    Chicken Finger Tommy
    Christopher M.

First time visiting and the quality of the food was great! I got a crock of the French Onion Soup (I have a rule that I have to try it anywhere I go) and it was very good! It was savory, flavorful, and not overly salty. The Chicken Finger Tommy (sub) was very good, not messy at all. I also had a couple Bloody Marys that were good as well. The service was a little slow considering it wasn't busy at all.

I have done a few pickup ordered here, but have never sat down to eat in. It's a pretty clean and classic looking bar, staff is always friendly and the food is great. I love their house salad. It's a huge portion with lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, avocado, and hard boiled egg. They have several dressings to choose from, but I love their ranch, I'm not sure if it's homemade or not but it's very good. This time I opted to get their French onion soup cup to go, I was nervous about how it would come out but it was surprisingly packaged well in a nice little plastic container. Soup was absolutely delish ! All in all a great place to get some good eats. And the prices are competitive to other similar places in the area.

I came here years ago for some drinks and appreciated the number of dart boards available but don't remember much else. Recently, I have noticed some groups gather here for games ... I know a group of ladies that they allow to play bunco here (of course, in return, one would be expected to order some drinks and/or food as a thank you). And during my dinner here, I noticed some other people circled around table playing games as well. I think it's nice of this place to give people a place to gather like that. As for me and my friend's experience, my favorite part was the service! Out waitress was wonderful - she was friendly and really great with timing. In addition, two other staff members checked on us as well! And the food came out quick too. The ambiance, although having a sizable menu and not just a tiny menu of deep fried foods, was really just that of eating in a bar - the music was loud and nothing fancy at all - which is great when you just want to be casual as heck! I ordered the pot roast with salad instead of soup; but my friend let me tried her beef on weck soup and it was excellent! The salad I wouldn't get again - although I absolutely appreciated that it wasn't iceberg lettuce! But the dressing they gave me was so small and it didn't have enough flavor for me either and the other toppings were lacking too and not distributed right so it was hard to get a forkful and a lot of pieces were just landing in the table lol and when I got a bite it was kind of like just eating dry lettuce (and i think spinach was in it). If you get the salad, I would ask for double dressing and maybe something other than the house Italian. But that's just me. The pot roast was decent. More than the meat, I liked the potatoes and gravy the best. That was my favorite part. It also came with carrots and a roll with some butter on the side (shout out for having spreadable butter by the way! I can't stand when it's hard!) It wasn't a bad meal At all ESPECIALLY for a bar! But I think I would try something else next time. For dessert we shared a slice of cheesecake. It wasn't very big, which was fine because we were pretty full ... it can come plain or you can have whipped cream and rasberry sauce too. This is the only dessert option FYI. Drinks (non alcoholic) are Pepsi products - but no Mountain Dew.

12.33 burger off the specialty burger.

Horrible experience with a male bartender ( older white male with grey facial hair, and a larger build. that was clearly tipsy as we watched him take shoots with customers and his behavior was off putting. I don't know his name as he didn't introduce himself. He actually was ignoring us. I got his attention and asked him to take the order of the gentleman behind me. I had orders previously and received my food. They have the regular menu and a one sheet paper menu with specials that were $12.33. On the paper menu are specials. I was well advised of all the specials by the lady bartender who actually came to me with a smile and courtesy and took my order. She gave me the differences between the paper menu and the same items on the regular menu. After which I ordered the Speakeasy 33 burger. It's a regular burger that comes with lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese and mayo. I had the option to add to additional items for free. I added avocado that's it. No additional item although I thought about getting an egg as the bartender told me that was also an option. It came with 33 chips or fries at no additional cost. I asked to pay for my food immediately. My total was roughly $13.51 and I tipped the bartender $5.00 bring my total to almost $19.00. Now back to the male bartender I told him that we would like to order the same thing I have as I pointed to my plate and asked for the speakeasy 33. The bartender said okay the 33. I said oh no not the 33, the speakeasy 33 ( as I pointed to the top on the paper menu) right here, this one please. He said okay like I said the 33. Because there was a special directly beneath the speakeasy 33 called the 33, I kept reiterating to the bartender that we wanted the item on the top of the menu, the speakeasy. After a little more back and forth and a horrible attitude he took the order and came back with a total of $15 and some change. The guy I was with paid and I said why was ures more than mine when you got the same thing? He repeated the same. We discussed that I would ask why the price difference. As the bartender returned in our area I called him over and said " I believe there was a mistake as he ordered the same meal as me and the price is roughly $2 more than mine. He told me it wasn't more, that he put in the right price, that I didn't know what I was talking about at which point I retrieved my receipt from my purse to show him. He refused to look at it. I stated either there was a mistake with my order or with his but there was clearly a mistake and could he please call over the female bartender that served me? He refused to and said he knows the menu and the bar. Long story short he charged the guy I was with for avocado and said we ordered a build a burger from the regular menu. We both stated that he didn't he said yes we did and he was going back and forth about it, that's the price blah blah and he was rude and disrespectful. Then he told us that he didn't charge him for the stuffed banana pepper. What? I said that's a totally different sandwich. That's the 33. And if we had ordered it you couldn't charge for it because it is a part of the sandwich. He said no its not! Hilarious! When I Read the paper menu it describes each sandwich. The gentleman next me and I as well as the lady bartender were discussing the 33 burger which is actually not a burger it's a steak sandwich that comes with a stuffed pepper between garlic bread. We discussed how he comes in and orders the same thing at least once a week. I noticed the female bartender say something to him several minutes later at which point he came over and placed money on the bar in front of the guy I was with and said this is the difference that I owe you for the avocado and walked away. The way I worded this review does not represent the audacity and rudeness off the male bartender. The one star review is because I had to leave at least one star. My experience on this night was extremely poor based off of the interactions with this male bartender. I was so annoyed I didn't eat my food. I boxed it up and took it home. I did take two bites at the bar and tasted the chips. The chips weren't seasoned at all the they were okay. The texture was good. Had they been freshly fried and hot they would've tasted better. The burger was kind of dry, more likely because I asked for it to be made well done. Not everyone can make meat well done and juicy. Overall it was a decent burger. I'd order it again. This experience won't stop me from frequenting this establishment, I just won't utilize the services of said male bartender.

    Homemade crab cakes

Came here for DJ Trivia playoffs and enjoyed drinks, dinner and trivia with friends. This is the type of bar-restaurant that's great for both getting drinks and American food with friends. Their menu includes several appetizers and entrees. They also have a full bar and several craft beers on tap. For dinner, I ordered a Sam Adams Cold Snap, the Beef on Weck soup, and the homemade crab cakes appetizer. My favorite of the three was the Beef on Weck soup which was award-winning quality in my opinion! It was absolutely delicious and spot on to what I hoped a Beef on Weck soup could be. The crab cakes were OK, they had a lot of breading in them. Service was quick. Our waitress came over right away to take our drinks and food order, and food came out quickly as well. This is the type of place I'd come back to, to hangout with friends for a drink and share apps.

Slightly divey in a good way. Food was delicious. Had the french dip and substituted onion rings for the side for a slight upcharge but cheaper than the full side order. Sandwich was great cheese was fully melted and the beef was tender. The au jus was flavorful but not overly salty. Ended up getting a bowl of beef on weck soup after I finished the sandwich as I had tasted my wife's and it was delicious. Decent draft beer selection. Service was good, they were busy due to DJ Trivia playoffs but the waitress still was able to stop by our table frequently.

Would not recommend for large groups or business events! Off the strength of their delicious chicken wings and late night availability, I decided to try them out for a work event. We had a small party of 15 guests and had reserved in advance. It was requested that we sent over dinner selections prior, which we did. However, it was terrible communication through the whole process. None of our calls were being returned to follow up after we had confirmed and sent over selections. When we arrived for the event, we were told there was no record of our reservation and the woman, Stephanie, who had taken the reservation had quit two weeks prior. As a result, we had to all order a la carte new items off the menu. The server for our table was really nice and apologetic. The wings were delicious as always, but for some of our party who ordered pasta it wasn't the case. I'm not sure if the alfredo sauce or what in the pasta wasn't good, but it wasn't good on the stomach for anyone. Still think they have great servers, but I would not do a large event again.

The service was great. They knew a lot about the menu and what was gluten free and not. The stuffed pepper on the appetizer were not too spicy and the blend of cheese was good. There were big portions we were not able to finish the dinner because of the soup and apps. It was live karaoke the night we went and made for a fun evening with the music. The tables were close together, so it got to be a bit loud but to expected for the type of restaurant it is.

It does tend to be a bit cramped when there's an event but weekdays are super laid back with a few customers at the bar. I love the themed menu that not only offers DELICIOUS cocktails, but also cider, mead, beer, etc, wine, non-alcoholic, and even cannabis drinks so there's something for everyone. I especially love that there's some snacks but they also allow outside food (and there's pizza next door!). It's become my new favorite and I'll be going back at least once a week for the next couple months.

The have a full bar with themed specialty drinks as well as hot loose leaf tea and small plates for a little snacky snack. The service was friendly, but quite slow... Especially since the bar was not particularly busy when we ordered. My friend got one of the specialty drinks, Bee Sting, made with Meade & draft cider, I got a hot tea and we split a fruit plate & nut plate. The water given with my tea was not hot enough to steep the bag; the bartender thanked me for letting him know and returned quickly with a fresh, hot, Halloween-themed cup. The fruit & nut plates had a good selection including banana chips, dried apricot, mango, cranberries, almonds, pistachios and cashews. They were the perfect amount for snacking while having a drink & gabbing. The bathroom was very cooly decorated with a skeleton on the ceiling enrobed in spider webs and a crow that cawed at me when I opened the door. I wish I would have taken a pic! Would I rush back, probably not; but, I would go back again if I happened to be in the area. It's definitely a place to check out at least once!
