My dad has been wanting to go here for a while. Staff was friendly and the restaurant is nicely decorated and a good size. I enjoyed my fried catfish so much that I forgot to take a picture. It was 2 big pieces perfectly seasoned fried catfish and regular fries. My dad got the fried butterfly shrimp which he liked. What we didn't like were his garlic fries. We are used to fries being tossed in fresh garlic with maybe some Parmesan cheese. The garlic was un ceremoniously plopped on top, not mixed/tossed at all. The garlic reminded me of the jarred kind where maybe the jar should have been tossed a few days before. Food was horrible and disgusting. There was only 1 person working and she was ok, but it made service even slower. It took forever for our food to come out and it wasn't even busy. We ordered a kids meal and the fries were so tough, my child didn't even eat them. You have to pay in advance to get your food, which is understandable. But the service, food, portion size is horrible. Also, if you have over 5+ people they automatically add gratuity, which is fine if the service was good. Food is always great! I'm surprised this place isn't as packed especially how spacious it is and close to the stadiums! They usually have the games on and movies to watch to keep you entertained! I enjoyed the fries with a the ranch dipping sauce ( I prefer blue cheese.) The wings did not taste like chicken. It probably was those chicken portions that they sell in the store at a big ole off brand bag. The chicken bones were breaking while I bite the meat. I only are one I guess it was a wing . Today we had to wait 10 minutes before we received the menus although the establishment only had two other customers dining in. Upon receiving our food we realized the server never gave us bibs and gloves which we automatically always receive at the other location without even asking. My husband had to get up and ask for water which we had initially asked for, bibs, gloves, and the missing food items. Our food was also cold upon arrival. That's a big no for me. Cold fries and mussels aren't a good thing to serve. I just feel like they might've been sitting there for a while.
