These guys aren't your boring, well drink, red-bull and vodka sort of crew. We partnered with Patrick and his team awhile back because we were looking for someone who could pull off a more elevated experience. I work for Ezekiel Clothing and was tasked with putting together the after-party for a collaboration we were doing with WAX Magazine and the LA Art Book Fair. In our first chat I told Patrick what we were going for. In an ideal world our event would have: craft cocktails served to 200-300 people, no lines, and a small bar set-up. Sort of an impossible proposition, but the solution Patrick helped us come up with worked great! They put together two awesome premium cocktails made in a two big batches. It ended up being less than what we'd have paid for your typical wedding-esque set-up and people loved it (everything was drained, except a few bottles of red wine). Stir It Up recently provided the bartending services for an on-campus concert at Occidental College, and we couldn't have been happier with Patrick + Josh! Punctual, professional, knowledgable, friendly; more than we could have asked for. Patrick arrived early to set up an LED Light Bar, which added a tremendeous amount of ambience to our event, as well as a jockey box/co2 tank for serving our keg. He was happy to address any questions of ours, and thoroughly explained how everything worked. Patrick took care of everything as the rest of our team was running around getting ready for our concert. Then Josh, the bartender, arrived, on time and ready to work as well. He was charming, accomodating, and had the knowledge/skills to make the most of our beer keg. Stir It Up recently provided services for a wedding that I was coordinating. I really enjoyed working with Patrick- he was personable, friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job keeping the line moving and kept his work space tidy.The client originally ordered a simple portable bar, but Patrick gave them a free upgrade to the LED bar for no add'l charge! Patrick also handles the crowd well... when they got too wild at the end of the night, he approached me to ask if we can shut down the bar because he was concerned about people drinking and driving. He also personally delivered all the left over alcohol to the couple's house so that no one would continue drinking at the venue. Hired this service for a business event my company was hosting. Not only did he provide the bartending service he also provide the thong he calls "The program" which is basically your one-stop-shop. Patrick had great customer service and was always available to help me with any questions I had leading up to the event. 100% recommended. Stir It Up recently served at our wedding reception and we were super happy with Patrick. He's down to earth, on time, personable, and his pricing is very fair. We supplied the beer and wine (& coffee/tea) and he also surprised us by sharing a special (and delicious) cocktail he had made for an event the night before, which was super yummy and popular with our guests. I also want to note that we were married at a county-owned venue in OC which requires all vendors to supply insurance and jump through a lot of hoops to get a special event permit. A week before the wedding, Patrick stepped in when he realized the county had made an error in their requirements for his services which ultimately saved us almost $100.
