The tomato and burrata toast, on the other hand, was delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. It was fresh, tasty, and visually appealing. I'd definitely order it again. The only downside was that it took a bit longer than expected to come out. Overall, a good experience with great food and welcoming service. This was quite the luxury toast place! I came here near lunch time and it was not crowded. I even saw people studying/working here which was cool. The ambiance is quiet enough to work here. I think they also have outside seating. They have your order up front and the service was decent. They also offer a variety of drinks. I ordered the smoked salmon toast and it didn't disappoint. I also ordered the green tea açaí bowl and both were enough food for my mom and I. Their portions are decent and the salmon had a nice texture and was tasty. I loved the capers on it too. A great little spot in Westlake village. While it is a franchise, it's locally owned and you can feel it in the best way. We've been a handful of times and have always had a god experience. The coffees are great, a little pricey, but delish. I always get the vanilla latte half sweet and it's perfect. The toasts are super yummy and fresh - we've had the avocado toast, lox toast, and tuna toast. All of them have been great and full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I had the peanut noodles and they were SO good. To the point that I looked up a recipe to make a dupe. They have plenty of seating inside and outside for a great meetup spot. Everything about this place is 5 stars! I came here on opening weekend and was very impressed. I had never been to a Toastique location before, so this was all new to me. This location is in a perfect spot in a big shopping center so parking was easy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I decided to try some of the customer favs... the PB Crunch toast and the Avocado Smash toast (I added 2 extra eggs for protein). We absolutely loved both. Both tasted so fresh. I loved the bread they used too. But what blew me away was the presentation on the charcuterie boards! We also got some coffee drinks there and both were great. The service: the people were so welcoming and nice, even offered a sample of their juices, cold pressed, no added sugar, and delicious. Had an oat milk latte which was so velvety. My daughter summed it up perfectly: "I can see us coming here a lot." But here's why I really loved it. This place is a franchise, but it's owned by Katherine and Leon -- actual locals. Their kids go to schools near ours. Katherine runs a dental practice she's built for over a decade. Leon is LAPD. They poured everything into making this happen alongside their friends Alina and Dima, who came here from Ukraine after fleeing the war and are building something new for their family on a visa. Two families. One community. One big leap of faith. I loved chatting with all of them. They want to hire local high schoolers. They want to connect with schools and businesses in the area. The entire time we were eating our toast which was good but should have cost 8 or 9 not $15....we kept going over it like how much did we just spend and on what...? Workers were nice kids.
