I also tried the Lucha Rosa Margarita, and whew...it was SO bomb. It was as pretty as it was delicious, which is always a win. The service was great from start to finish. There wasn't a hostess at the stand when we walked in, so we grabbed seats at the bar. She greeted us shortly after, and our bartender was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions about the cocktail menu. His recommendations did not disappoint. Pricing felt comparable to other rooftop bars in the area, maybe just a touch higher, but nothing unexpected for the location and atmosphere. Speaking of atmosphere...the rooftop is gorgeous. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both beautifully designed. We got beef and chicken tacos which weren't great but filled us up since we were starving.

It was so rare, that it was extremely hard to cut through, but again, who was I going to talk to about it. No wait staff would even look my way. I couldn't even get a refill on my water and there is no place in the app to order a glass of water...so that's that. Unfortunately it was just an extremely bad experience for $40. I'll be looking for dinner somewhere else tomorrow night.

But maybe that's better for them too. You can order to-go at the window and/or request a spot in the limited spaced dining/bar area. I've only gotten the Sub Club the few times I've gone here but what can I say? its a fail proof staple that is hard to get wrong and that they do very right. I often pair it with one of their drinks, this time being the spicy ginger ale which was solid as well. There's really not much place to dine-in if you're trying to dine and go - I recommend only using the dining area if you're solo, a couple, or part of a small group (at MOST maybe - a hard maybe - on 4 people) and only if you want to use the bar. One couple tried to squeeze in a baby stroller into the bar/dining area. Its really not suitable for things like suitcases or strollers so if you're in that camp maybe try some other spots because that also made a tiny space all the more difficult to navigate. Also, if you have a mobility device, this might not be the best spot for you either. I've never used their restrooms before so can't comment on that one. I still will say it is good for when you want to grab and go - so if you're in that category, and you like moderately priced sandwiches (for this part of town) this might work for you.

My wife and I went to STK in Washington, DC, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We originally went because we saw the steak special advertised on their website, but we ended up taking advantage of the happy hour menu and tried several different items. Everything we ordered was enjoyable, and it turned into a really fun dining experience. The highlight of our visit, however, was our server, Jasmine G. It was only her third day on the job, but you honestly wouldn't have known it. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us quickly, was attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. Our food came out quickly, and she genuinely made us feel like our anniversary was important to her. We had actually gone to another restaurant the day before where we felt completely overlooked and weren't even properly acknowledged. That experience made us appreciate STK even more. The difference was night and day. Jasmine showed us what good customer service looks like by being attentive, welcoming, and simply caring about us as customers. For dessert, we ordered the warm cookie, and Jasmine went the extra mile by having "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate. She also surprised us with two glasses of champagne to celebrate. Those small personal touches meant a lot and made our anniversary feel special. Because Jasmine was only on her third day and still managed to provide such great service, we made sure to let her manager know how impressed we were with her. Me and my friends visited STK on 9/28 for a birthday brunch celebration reserved for 10 people. Upon arriving, they did not allow us to asking that more of are party needed to arrive first although 7/10 of us were there. After waiting for several minutes we were finally told we could be seated. Once seated we were greeted by the bartender of whom I found out was also my server. She was extremely nice but seeing as though she was doing both jobs, there were delays in our service which she is not to blame for. Once we received our food, things were missing, prepared incorrectly, and delayed. A conversation regarding our experience and a percentage was taken off but there was an item that should have been removed completely in which it was still on the bill. The assistant manager unfortunately had an attitude and very rudely described how she is not able to remove things from the bill but will make an exception. Her attitude was horrible and could have ruined our brunch. To Ana (I believe that was her name), our bartender- I'd like to say thank you and great job. I would advise some leadership training and coaching for the assistant manager and training to the cook staff although the chef was extremely nice and apologized for the mix up. 2 stars are for aesthetics and the bartender :) read more

The Lil' Burgers, in particular, were my favorite part of the entire meal--perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. For sides, we chose the **Mac & Cheese and Sweet Corn Pudding**, both of which were delightful and complemented the meal well. The **Apple Pie** for dessert was just okay--nothing special, but it got the job done. The biggest letdown was the **Ribeye**--underwhelming and not nearly as impressive as expected. Given STK's reputation as a steakhouse, I anticipated much more. On the other hand, the **Filet** was well-received by others at the table, so perhaps that's the better choice. Overall, I'd rate STK DC a **6/10**. While some dishes were excellent, the steak--the supposed star of the show--fell short. I recently dined at STK Washington DC inside the Marriott Marquis and left extremely disappointed, especially considering the price point. I ordered the 10 oz. Ribeye with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and two margaritas. When my steak arrived, it was barely warm and had no sear. After speaking with a manager, I sent it back. While waiting for the replacement, my sides sat at the bar and became cold, forcing me to ask for them to be reheated as well. What made the experience worse was the lack of any genuine apology or concern from management regarding the issues with my meal. To add to the frustration, an obviously intoxicated woman sitting nearby reached onto my plate and took one of my asparagus spears. Not only was this inappropriate, but it also created an uncomfortable and unsanitary dining experience that should have been addressed by staff. For a bill totaling approximately $225, I expected much better. The only highlights of the evening were the margaritas and the exceptional service provided by the bartender, who was professional and attentive throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the food quality, management response, and overall experience did not justify the cost. I expect much more from a restaurant with STK's reputation. I will not be returning. read more

so we ended up at this restaurant bc we met Danielle who is an employee and he highly recommended this restaurant. he told us to be sure and have Patrice make our drinks and eat supper there. he did not steer us wrong! Patrice was AMAZING, charming, beautiful and did I mention she made the best drinks?! We just told her the drinks we were considering and had her choose the drink she recommended and she hooked us up perfectly! She was adorable and we appreciated her. It took 30 minutes before anyone came to take our order. While someone initially offered us water, they never returned with it, which added to the growing frustration. What made things worse was watching a couple who arrived after us get served before we were even acknowledged. Food 5/5 Honestly this was the single best steak I've ever had, was that because I shilled out for the Australian Wagyu... Maybe. But at the end of the day, I can't find any faults in any of the food I got during my stay here. Service 5/5 Don't listen to the morons who have service a low score, the staff were very attentive and considerate of us, I suppose if you're turned off by human interaction... Go get some friends. Our server was amazing and her name was Riche Ambiance 5/5 Surprisingly good hearted and casual given the price tag. A simple button down shirt and some darker clothing is all you need. The color scheme and lighting was great with a mix of white, black, violet and pink colors (although said pink may be for the upcoming cherry blossom festival). Food isn't close to worth the freaking price no matter what city you're in. I really can't understand why you would charge $41 for a 6-8 ounce canned and underseasoned crab cake. I understand even less why they used .5 ounces of saffron with mustard cream that tastes nothing of mustard other than to jack the price up because honestly other than looking pretty, you added $15 to my plate for no reason. Adding $7 to a steak to dry rub or add pepper??? Who in hittlers blessed ballsack do they think they are? For the quality of the food, I'd rather hit a freaking cracker barrel. At least they don't charge for pepper. If your paying $200+ for dinner it would be nice to see and hear the person across the table from you. Not here! I was invited to STK to dine on opening night and I have to say it was a great experience, I've only been to a few steakhouses in DC and I have got to say the ambiance here is unmatched, great vibes, lighting, and decor (Which my gf loved). We ended up getting the chefs tasting menu which came with too many things to list. We enjoyed everything! Especially the proteins which had some unique flavors to them, and out of all the dipping sauces I enjoyed STK's signature sauces best and the horseradish (lmao). When it came to service we came in just before dinner time so we were extremely well taken care of, since we had so many dishes they had to come take our empty plates often and did it very timely.
