Visited Stix last week and looking forward to returning this weekend. This is a very modern restaurant which we loved, we were greeted and seated immediately at a high top by the bar. Our waitress was very attentive and very friendly, wish I could remember her name! But she was definitely an asset to this location. We ordered our food and drinks we were delivered in good time, we ordered a salad and the noodles, both meals were delicious but the blackened chicken added to both was absolutely amazing. Excellent food and excellent service. Amy took care of us (in the bar area). There was a huge concert going on and they were unbelievably swamped, but Amy was so good and sweet and checked on us often. She deserves a lot of praise for what she had to deal with. Brunch was overpriced and utterly underwhelming. "Belgian waffle" was little more than a cold Eggo. $12 Bloody Mary didn't have so much as a celery stalk. Biscuits were cold, hard little rocks. Wendy's breakfast burritos are far fresher and far tastier for 1/4 the price. Very disappointing experience. Our server put on a brave face and soldiered on while the back of the house threw her under the bus completely. Took more than an hour for food to come out and there was only one other table seated when we sat down. Avoid!! read more

Our first time we tried it (a year ago) all went well. Great backyard to eat, play games with kids, enjoy. Only problem is they didn't take cash in the backyard or take your card for a tab. Pretty frustrating, but I thought that part would get fixed. Now to this year in late June. All was going well. (Except they still had not fixed the tab with card) Small crowd in back so I knew they would take care of our order. I asked how I would get my food and the lady said "I'll bring it to you" No buzzer, but again, a small crowd. 45 minutes later no food. We went and asked and they said it would be here soon. The girl brought the food later. but it was the wrong order! 30 min later all are frustrated and hungry. Finally food showed up and was good, but we had to take it home. I really want this restaurant to succeed, but change the rules in the back on paying. It's frustrating. Also be sure to have the buzzers that show where the people are sitting. They look for the customers forever. Fix the kitchen for faster food. Prob better fix this before opening your new restaurant! read more

I was in Stix as a birthday guest yesterday 7-2-24 and I am not impressed with their patrons service. I placed a take out order for my granddaughter and was told it would be about 20 to 30 minutes to come back and check. I did return to be told it wasn't up it would be brought to me. It never arrived. I returned again 30 minutes later to be told sorry so sorry my order was given to someone else and it would be 30 to 40 minutes again. I was shocked at her response. You mean to tell me that chicken tenders takes1 hour and 30 minutes to prepare. I requested my money back that I would frequent another establishment that can fulfill a simple order. What was really insulting is that the manager who was told about the incident had to use her key for the return. She never showed her face or apologize to me for the lack of service. AND this is suppose to be the classy restaurant of Ludington. Yes Stix is a nice restaurant however atmosphere doesn't account for service. Last year we as a family decided that we were not impressed with Stix. The incident that determined our families opinion was; you are enjoying sipping Jack Daniels with your meal only to find out that on your bill that you have been charged $2.00 for your ice cubes and so has everyone at the table sipping Jack Daniels. What an insult to the patron, any drink coming from the bar has ice cubes. You need the extra revenue start charging everyone the $2.00 cube service fee. Tacky. First of all, we visited the bowling side of Stix a year ago and had a great experience. This review is strictly based on the restaurant side of this establishment. While the atmosphere of Stix was very nice, the positives end there. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon at 1:15 and while our server greeted us within 5 minutes or so, she was very inattentive after that the entire visit. It took 45 minutes just to get the one appetizer (chicken quesadillas) we ordered and that was after we had to make eye contact with her while she was just hanging out at the hostess stand. Once we finally got our food after an hour and a half, it was average; definitely nothing too special. While waiting, however, we looked around the packed restaurant and only one table actually had food so it seems as though it was not just our server that was the issue - at that point there was literally no server in sight. The table of 2 that sat next to us sat for over 25 minutes before a server even acknowledged them. Our whole experience took just over 2 hours, which even on a busy afternoon most places, that is unheard of. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, we will not be returning to this establishment as there are so many other great options in Ludington. It would be highly recommended that the wait staff here is better trained for their position and perhaps more chefs hired if that was the issue with the delay of food. This COULD be a great place to visit if there were a major overhaul in the restaurant part. read more

Our food was good. The service was good. Our drinks were good. The big problem was the blinding sunlight coming through the window! We literally had to use the menu to block the sun so we could see each other. It appeared to be a problem for half the restaurant. But, we did get a cool rainbow on the table. read more

Cool place to hangout especially if you have a large group. Always nice to listen to live music. However, they are NOT READY to handle the the large amount of people in their back Biergarten. The lines for food and drinks were insane yesterday (Friday night). We were there about 6:30-10pm, got in line for food at their BBQ food truck at 7:30 and waited over 1.5 hours just to place my order. Then it was another 15 min for our food to come up. The food was decent but warm. I had the hamburger - bun was super dry and needed to drink water to help swallow it down. The fries were very good. Probably the only thing I ordered that came out hot. Overall, come to hang out, enjoy the ambience, but don't rely to heavy on the food. They have some stuff to work out. I hope they do because love seeing the old bowling alley back up and running! read more

Woof. 1 for 5 on our meals. My wife's burger was cooked perfectly and she really enjoyed it. Everyone else did not like theirs. I can only review mine though. I had the $35 ribs, and what I got was three day old warmed up overcooked garbage. My mother was paying so I dug in to not make her feel bad. These were ribs I wouldn't serve a dog. Not joking, parts of it were like rock hard jerky. The mashed potatoes and green beans were great and you could tell were made that day. The restaurant is cool inside but it doesn't seem like a place run by people with restaurant experience. read more

I love Stix! The service is always so friendly and attentive. I have tried several items off the menu and nothing has disappointed. The fish is FRESH and amazing. I love their Stix Pizza appetizer. The fries are to die for and they make the best Long Island Ice Tea I've actually ever had no matter who the bartender is. The restaurant itself is beautiful with some awesome boats suspended from the ceiling! Must see! Also there's plenty of seating indoors and out. Not to mention they have a bowling alley. Epic place. Fantastic food! There were 4 of us and all of our meals were delicious! I had the tuna bowl with raw tuna, rice, veggies, avocado- terrific! The tacos were beautiful and I heard delicious, grilled shrimp were great, calamari appetizer. My Hendricks martini was perfect. Service was excellent. And the prices were right in line. My sister and I waited to be seated. Then waited and waited for a waitress to come to our table. Told her we were ready to order also. Then we waited and waited and waited for our water. Waited, waited, waited for our food, which was brought by another person. My crab cake was cold and the bacon on my sister's sandwich was cold. Her fries were cold too. No one came to check how things were. Never saw our waitress again. No one brought our bill so we had to figure out what our bill would be and leave cash. Beautiful restaurant and interesting menu and beautiful food presentation but with the lousy service we will not be back. read more

Then I watch ppl get seated and booths open up while my family and I wait for almost 40 mins. We were there at 6:30pm and there were only 4 other tables in the restaurant. Props to Dr. Reimer for saving the bowling alley (which was totally packed - we will be back for bowling).
