You know when your beverage magazine publisher friend is having a great time at the bar, you picked the right bartender. Chad and company did an outstanding job at my wedding but it wasn't just the wedding. We did a tasting at their old Kailua location months (they have since moved) before the wedding with two friends, getting to try an absurd number of drinks. Courtney got us kind of hammered, but it was fun getting to try and compare almost two dozen drinks and that's after we had a heavy brunch. The final drink we tried, the espresso martini blew us away and the partner of the best man who came with us, basically ordered us to put it on our menu (she would later drink a sizable number of these at the wedding). She was right though, that is a drink you should absolutely get, but more on that later. Courtney worked with us and we decided on the Lemon & Ginger Bourbon Fizz, Strawberry & Bubbles (a modification of their existing Strawberry Nirvana drink), and the Espresso Martini. Anyways, Stir in the week or two weeks before the wedding, will get your approval for the invoice for the alcohol, which you then order from their preferred distributor at wholesale prices or source the alcohol yourself. It is advised to pay for Stir to do the pickup, delivery, and storage from the distributor as it can be a lot of alcohol depending how large your wedding is. If you buy from Stir's preferred distributor, Fujioka's, they'll only refund unopened spirits, so be careful how much wine and beer you buy as that's not returnable. The day of the wedding, they setup, do a welcome drink if that's part of your contract, and proceed to serve both your signature drinks and regular cocktails. They'll even do mocktails for your non-drinking friends, along with regularly refilling ice water. Our friends had a great time with so many mentioning to my wife and I that they loved the drinks. We did go with about 140 large ice cubes, but by the time I got to the bar after family and groom/bride photos, those were all gone, so crushed ice for the rest of the wedding. Our guests loved the bourbon drink so much that they cleared out all nine bottles of bourbon and four of the five bottles of vodka for the strawberry nirvana drink. We went home with so many unopened bottles of wine as the signature drinks stole the show. We kept the espresso martini a secret until the thank you speech and Stir started making them right as our freshly made mini taro malasadas came out. Our guests drank so many of the espresso martinis, with some guests having three. I hope they were able to sleep that night. Stir Beverage! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We used them for our wedding at Lanikuhonua. From the start, Chad and Kara were very quick in their responses. We had a great initial phone conversation with Chad. You can tell he loves what he does. Once we confirmed with Stir, they set up a cocktail tasting for us which we loved! It's out in Kailua and we brought two of our friends and we just got to taste cocktail after cocktail after cocktail. It was really difficult to make a final decision. We eventually settled on the package with 2 signature cocktails, but since we were going to feature it after our dogs, we asked if we could include a simple third signature cocktail since we have 3 dogs. Chad said no problem! So we chose a 1944 Mai Tai, a POG mimosa, and a Mango Mezcal. Everyone LOVED our drinks. But if your guests don't want a signature drink, they do a full bar service too. They have different bar set ups depending on what kind of vibe you want for your event. Whichever you choose, they do it in an elevated and classy way. All our guests loved the bartenders and servers and raved about everything they drank! You provide the alcohol. You can order with Stir through Fujioka's or you can pick it up on your own with Costco. If you order with Fujioka's, Stir will arrange delivery. Either way, you can return any unopened liquor. From the first time booking them up until our wedding day the team was so responsive and accommodating to our needs. We were able to have a drink tasting to make our signature cocktails a few months before and we had so much fun trying everything. We first met Chad and the StirBev team at WedTalk, where we got to sample their incredible cocktails--and let me tell you, we instantly fell in love with their Mango Mezcal (Mezcal, Cointreau, fresh mango & lime juice, fresh black pepper, and a Hawaiian black sea salt rim). The flavors, the presentation, the style--come on, that sea salt rim?! We were obsessed. My husband and I kept saying we wished we could order this drink at every bar we went to. So, of course, hiring them for our wedding at Lanikuhonua was an absolute must. The StirBev team guided us through selecting 6-8 drinks, and at our tasting, we made small tweaks to our top three to curate our very own "His, Hers, and Ours" cocktails. We were beyond impressed with how they crafted drinks that reflected our personalities so uniquely. First of all, and most importantly to me as the bride, Chad made sure that my husband and I had a drink at our disposal at every moment of the night. He was also making sure that all the tables had all the drinks they could want and their glasses were full. His attention to detail and care for every guest set the tone for an unforgettable night. The Baby Piña (shaken piña colada) and the Climate Change (mango margarita) were the stars of the show. I literally didn't order anything else. The baby piña was the best piña colada I've ever had. The bartenders kept the energy high from start to finish. We allowed for shots and at one point in the night, I signaled to the bartender to start pouring out rounds for everyone and they got on it immediately while calling out to the crowd for a count. We booked Stir Beverage for our May 2025 wedding, and cannot say enough amazing things about their team! They were one of the first vendors we booked, because Chad really took the time to thoroughly explain how his team runs events and all the endless options and accommodations they have. Although they may be a bit more expensive than other vendors, it was well worth it. When we visited last year for our tasting, Nikki was so energetic and bubbly, and made us so many delicious drinks that we had to upgrade to 3 signature cocktails to have more! They also have a wonderful glassware selection, which made such a nice touch in photos and the overall guest experience. All of our guests raved about how amazing each cocktail was, and how they had never been to a wedding where there was never a line at the bar. Stir Beverage's team was so quick to bust out drinks for everyone! Following the ceremony, they had quickly made a ton of signature cocktails for people to grab, which really made it easy for everyone to be served quickly. I'd say we had a good mix of heavy and light drinkers, but we ended up going through most of our alcohol! We added maybe 9-13 additional bottles of liquor to our shop order, and ended up only returning 3! I will say we had a ton of red wine and prosecco leftover, so I probably would have ordered less since wine cannot be returned. We started booking vendors over a year in advance and we are so grateful that Stir was available on our date. We had the best experience booking with Chad and Kara. I mean where can I even begin with my review!? I had seen the pictures and heard the reviews, but Stir completely exceeded all of my expectations! When I was booking other vendors and they found out we were having Stir for our bar service, everyone echoed the same "oh we love them," or "oh yes they're great!" But those are total understatements! We decided to opt for two add on services, the coconut bar and the cigar bar. And OMG they were the talk of the entire wedding night!! We were suggested to buy only 10-15 cigars based on our guest count of 66, (we purchased 15) but it was such a hit, we honestly should have purchased at least 25 cigars. Not that we were given wrong information, we just had no clue our guests would love it SOOOO much! And they LOVED the fresh coconuts as welcome drinks!! These two services are a MUST if you plan on having a destination wedding. As far as service, I mean TOP TIER!! Nick and Chelsea were AMAZING! I'll call Nick the silent assassin, he was very sweet, and kind, and always made sure we had a drink (or shot ) in our hands. He would walk up to our table place a shot down, smile and walk away. We never once had to go to the bar trying to get a drink. Unless a guest wanted to drink or toast with us. They were VERY attentive from the moment we arrived for cocktail hour with our coconuts and cocktails, until the end of the night. And Chelsea was SOOOO much fun!! And again, so attentive and made beautiful drinks!! Our cocktails were GORGEOUS!! we noticed some of our guests hanging out at the bar, because they were just so much fun to be around! The service was 5 stars all around! I don't have a single complaint!! So being honest, we thought Stir was going to be out of our budget. We initially booked another bar service, for JUST bar. But after crunching numbers, it financially didn't make sense. I'm way overdue on this review but Chad and his team are amazing and went above and beyond at our wedding in 2022. When we were picking out cocktails, Chad asked for some of our favorites and overdelivered with the sample cocktails he crafted. He even traveled to our place to setup shop for tasting which was really convenient. Chad's daughter, Courtney, who also works at Stir told us Chad doesn't work events as much since his focus has been on the business side. But he ended up being there at our wedding and was always looking out to make sure we were taken care of. We never got to tell Chad how grateful we were he was there even though he didn't need to be. Cara, Chad and most importantly all of the members of the team who worked the day of our wedding were incredible. From day one, Chad was reaching out offering his services seeing if we were interested, even our planner told us how efficient and thorough their team was. We decided that we wanted to go with them. From the first call to every email exchange the Stir team was incredibly responsive, friendly and kind. We had many requests and specialty things we wanted at our wedding and they were more than happy to accommodate. We communicated with their team for about a year on and off through our wedding planner and they had a quick response time, always being helpful to whatever we needed. Not living in Hawaii and not being able to try sample our wedding his/her cocktails was incredibly nerve wracking for us, we left this in their hands, and they definitely did not disappoint. The drinks were delicious, our guests went crazy for them. We had a large number of guests at our wedding, and up until this day, we have had people comment on how friendly, helpful and efficient the entire team was. A couple of reasons why you should book stir, my grandma went up to the bar multiple times, they remembered what she liked to drink and her allergies, this was huge and memorable. They had a drink waiting for us at our lounge area when we signed our marriage certificate as well as a designated person to my husband and I ensuring throughout the night that we never had an empty glass. Chad and the team at Stir Beverage Catering made delicious and beautiful bespoke drinks for our wedding which will live forever in the many many photos everyone took of them. Our wedding planner found Chad and reached out to him in mid November of 2019 for our wedding in January 2020. He was very responsive and helpful with cocktail ideas and even helped us to source a coconut shucker and his wife cored pineapples for the specialty drinks - a tropical touch I highly recommend! The specialty cocktails, coconut, and pineapple drinks were exactly what we dreamed of and made our special day very memorable. I really had to grab the bull by the horns and dig my heels in to get more details to be able to fulfill the expectations and stay within budget. One of the best parts of our wedding was Stir Bev!! After booking the venue and our coordinators, Stir Bev was the next vendor we booked. After our first meeting with Chad, we already knew we wanted to sign with him. But I went ahead and spoke with other vendors just for comparison. I even contemplated adding the drink service to catering package to save a little money but I'm so glad we hired Stir Bev because the attention to detail and the quality of service and drinks were worth it! Chad's personality even over the phone was infectious. His passion for his craft shows through his communication, his website, his social media and from guest reviews. He was a great listener and responded to all my emails from start to finish in a timely manner. We scheduled a tasting but due to scheduling conflicts, we had to send our close friends instead to do tasting. Our friends were raving about the tasting visit with Chad and had a hard time choosing from all the cocktail options because all of them were so good! In the end, we ended up choosing Lilikoi Spritz (tropical flavors of Aperol, lilikoi, and prosecco) and Yuzu Dreams (vodka, lychee, and Japanese Yuzu). We and our guests absolutely loved the signature drinks!! Chad also made the whole process easy for us from offering to do alcohol shopping and accommodating last minute requests such as adding a second bar stand for the cocktail hour and providing refreshments prior to guests heading to ceremony. If issues came up, he always had an option which put us at ease, especially towards end of planning stage. Chad's entire staff was so friendly and professional! Upon my arrival to bridal suite at Kualoa, I was immediately greeted with a cocktail. After the ceremony, Chad greeted us with cocktails. His staff made sure we enjoyed the drinks the whole night!! Prior to me writing this review, I have already made a several recommendations for Stir Bev just from my guests telling other people about their experience. Stirr beverage truly made our wedding weekend! We were fortunate enough to hire them for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day and it was be best decision ever. Their drinks are truly out of this world and some of the best drinks I've had, not just at a wedding, but ever!! For our rehearsal dinner we had the Lilikoi Spritz and The Red & The Black. If you love aperol spritz then you will LOVE the Lilikoi Spritz. It was perfectly refreshing and not too sweet - I think I drank 4-5 of them that night. The Red & The Black was also a huge hit. First of all when I picked it I thought a black pepper margarita sounded odd but intriguing- I didn't try it in our tasting but was going out on a limb because I knew how good their cocktail making skills are. It was AMAZING! Who would think to mix strawberries and black pepper?! But YUM! Also not to sweet! We chose 3 specialty cocktails for our wedding day - Climate Change, Kiawe Smoked Old Fashioned, and the Mai Tai. All three were delicious! The climate change is hands down one of the best spicy margs but with fresh mangos - perfect! The Mai Tai was a crowd favorite as lots of our guests travelled in from the mainland. Their Mai Tai isn't an overly sweet or syrupy like many other places serve them but rather made from all fresh ingredients. Now for the Kiawe Smoked Old Fashioned - where do I even start?! My husband, who considers himself an old fashioned connoisseur, says that the kiawe smoked old fashioned served on our wedding day is his favorite old fashioned he's ever had! He also typically does not like smoked old fashions because of the overpowering Smokey flavor of most. This was NOT like most. The smoked Kiawe added an almost sweetness to it and the perfect hint of Smokey flavor without being even the slightest bit over powering! If you like old fashions you have go get this drink! Hands down the #1 feedback from our guests has been how good the drinks were! Stirr is not just another wedding bar service, they truly have a passion for mixology and service. I will be recommending stirr to everyone and anyone I know getting married in Hawaii and will 100% be using them again for an event in the future!! Chad and his team were unbelivable partners in helping us bring two of our wedding events to life. We had countless compliments from guests on how fantastic the cocktails were, the fun staff behind the bar, and the presentation of the final product (bar included). They also were super easy to work with - from the planning to the execution to the clean-up. My wife and I have been planning our dream destination wedding at the low camp location in Kualoa Ranch for over 2 years now due to COVID and could not be happier with Stir Beverage. Their website is beautiful and all the raving reviews across various social platforms made us select Stir for our wedding without trying any drinks! From initial booking. Chad from Stir is able to tailor a recommended alcohol purchase list based on the signature cocktails you would like for him to prepare for the wedding. Also with the challenging venue like low camp, Chad was able to recommend what glassware he would require for the service as well. Since our wedding was during the pandemic, Chad was very responsive and flexible to last minute changes to the guest count from new guidelines. During the wedding, I arrived at the venue and was able to meet Chad for the first time! He is a super friendly guy and was easy to talk to. All the guests were raving not only about the taste but also the presentation of the drinks. We had an intimate wedding with 25 people and I never saw a line for the bar. Chad was able to single handedly whip out delicious and beautiful drinks to everyone. He does have additional bartenders for large groups but the service was just spectacular. Not to be biased as this was our wedding day but Stir provided the best cocktails we have ever had! You can go with your standard "rum and coke", "vodka sodas", etc. but Chad goes above and beyond with all kinds of "surprise' drinks which I do not know what or how I can have it again to this day! Chad and the Stir beverage team are truly the best of the best. Every little detail matters and you can tell by the presentation of every drink. Chad and his team were with us since pre-COVID and throughout our two postponements they worked with us, and supported us to make sure our wedding day was just perfect when it finally got here. Chad came by for our signature drink creations at our home and crafted a "his" and "hers" drink that was customized to our liking. I chose a Likikoi marg (of course), and my husband chose a smoked Kiawe wood old fashioned (yes- they actually smoke the wood for that flavor!) We received nothing but top notch service and friendliness from beginning to end. We hired their service for our rehearsal and reception, and we received so many compliments from our guests about not only the drinks, but the quality of service and staff. Everything from the his and hers sign, to the presentation of the bar and drinks were all considered by Stir. I also greatly appreciated the Stir staff coming up to my husband and I personally to give us our his and hers drinks to kick off our evening of celebrating- they just went the extra mile with everything they did. Given how busy you get leading up to the big day, we felt beyond confident that Chad and the Stir team had everything under control and planned to ensure a smooth day of event. You literally can't ask for a more professional group- not only that, you'll likely walk away from the bar with a new friend on the island- they are just fantastic in every way.. we really can't recommend them enough! read more

Stir was the perfect beverage vendor for our wedding on Oahu! Our guests loved the custom cocktails that we created with their help. They're professional and responsive and the entire process was really easy. The bar was visually stunning and the bartenders were really friendly.
