paso grapes taste that we are fond of. We also got the L'Entente and L'Entrevue, both delicious. The price on the wines weren't too bad. Tasting is $35 but waived if buying 3 bottles. I forgot our servers name but she was cool. Even gave us the spring special for the wines! We'll be back for their champagne brunch.

This place exceeded my expectations. The food was exceptionally good and clearly high quality. We had the filet mignon, which was so tender it could be cut with a butter knife--easily one of the best we've had. The lobster toast was excellent, with the lobster cooked perfectly. The staff were knowledgeable and genuinely nice, the wine selection was great, and the interior felt posh and luxurious.

We had such a lovely experience at Paris Valley! The winery is absolutely breathtaking. Every detail is so perfect. Even the bathrooms are beautiful. I love the outdoor patio and it was such a nice day for wine tasting. Laura helped us out with the wine tasting and we had such a lovely time. She was so knowledgeable about all of the wines that we tasted and had a story for each wine which helped us to really savor and appreciate each sip. She was very attentive and you can tell that she is happy and loves what she does. The snacks and charcuterie were amazing as well. We got a few appetizers and each one was so yummy! This may be my new favorite winery in Paso. Highly recommend.

It was our last stop from the long weekend. And before heading back home. First off, this place is beautiful. Have never heard of it but found it just on the maps. First impression, stunning, beautiful property and the vibe was perfect. It was a holiday so it was kind of quiet as most places are either closed or will be closing early. We stopped off for a tasting and it did not disappoint. Right from when you walk in, the whole place was beautifully decorated. There's a beautiful dining area which I assume could be used for a private tasting. As well as the main bar area and to the side was another seating area. As well as the massive outdoor area. There's a huge grassy area and the vineyard as far as the eye can see. Behind is also where the wine are made I believe, with a water fountain. As far as the wine, each and everyone that we've tried was great. From the start to the finished, it was great. The lady that helped us was amazing as well. Friendly and knowledgeable in her craft. The crisp from the whites to boldness from the red, they all were outstanding. This place will for sure be on our list again for the next visit and do recommend giving it a visit.

Pair the tasting with all the stories behind the winery, and it's easily one of the more interesting experiences in Paso. The staff is also incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The patio is a beautiful spot to taste, and if you're there later in the day, the sunset views are hard to beat. Definitely do the free cave tour while you're there. It's one of the coolest winery tours I've been on. The caves are a massive labyrinth carved into the hillside and naturally stay around 55 degrees year round, which is where they age a lot of their wine before bottling. Even if you've been to a lot of wineries, this is something a little different. At the time I'm writing this, tastings are still complimentary, which is almost unheard of these days. If you go, do them a favor and leave with a bottle or two. That's how places like this are able to keep offering experiences like this, and honestly, you'll probably want to take some wine home anyway.

When we checked in and got to our room, the property felt completely empty. We were the only guests we could see, which made the whole place feel eerie and uncomfortable. We walked around the entire property and saw no one. There were only three cars in the parking lot, including ours and the front desk employee's car, yet we were told they were "fully booked" when we asked about moving to a larger room. The room itself was not great. The bed is extremely hard and squeaks with every movement. On top of that, the AC does not work. We told the front desk before leaving for dinner about the AC and were told someone would come fix it. When we returned, the room was even hotter than before & it felt like walking into a sauna. The windows don't open, so the only way to get air in is by opening the doors, which obviously lets bugs in. The "free wine tasting" was also frustrating. At check-in, we were told that we would get complimentary tastings at the tasting room. When we went to the tasting room, we were told they were "too busy" for tastings and that we would need to buy glasses of wine instead. We didn't want to make a scene, so we ended up purchasing a bottle and a glass, which came out to $85 & we never received the tastings we were told were included with our stay. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Between the uncomfortable room, broken AC, lack of guests/staff on the property, and being denied the complimentary tasting we were promised, I would not recommend staying here. Do not let the 4.6 rating fool you.

We were told someone would come to fix it, but no one ever showed -- leaving us without running water for the rest of the trip and making the place effectively unlivable. The property also didn't match the listing: several features were inaccurately described or completely missing, which felt misleading and dishonest. The most disturbing part was the host's response. They initially acknowledged the issue and offered partial reimbursement -- but only if we agreed to leave a positive review. No reimbursement was ever issued, and they later tried to shift the blame onto us. If this is how they treat paying guests, I have little confidence in the integrity of their wine either. I'd strongly advise others to avoid booking this property.

Four Sisters Ranch hosted one of the warmest, most welcoming events I've attended in Paso Robles wine country. Between the music, wine, food, art, vineyard views, genuinely kind people, and one VERY sweet winery dog, the entire evening felt joyful instead of performative. I especially loved connecting with Serena and Elizabeth and learning more about the story behind Four Sisters Ranch -- a winery built from decades of grape growing, craftsmanship, medicine, wellness advocacy, creativity, and community connection. And honestly? Finding out Serena studied both bio-engineering AND mixed media art may have been my favorite surprise of the evening. That is exactly the kind of beautifully layered human Paso Robles seems to attract. But beyond the hospitality, what really stayed with me was learning more about the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail collective itself -- wineries supporting one another while also giving back through scholarship and agricultural education efforts benefiting the local community. THAT is what makes Paso different. The people here still feel connected, and the wineries still feel human. The tasting at Mitchella Vineyard and Winery is $20 for 6 wines, with mindfully curated cheese pairings. (A fantastic deal considering the seemingly skyrocketing cost of everything.) The tasting fee is also waived with the purchase of 2 bottles, which is the route I opted for after completing my experience. Upon arrival I was instantly greeted by Lizzie, as she patiently and quietly waited for me to exit my car. She wiggled her butt toward the entrance, encouraging me to follow. Sweet little start to the day, I'd say! (The winery pup in case you haven't figured that out.) ;-) Rachel quickly greeted me and got me seated next to a heater in their enclosed patio, and the paired adventure began. The Viognier was paired with Kokos, a coconut Gouda cheese. Very surprising on the palate, and the wine definitely emphasized the coconut, while the cheese brought out the pineapple of the wine. The Chardonnay had a crisp mouth feel but still just the slightest hint of that butteriness I tend to love in my chardonnays. The subtle saltiness of the benning goat Gouda smoothed out the crispness of the wine. The Cheap B*st*rd (since I'm not sure what Yelp decides doesn't work for them), was quite enjoyable as a stand alone. For me it had the nose of what I would consider to be darker fruits and a generally more jammy wine, but it was smooth on the palate. The white Stilton with cranberry that it was paired out helped bring forward some of the fruit flavor, but the cheese itself wasn't my favorite (hence the stand alone aspect). The Tempranillo would be my grab a glass and a book and plop down by the fireplace (or on my balcony wrapped in blankets) type of wine. It didn't feel heavy and was just a nice sippable red. On the nose, for me, was a very dark red kookaburra licorice. It had a smooth, light finish and paired quite well with the mimolette (which I will forever know as the cannonball cheese thanks to Rachel!) Presumptuous, a zin, had what I consider to be a jammy mouthfeel (as I still can't figure out how exactly wine connoisseurs identify that!) It was paired with a Boschetto truffle cheese and I feel it brought out a very mushroom forward (favorable) taste when put together. For me, it isn't always about what can the food do for the wine... I love to experience what the find can do for the food! Give me a nice side dish of garlic sautéed mushrooms with a glass of this zin, and pretty sure I'm one happy girl. The only potential downside to me for this winery is that their restroom is a portable. While considerably clean, it's definitely a tight squeeze if you're a bigger girl like myself. Deal breaker? Not a chance. I look forward to a future stop when the vines are green and views expansive!
