We came here the morning after a concert. The ceviche de pescado was fresh and had more fish than veggies which is a win! The cóctel de camarón was tasty as well. My friends really wanted to try this place. There was six of us. It was not busy we waited 20 mins for a table. We ordered drinks and the waitress said she'd come back and get our order after dropping off our drinks. 40 minutes later they came to take our order. The food was decent. Some of the dishes were just kind of put together. Presentation was severely lacking especially for the wait. Not sure if they were having an off day but middle of the day on Monday not busy. Again the food was decent but the wait on a non busy day was really the why they scored low. I eat in many many seafood places and this is one of the worst. It was expensive which is fine if the food is actually worth it. I got a tostada de ceviche de pescado and camarón and I can't find the shrimp or fish . It has a bunch of cucumber tomato and onion no shrimp or fish. The lady that charged me was very nice. Michelada was good. Aguachiles are like whatever...Ceviche is not good at all. I thought it was pico de Gallo in my cup it was actually my tostada de ceviche. Also the tomato pieces were big, some lazy chopping there. If I ever go back it would be for the micheladas just because it's like 5 min away from my house. read more

Having been a patron of this place for so many years dating back to the previous ownership and formally known as mariscos tijuana it hasn't lost a beat. From the top notch quality seafood to the way they prepare it and cook it just a flavorful and fresh experience every time. The service and ambiance is just as good and provide clean and well kept dining area. The micheladas are tasty refreshing. One of my favorite local mariscos joints and a recommend place if your in the mood for Mexican style prepared and cooked seafood. You might just have a live trio on the weekends on a random basis. The service is great. They took our order and served us pretty quickly. The location is in a small shopping center, therefore parking is not always convenient, but I have gotten lucky the few times i've gone. I also love the selection they offer: ceviche, cocteles, aguachiles, and hot plates. I love the Marlon tacos (served like a quesadilla with cabbage and a spicy sauce on the side) and their aguachile (they have a few flavor combinations . The ceviche is not my favorite, it lacks some flavor, but they make up for it with other plates. Also, the portions for the pricing are great. The tostadas are pretty filling. I love their sea themed mural on the wall and the chairs with their scalloped backing looked like seashells. The dining area is definitely gorgeous. The relaxed nature really works for this place, but they're very efficient when it comes to their service. We got their surf and turf fajitas, chips and salsa and the camarones ranchero. The chips were crisp and fresh. The salsa was tasty with a slight kick. The ranchero was my fave. It was shrimp in ranchero sauce, rice and fried beans. The excellent reviews I read on Yelp were the main reason we went to this place. It was all that and more. I think we were the only Anglos in the place and lots of loud Mexican music. Our waitress was very helpful in suggesting menu selections. The menu items were in Espanol, but had photos to identify what to expect.
