She gives you the perfect amount of oomph and motivation to get you past that fatigue right when you feel like giving up. It's a quick 45 minute class that gives you the perfect amount of energy to tackle on the day. The use of weights is also something I've never done in a spin class which added to the feeling of a full body workout. I'm definitely looking forward to the next class...that is if I can recover in a week. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to walk for the next few days. Lol

Let me preface by saying "I don't do cardio" - I don't run and I most definitely don't spin. I've…read moretried it in the past a various different studios, big chains, smaller neighborhood ones, even ones like Barre Cycle or Yoga Cycle where you split the workout. By this point I felt like I gave it enough chances and it just wasn't for me. And that's ok. *Enter BeSpoke* I chose to try this studio because I work nearby and if you're like me, once I get home from work, I probably am not going to leave again to be active. Sign up was easy (online) as well as check in once you actually got to the studio. I don't know what I'm doing so I asked for him to set up my bike and even to clip in the shoes and the person at the desk that day (sorry I don't remember your name!) was super helpful. Class at any new studio, especially a workout you don't normally do, is intimidating, but I made it through my first class. And then my second class. And then after that I thought my office would enjoy the torture, err I mean cycling, so I ended up booking a private class! OMG TATYANA WAS THE MOST AMAZING HUMAN BEING. She helped me with every detail and made us feel extremely welcome the day of the class. She even had some refreshments for us! So sweet. Ok basically what I'm trying to say is GO TO THIS STUDIO. Even if you don't cardio or spin, give it a shot! All of the instructors I've taken so far have been great, Lynsey and Orlando to name a couple. I feel stronger and more confident only after a few classes. I don't do all the "moves" just what I can and I still have fun and get a great workout. The studio is located at Fig&7th, bottom level near the food court and across from Gold's. They have cubbies for your shoes and lockers in the restroom (this can get crowded for the after work people just FYI). They even have showers and some toiletries. I should mention that shoe rental is included as well as a sweat towel. They also have a water filling station or water for purchase if needed. No excuses! Super grateful to have had a really nice experience here and open up my mind!!! I guess I do cardio now ;)

This place is nice but maybe a little overrated…read more Jerry's not a bad guy and probably not a bad salesman. I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

Doing research to find a good place, I came across High Society and remembered my father had some great suits made for him there. Made an appointment and went in with my sons. Mr. Lim and Brandon were very welcoming and professional and clearly knew what needed to be done. The store is beautiful as well with a lot of gorgeous pieces on display. Mr. Lim did a bunch of measurements and said they would be ready in a week. We just picked the suits up and they look amazing! So many small details done right completely changes how the suits look. We are all so happy with how they turned out! Thank you so much, Mr. Lim and crew. Bespoke suits for me next!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience…read more The tailor presents himself as a designer, so I trusted him with several expensive pieces for alterations. Sadly, most of the items were damaged, including very simple tasks such as shortening T-shirts -- which were also done poorly. What made the experience worse was the lack of accountability: no apology, no professionalism, and an overall rude attitude from both the tailor and the staff. The focus seemed purely financial, with no respect for the client or the garments. The team appears inexperienced, lacking both the technical skills and the understanding that tailoring and design are crafts that require taste, care, and respectful communication -- not just tools and prices. I strongly do not recommend bringing valuable pieces here for alterations, and I would not advise learning or training with them either. Design is an art, and customer service is part of that art -- unfortunately, both are missing here.

My friend Sylvia talked me into getting fitted for custom suits…read more For context, this is extremely out of character for me. I buy my suits from Banana Republic Factory Outlet and Nordstrom's Rack. They don't fit off the rack because I have a long torso and stubby legs so I usually have to get the pants hemmed at the cleaners. I'd say all in, the most I have spent is a few hundred bucks on a suit. I scoffed at the idea of custom suits because I'm doing just fine off the rack. Yes, the pants are loose in the waist and a smidge tight in the thighs, but I endure this because it's always been my plight. Sylvia convinced me that custom suits would be life-changing. I love and trust my friend Sylvia on most matters -- but this was not one of them. I'm in my fiftieth year and most of my life altering (see what I did there) moments are behind me. Sylvia and I were in LA together speaking at a conference and it just so happens her suit designer is in the LA area. So I acquiesced and went for a fitting at Rocky's Custom Clothes. First of all, I had absolutely no concept of the decisions I would have to make during this fitting. How do you like your collar style? What buttons would you like? How do you prefer the cut of your suit? Jacket length? Jacket style? Pant style? The list goes on but I'm exhausted typing it. After I picked out the foundational basics, we moved on to colors and patterns. Sapna (the designer) brought out books and books of fabrics and I had to choose the suit patterns, liners, and the trim for my shirts. This is not for the faint of heart. I'm pretty decisive but there are thousands of patterns and colors and at one point, I walked away and stress ate 7 toffee candies from the bowl in the shop. Fortunately, Sapna is an expert because she seamlessly (see what I did there) narrowed down my choices to a few so I wasn't overwhelmed. Her picks were perfectly coordinated. I settled on 3 suits, a blazer, and a pair of pants to match the blazer (for a more casual vibe). I flew back to LA to for the final fitting and made sure I told everyone that I was flying to LA for my custom suit fitting because that made me sound like a baller. Or a douchebag. Either way, I literally flew to LA for my custom suit fitting (squeezed in one more for effect.) When I walked into Rocky's, Sapna had one of my suits ready for me. It was like opening a present on Christmas morning because I couldn't recall what patterns we settled on during the original fitting because I was too exhausted from making decisions and eating toffee to take pictures. When I saw my suit, it was instant love. All the fabrics, linings, and trim came together in one glorious garment. I tried it on and it fit like slippery butter. All the years I fit into my suits were replaced by the suits fitting me. There is a big difference in that sentence. It's like fitting in versus belonging. Fitting in requires you to adapt while belonging is being perfectly you. I opened the jacket to see my very own name embroidered in the lining and I almost cried. The only downside to this is that I will probably stop strangers and open my suit coat to show them my name stitched in the lining. If you are on the receiving end of this, please don't press charges. Sylvia was right. Getting custom suits was life-changing -- but not because they fit great or because they are cool. They do and they are. Rather, it's about worthiness. I feel genuinely worthy of wearing a suit that makes me feel like I own the stage of my life. Thank you Sapna and Rocky's.

My significant other and I needed to have some patterns made for cosplaying at an upcoming convention, and Jenna was extremely helpful and friendly! First, her studio is located in a building with an underground valet parking, from which it was really convenient to get to her location. Her office was really warm and welcoming, with a lot of ambient light and examples of her work. She was accommodating with our appointments and our needs, and was really responsive through text messaging. Second, she gave us a lot of great consultation and encouragement in making our cosplay, and taught us a lot in terms of the things we need to think about when it comes to patterns and construction. She provided us patterns, extra pattern grading paper, and prototypes for the jackets we were making. The prototype sample jacket was actually one of the best fitting items I've ever worn! Overall, we were really happy with the professional services we were provided, in addition to her support, excitement, and enthusiasm for our cosplay! We will definitely keep in touch and come back in the future!

First off let me tell you that she is very deceiving. She won't answer questions over the phone which pretty much forces you to drive all the way to LA! I drove two Hours to meet with her only for her to tell me that she only speaks with people for free for the first 10 minutes... after that she charges $50 every 30 minutes cause she expects you to know what you want. Which is crazy cause that's the point of her being a pattern maker!!! In addition to that when we spoke on the phone I made it clear that we were designing hoodies and would bring 4 different styles for reference which she agreed to and said that was a good idea. So when we start showing her the hoodies (which over the phone she said are very simple to make) she starts telling us we need 3 different styles because her minimum to order is $500. She then proceeds to say, that it's too complicated and that it's going to be too expensive for us, when we made it clear that money wasn't the issue. She then said I can't do this it's too complicated. But yet she's the one that said hoodies were very easy and her flat rate was $180 so because it was such a small amount she expected us to order 3 once again we said ok. But then SHE decides that it's to expensive for US because each step would have a fee and it was going to get expensive and stands up and walked us straight out of her room and said maybe find someone else. I was so taken back by this and I told her this was very unprofessional of her. I told her I drove two hours for her to do this to us and I was very disappointed How she was behaving. Specially since I went with high expectations because I was referred to her by a friend who is a well know designer so I was excited. I had to call my friend and my friend was so embarrassed and apologized so much and said she would never refer anyone to her again. I would never recommend her and I usually don't do this but she really was just very unprofessional and the way she treated us was just very rude and seemed like she was just not willing to make a pattern for high end street clothing designs and much less for the people bringing it in.
