    Seasonal oysters
    Inez G.

Breaking news: ladies night can happen at anytime during the 24hr cycle and we decided today it would be midday! Enjoyed delicious whipped feta dip and parmesan white truffle fries for the appetizer and half dozen seasonal raw oysters at $3.50/ea. Our server was very friendly, checked in regularly and made the overall experience incredibly delightful. The weather was also perfect allowing us to dine on the patio and people watch. 10/10 highly recommended and cannot wait for the next oyster craving to return!

I'm so glad I didn't walk out of STIR! Honestly, based on some of the pictures and presentation I saw on Yelp, I was literally about to leave. But then I had the pleasure of meeting Carde, and he completely changed the experience for me. Carde was the definition of what a great server and bartender should be. From his recommendations and knowledge of the menu to the conversation, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality, he made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. He encouraged me to stay and give the restaurant a chance, and I'm SO glad I did! I ordered the hot goat cheese ravioli and steak, and my friend had the chicken caprese. Everything was flavorful and enjoyable, but honestly, Carde was the highlight of the experience. His personality, service, recommendations, and hospitality made such a difference. Sometimes a great server can completely change your perspective on a restaurant, and Carde absolutely did that for me. STIR, you have a gem on your team! Please recognize this man because he deserves his flowers! I was about to walk out, and I'm so glad I stayed. I'll definitely be back, and I hope I get Carde again!

Stir absolutely delivered for our group couples date night, and a huge part of that was our waitress, Sereena. From the moment we sat down, she set the perfect tone -- warm, attentive, and somehow always one step ahead of us without ever feeling rushed or hovering. With a larger group, service can easily fall apart, but Sereena kept everything running smoothly. She kept track of everyone's meals without missing a beat and made thoughtful recommendations when a couple of us were torn on what to order. Now, the food -- wow. The raw oysters were fresh and beautifully presented, the perfect way to kick off the evening. The lobster crab cakes were an absolute showstopper; perfectly crispy on the outside, rich and packed with flavor on the inside. And the cocktail menu? Seriously impressive. The variety of crafted cocktails had something for everyone in our group, and every single one was expertly made. Sereena helped guide a few of us through the options and nailed every suggestion. The atmosphere was perfect for a night out, but between the incredible food, creative cocktails, and Sereena's exceptional service, Stir has earned a permanent spot on our date night rotation. Ask for Sereena -- you won't regret it!

A group of seven of us visited this restaurant in celebration of my nephew's recent engagement. My niece made reservations for us to get to know the bride to be. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and professionalism. Our table was not yet ready as we had arrived a little early, and the others had not yet arrived, so we waited in the lobby area. Once our table was ready, the server escorted us to the table. While she was escorting us, one of the ladies slipped and fell on the floor. None of the staff came to her aid, but someone did go and get the manager, Brandon. The manager stopped by to check on the person that fell after we got to the table. After we had someone wipe up the crumbs that were on our bench, we ordered a variety of dishes and drinks and enjoyed each other's company. Our server, Cordo (sp?), took care of us and answered any questions that we had about our meal. Everyone enjoyed their food. All dishes were proportionate for the cost. I had the Stir Chopped Seafood which was flavorful, refreshing, and light on the stomach. Besides the unfortunate fall at the start of our visit, we still managed to salvage our celebration.

What can we say about this place that hasn't been said before... the service here was EXCEPTIONAL! We had the pleasure of having Savannah as our server today and cannot recommend her enough. She came to our table with such grace and poise. The new seasonal menu had these beautiful oysters that blew our minds! Excellent food, beautiful views and the service was out of this world! We will be coming back again! Please ask for Savannah! She made our very first experience so wonderful.

Nice place for brunch Inside was bright, you would think it would be noisy because of all the people- it was pleasant. Plenty of seating. Our server was friendly, nice and got all of our orders correct. She kept out waters and coffee filled. I had the eggs Benedict- it was good a little sweet for me - still tasty! Parking lot was spacious.

STIR never disappoints. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the steak and eggs with fries and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and flavorful, the fries were crispy and seasoned just right, and the eggs were cooked exactly how I like them. The atmosphere is always fun and welcoming and the service was spot on from start to finish. If you are looking for a spot with great food and a great vibe STIR is definitely the place to go.

It was nice evening out. I was anticipating ordering Mexican ceviche but to my disappointment it was no longer on the menu. Hibby had the steak frites and I ended up with lobster crab cakes. I ate. Everything was just so-so. But the service was excellent! (Lindsey)

I have tasted the fare at many of the restaurants at North Hills, but this was my first time at Stir. I came here to grab a quick lunch with my daughter. There is ample free parking nearby, so finding parking was very easy. Walking up to the restaurant, I could tell that they were intentional about curating the vibe. We were seated outside. The decor lends to a chill, casual, trendy vibe. The seating was comfortable with brown bar top tables and periwinkle stools. Very chic. The menu is pescetarian friendly with numerous options. I ordered the Mahi Poke bowl and my daughter ordered the tuna poke bowl, but substituted the tuna for salmon. Our server, Shyann, was very flexible. Tge assistant manager also came by to ensure our food and service was adequate. We both received ample portions and the food was seasoned well. Although Stir boasts an oyster bar, we did not indulge since oysters are not in season. We will be back for their craft cocktails, which is another thing they are known for. I highly recommend this restaurant for its vibe, food, staff, and easy parking.

Stopped by Stir on National Oyster Day for their $1.50 oysters. A little gritty but they tasted fresh, especially with the cocktail sauce and vinegar. The truffle fries were excellent, salty, cheesy and crispy. Also, had two rounds of French 75s, thank you to the bartender for the strong midday drinks!

I've been to STIR a few times and went last night for a special they had on their oysters for national oyster day. $1.50 each - which brought their house dozen oysters from $28 to $18. I will say, the staff was confused when I mentioned the special but finally someone was able to verify it was happening that day. My friend and I got the steak Bao to share - very good - but only 3 for $13 and the hummus and pita to share. Both were very good. She got the steak frites, which looked delicious. And I will say, I was intrigued by all of their entrees, which is why I will go back. The oysters were good - if you like oysters, you will like these. I don't know if I would have paid $28 for them so I appreciate the discount. I know they have an extensive menu of fun cocktails but I just got Prosecco. Parking is what you would expect in North Hills - a bit of a hassle but there is plenty of it in both parking decks. Just have patience if you come around 5:30 any day of the week.

    Shrimp & Grits

Came here with some friends on a Saturday night. We made a reservation, which was good thinking because the place was packed. This was my first time here, and I ordered the Shrimp and Grits as well as the mocktail they had as a special. Both items were delicious! The food portion was very good. I had a lot to take home. The waitstaff were very nice and attentive as well without being overbearing. We all enjoyed our meals and I would highly recommend this location if you are in the North Hills area.

STIR was a great overall dining experience with a few minor areas for improvement. The valet on site is a huge plus and makes arrival super convenient. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and the staff throughout the evening was welcoming and professional. The food truly stood out. Everything was flavorful, well-portioned, and thoughtfully put together. Highly recommend the broiled oysters, lobster crab cake, crab bisque, center-cut filet, and ahi tuna -- all were delicious. Even better, everything came out quickly and at the perfect temperature. Daniel was our server and he was fantastic -- very attentive, personable, and kept things flowing smoothly without being intrusive. The atmosphere does lean toward the louder side, so it's probably not the best spot if you're looking for a super intimate or quiet evening. One small hiccup: our reservation was initially for a standard table, but we were first directed to a high-top. After clarifying the reservation details, the hostess did correct it and seated us appropriately. Our booth table itself was clean, but the bench seating and the floor underneath could use a bit more attention. There was a piece of bread under the table (from a crab bisque -- we recognized it because we ordered one) that had been dropped and crushed, which likely hadn't been noticed during turnover. Overall, the food and service were strong enough that we'd definitely return -- just hoping for a bit more consistency on seating and table-area cleanliness next time.
