I was charged for someone else's bill and the only way I found out was checking my credit card statement a few days after dining here. I live in Marina Del Rey very close by so I really wanted to like this place but after what happened I will never be back. I will say that Patty fixed the situation and refunded me the money that I was charged incorrectly, but still that should never happen when dining out at a place of this level, even Denny's doesn't do that. The location is beautiful and it's right off of the water so you can dine while seeing boats and marine life but the food quality is very medium and our service was extremely slow. I think the big draw for this place is that they are the only restaurant in the area on the coastal side that does not charge for parking. I think because of the no parking charge is what draws people in, it is not the food taste or quality. That being said, the parking lot is very big and filled with a lot of spaces so it should not be an issue finding a space. As mentioned the service was extremely slow. It took a long time for our server to come over and take our order, and it took awhile for our entrées to come out. On top of that after our meal was over, our server charged my credit card for someone else's meal, which maybe was a mistake or maybe not, I don't know, but I know that I will never deal with that again at this place since I won't be dining there again. I started off my meal with a cup of the Clam Chowder, which was my favorite part of the meal. It was a very hearty Clam Chowder and I would recommend it. Next, I followed up with the Steamed Clams and honestly they were just OK. The white wine sauce was almost flavorless and even though I dumped my bread in it it just didn't really taste like anything except water. I was really let down by this. For my entrée I wanted to order the Seabass, but they were out so I chose the Halibut and think I made a mistake doing so. It was overcooked and just had no flavor. I ate 3/4 of it because I just didn't want to eat the rest of it. I was really disappointed, and this was even before I found out that I was overcharged. I would not recommend and will never be back.

Tony P's has been a Marina Del Rey gathering spot for over 25 years. It was a perfect pick for a late afternoon meal before heading to an event at the YouTube theater. The large menu is heavy on seafood, pasta and pizza. All were priced very affordably. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant overlooks the marina and we watched two lazy sea lions sunbathing on the nearby dock during our meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Roman, our server, did a nice job of getting our meal prepared in the limited time we had before getting on the road. We arrived during Happy Hour (3-6pm) and saved a bundle on our drinks and meals. I had to try Tony's Martini for $11, as it included blue cheese olives. My dining partner and I shared the Spicy Louisana-Style Mussels. It was very different from the traditional preparation with white wine. Personally, I thought the creole sauce was too overwhelming. I ordered the Blacken Cajun Chicken Pasta for my entrée. The portion was huge and delicious. For $21, it could easily feed two. Roman said the Fish & Chips is one of their most popular signatures. I can understand why Tony P's has such a large and loyal following!

First time at Tony P's, and surely not the last! I was very impressed with both the food and customer service. I came to Tony's on a whim after running the LA Marathon! As you can imagine, I had a voracious appetite and was eager to replenish my glycogen stores immediately. Tony's was the perfect choice since it was conveniently located in a beautiful, peaceful spot on our way home. The food was absolutely fantastic! I ordered a creamy plate of garlic shrimp pasta, and it was heavenly--steaming fresh, perfectly seasoned with Italian spices, and with a sauce that had just the right consistency ... not too thick or watered down. Also, the garlic bread was toasted to perfection without being overly greasy! What made the meal even better was the gorgeous view of the marina, with the sunshine glistening on the sapphire water. Service was efficient and attentive. Our waiter was kind, checked in often, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were seated within 15 minutes, and our food arrived relatively quickly as well! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Thank you, Tony's, for a "champion's" lunch!

Waterfront. Boats. Drinks. Seafood. Easy & free parking. ....I'm there! Mai tai was meh, tbh. Cheap rum is so harsh, especially in mai tais. Too college spring break-y for me. We'll just have to go with beer or wine next time. They do have Allagash, woo! Food was also a bit meh. I'm happy though to continue to poke around the seafood menu to find something great. Service was the right balance of attentive and super easygoing, which I appreciate. Ultimately though, if you give me some boats and the Pacific, I'm in a total happy place! The ample and free parking is such a flex on Tony P.'s part! For that alone (and the view), I'm happily making this an easy breezy repeatable spot!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: it's located at the waterfront in MDR, with its own private parking lot, there are a large bar room equipped with TVs and full bar service on the right side of the entrance, a quiet and private room for large group on the left, then a narrow long sitting area behind these two sections, and paralleled with another spacious outdoor dining patio[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: very friendly and attentive, provided useful suggestion, served drink and food fairly quickly, cleaned the table adequately too Food & Drink: variety choices of all kinds of food with emphasis on seafood Bread - *** complimentary FISH AND CHIPS - **** White fish crisped to a golden brown, french fries, creamy cole slaw, house-made tartar sauce, the fish was great, crispy and fresh, however, the fries were so soggy and tasted old, I would recommend for the fish and substitute the fries for something else SEAFOOD PASTA - *** Fresh fish, shrimp, calamari, Prince Edward island mussels clams, garlic, fresh basil, marinara cream sauce, pasta linguini, light taste PEACH COBBLER WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM - *** average TUXEDO TRUFFLE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE - ** very dry texture TONY P'S - **** HOME OF THE MAI TAI whalers dark rum, captain morgan white rum, bols triple sec, bols orange curacao, pineapple juice and a few secrets. Very tropical taste and strong cocktail, recommend ORDERVILLE HAZE AMERICAN IPA - **** Modern Times Brewery, San Diego, CA ABV 7.2%, easy to drink draft beer, recommend Price: generous portions and reasonable prices in MDR, expect $50 per person

It's been quite a long while since I've been here for a meal let alone drinks. This visit, we stopped off for happy hour before heading to the airport. The whole property is quite big. Restaurant is along the waterfront of the marina with a beautiful view of the marina. There's plenty of parking in the lot. Both the bar area are quite big as well as the patio dining. Bar area, plenty of seating along the bar, loads of hi top tables as well as plenty of seating scattered. Menu wise for happy hour is limited but what they did offer was quite nice. We had the loaded potatoes skins, the buffalo boneless chicken, the ahi tuna sliders (more like crostini, and the steamed mussels. Overall, mussels and ahi were great. Portion wise for them was pretty impressive. Drink menu special is also offered for happy hour. Service was fast as we were still pretty early and majority of the people were seated along the bar.

Great seafood restaurant! This restaurant had a variety of foods ranging from seafood to Italian to the point it took me a while to narrow down what I wanted the most haha. First I had the complimentary bread and it's among the best complimentary breads I've even had at a restaurant. It was warm, crispy, soft, buttery, and lightly salted. So good. For my main, I got the crab and shrimp stuffed tilapia. It was good, big and moist. However, it did lack a bit in flavor and seasoning in my opinion. The veggies and side of rice pilaf were also solid too. As good as it was, I don't think I would pay $31 for it again. My table's server was also great. She was nice and playful. She was also patient when taking our orders and made sure my water cup was always filled. This restaurant is also at a nice location, by the docks.

Tony P's never fails because i crave this place every now and then. Their blackened cajun pasta is to die for and is the reason that I keep coming back. The drinks are spot on and the service is good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The piece of resistance, though is the ambience when you sit on the outside patio your outdoors, but you're inside and you have a beautiful view of the Marina.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's so beautiful during the day, but just as beautiful at night[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. You get the best of both worlds.... a great meal, great drinks, and a beautiful view. A must try if in the Marina area.

Steak that you want to stay away from.

5-star location, beautiful dock and boats; 4-star service. We were warmly greeted at the entrance by a gentleman whom I guess to be the manager. We appreciated it. But our waitress was not very attentive. We needed more ice water but she totally disappeared after we finished ordering. 3-star food. I ordered a medium cooked steak, but received it almost well done. See photo attached. It was very dry and hard for chewing. That is the steak you want to stay away from.

    The meatloaf.

The tavern at Tony's is my favorite sports bar on the planet. I live out of state, but have been known to fly in for big events. The service is always excellent. Paul and Ian are sports guys. They know what you want to watch and what channel it's on. The food is great, even if Tony won't make the meatloaf anymore. I've made lifelong friends on both sides of the bar and wish I lived closer. If you can't have a good time in this place, there is a VERY good chance you're an idiot.

Did people really taste the food before leaving their reviews? Stopping by here for seafood was a regrettable decision. The mussels had an unpleasant flavor dominated by tomato paste and overpowering spices. The shrimp dish tasted like it came from a can, and the margarita had a strange aftertaste. Service and ambiance were below average. Don't make the same mistake we did--there's nothing appealing about this place.

Came here last minute since we were stuck in ridiculous traffic to Huntington Beach, we were not disappointed at all. We only had to wait 15 min to get seated which wasn't bad at all and they sat us in the enclosed patio which was perfect to see the sunset and all of the boats! We had for appetizers: the potato skins, crab cakes and spinach artichoke dip; for the main course I had the Garlic shrimp pasta and as you can see that was enough for 2 days!!! I had to pack half of that for tomorrow!!! Our waitress was really sweet and was very attentive and made sure that we got our drinks and appetizers before their happy hour ended which I found was great because it's rare you get wait staff that would do such a thing! Definitely would like to come again!

Food: 3/5 Ordered a medium rare steak and got closer to rare. Veggies and steak very decently seasoned, though slightly bland. The flavors were generic, no herby accents, or strong hints of garlic. The bread was soft and buttery! Service: 4/5 Standard restaurant service, server was attentive though we were just doing a fast dinner so didn't have multiple interactions Ambiance: 4/5 Dimly lit, clean, though not much flair or soul Would love to see the marina views in the daytime next time though!

Belle's is located right on Venice Beach, which made al fresco dining very nice. We had a private bar as well as an array of appetizers. The servers and bartenders were very nice and accommodating. A group of us had the Marine Layer cocktail upon their recommendation. This cocktail was summery and tropical with heavy Japanese influence. The base was tequila. Yuzu and passionfruit provided sweetness and tang while elements such as mitsuba, chili, and lava salt added umami and contrast. Other drinks I enjoyed included their Mai Tai and Watermelon Margarita. I really liked the marg with Mezcal. The lychee spritz was also good. It was the most wine-forward lychee spritz I've ever had, but it was still very nice. The appetizers were delicious. I really liked the crispy rock shrimp, spicy tuna crispy rice, and yakitori skewers. The avocado toast needed a hearty sprinkle of salt and pepper, but other than that, the food was great. I had a wonderful time at Belle's Beach House. I would love to come back to try more cocktails and small bites.

For the World Cup, they've opened up their event space in the back which is not set up like a typical restaurant - but it was great for viewing! The screens are HUGE and very high-quality.

Listen, I understand being busy is one thing but blatantly ignoring paying customers that have been sitting and waiting to be served for 20-30 minutes after only ordering two drinks is strange to me. And then to come back and ask if we wanted to remove the items we already ordered without us having to bring it up just lets me know that you remembered all this time but chose not to serve us until someone had to go ask to be served AGAIN. Even other venues that are 5x bigger than this one have better customer service/attentiveness. We also ordered the bottomless mimosas and only got through 2 bottles because it took them 20 minutes to bring out the first one and another 15 to bring out the second one when it was asked for. And on top of that, they act like they're doing YOU a favor by bringing out the food & drinks that YOU paid for. I have never written a negative review before but this experience was awful; just a waste of money &, what should have been, a good time.

It's been there for some time, so there's a bit of grime and decay almost everywhere you look. And if it isn't exactly "charming," it's very comfortable and welcoming, with an ocean breeze blowing through the open, upstairs deck, and a friendly staff working hard to keep everyone happy. The upstairs patio area was pretty full when I arrived, but I snagged a seat at the bar and still got to enjoy both the view and the breeze. They have a nice selection of beachy cocktails (the gals next to me were drinking out of fresh-cut coconuts), and a quite a few beers on tap (with plenty of ice cold glasses at the ready). To get things going, I ordered a Don Julio tequila neat, and the pour was generous. I also ordered a Caesar Salad with Blackened Shrimp, which was delivered after only about 5 minutes. Despite the swiftness of the prep, the salad was quite good. Baby Gem lettuce, nicely coated with a creamy-but-not-too-creamy dressing that had a robust, garlicky flavor that was pleasing rather than overpowering. Yes, there were the ubiquitous croutons; but there were also quite a few fried capers, which added an appealing, extra layer to the flavor profile. The Blackened Shrimp that I added were small but plentiful, and very nicely seasoned, providing a solid smack of spice that contrasted well against the dressing. It really was a very good salad. The gals to my right were eating freshly shucked oysters that looked quite good. They must have enjoyed them, because they ordered another dozen. Across from me, a body builder chowed down on a great-looking burger, and everyone at the bar seemed to really be enjoying their food. The servers -- Lily and Arian -- were swift and chatty despite being pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. This isn't the fanciest place you can eat in the area, but it's certainly one of the friendliest, and definitely one of the most satisfying.

The place was jammed packed and the tournament has been a real shot in the arm for the area bars and restaurants. I sat at the bar and ordered the Manhattan Clam Chowder along with a pasta dish with chicken which as fine, but I have had better. The vibe was great because of the soccer and this was the most crowded I have ever seen this place since opening about 5 years ago. Rumors say the place is for sale, and one of the problems is that they constantly are changing the menu. The prices are a little steep, but that is the case everywhere as food prices have exploded and I have noticed couples sharing an entree versus ordering separately. The service is fine but the restaurant by now should have an established and reliable menu. I'll be back and this place caters to an under 30 crowd. RECOMMEND.

This also wasn't the first time. On several recent visits, the same customer sits in the corner working on his laptop while allowing his large black-and-brown dog to wander throughout the restaurant instead of keeping it close by. It made both friends and myself uncomfortable enough that we chose to leave each time. As someone who was attacked by a dog as a child, this is especially difficult for me. I actually have a dog of my own, so this isn't about disliking dogs. I completely understand that this is a very dog-friendly neighborhood, and I have no issue with dogs when they're leashed, supervised, and under their owner's control. I hope the restaurant returns to enforcing those expectations so everyone--including guests who may have fears, allergies, or simply prefer not to have dogs roaming around--can enjoy the space again. I've always liked this place and would love to feel comfortable coming back.
