Love the Mexican Lager at Stodgy!
    Alden C.

Stodgy Brewing is one of the newer craft breweries that have opened up in Fort Collins since I was last here to visit. Love the location here as it's close to the City Park area of town. One of my favorite parts of Fort Collins with many happy memories there. And I am happy to say that my experience at Stodgy just added to the positive memories of the area. I got one of my favorite lagers... especially for this time of year(Summer) the Mexican Lager from this brewery and enjoyed the light and smoky features to the beer. Then I did a shift and decided to try their gourmet root beer that was also made here and I really enjoyed that too. The creamy, vanilla features made this root beer a real charm! Wonderful outdoor seating area so if you are here when the weather is nice I definitely recommend taking advantage of that!

Had many recommendations to come here. Finally made it. I tried the Porter and my husband had the West Coast IPA. We shared a Dunkel. Delicious! It was Saturday so the inside was quite crowded. The outside has plenty of seating. I bet this is an amazing space in the summer! We will surely be back!

They have a really nice shaded outdoor area, and you can bring your dog. The beer was nice on a hot day. When we were there, there was a food truck, and we got jalapeño corn fritters. Also saw that they hold events during the week like Board Game Night.

It feels silly calling Stodgy the quintessential Fort Collins brewery, because aren't they all? But it really is wholesomely FoCo. I arrived by bike...and so did everyone else apparently. It took some finagling to find a place to lock up our two-wheeled steeds, but eventually we found a spot. I hope they consider putting in some additional bike parking eventually. Nevertheless, once parked, we found a great little spot on the lawn. We sipped our beers while perched on some tree stumps as the sun set behind the foothills, which were visible from where we sat and lovely as always. I'm pretty sure I got the Table Saison, but this was our third brewery of the day so forgive me if the exact details are a little fuzzy. What I definitely remember is that this is a cool place that attracts cool people. I'll definitely be back for a flight or another pint very soon.

This Place! So Good! We hit all the breweries in town, including the corporate ones, but this was by far the beer, best atmosphere. If we would have come here first, we wouldn't have went anywhere else!

Great beer and amazing space! We came here after it was recommended by a friend. It was a Thursday afternoon and we came around lunchtime. The space is awesome, with a little bit of private parking a plenty of neighborhood street parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered a flight to try a few different styles. The Helles and Vienna were good, but the pale ale and the hazy IPA were very good. The pale ale is a hoppy treat, with a clean finish and light sweetness that makes it extremely crushable and fun to drink...I'll be back for that beer alone. Most of the seating is outside, but the inside taproom is well decorated and comfortable. The neighborhood vibe here is maybe the best part. Nestled in this established area with many long-term residents will keep the place fun and appealing. I'll be back!

Having a beer outside at Stodgy's feels like hanging out in a friend's rather than a business. Beers are great and staff is always friendly. Love it!

Stodgy Brewing is a great little brewery in Fort Collins off of Laporte and Taft. All of their beers are unique and tasty. In my opinion, the real star of the show is their outdoor area. The front patio is super cute with rustic mountain town vibes. If you're looking to grab a beer with friends and enjoy a fun atmosphere, check out Stodgy!

Great local brewery and the best food trucks. Must try the pizza and Italian donuts. The outside seating is beautiful with a well maintained garden and plenty of shade provided by tree's. Good beer selection and friendly staff. I'd put Stodgy on the list of must see breweries in Fort Collins.

Saw this brewery being built a while ago. It's finally up so we decided to try it out! Drink menu was small but good. Just 10 beers, and food trucks throughout the week but no consistant food or snacks provided through the bar. Today's "food truck" was a table set out front with pastries which looked amazing, though I could have used a snack/dinner that wasn't desert. The great part about stodgys is really just their outside seating, theres tons of it and it is very aesthetic, it's really great they have a large amount of inside seating as well! Glad this business supports local food trucks and companies, will be back lots in the summer!

This feels like a Joseph Oregon brewery. Forest setting, logs, cabin, casual, outdoor space and dog friendly. Incredible. Beers are too young, but the Hazy IPA passes the test. A little expensive and lapse on COVID wipedowns. But the bathrooms are unisex , one big room with individual stalls, welcome 2020! Great job.

It's fun. A big outdoor patio area and good beer. Real laid back vibe. Good stuff. Real good stuff.

Prices weren't bad and it also has a piano bar but that's only open on certain days. Although I was surprised, it wasn't more packed for a Saturday night. But good for me and my friend, so it was easy to converse without a lot of noise.

The ambiance is really nice -- I enjoyed the speakeasy-type theme, and the fact that they have a record selection you can ask the bartender to play. These are actual records, with a lot of classics in the mix. The bartender was efficient and friendly, so no issues on staff. Honestly, the restaurant, ambiance, and service were all top notch -- level five. Happy hour cocktails were reasonably priced, and honestly that's the sweet spot here -- come in for nice cocktails at happy hour prices. I also had a couple off their specialty menu; solid drinks, but at $15 a pop they add up fast. I'd suggest getting in early, though crowding didn't seem to be an issue -- it still wasn't busy when we left about an hour and a half after sitting down. My bigger gripe was the food. Loaded tater tots (happy hour) -- fine. The ketchup and ranch that came with them were actually really, really good -- the sauces were the highlight. The tots just needed slightly longer in the fryer. Not undercooked exactly, they just wanted to fall apart and didn't hold up, which made for a messy plate you basically needed a fork or spoon for. Green goddess salad, $15 -- the biggest letdown. We were looking for something lighter since we weren't trying to get full, and on paper this looked really good -- but it didn't deliver. Way too lightly dressed for the arugula, and there wasn't much flavor unless you happened to get a piece of fruit, a piece of cheese, and the arugula all in one bite. It needed crunch -- some candied pecans or another nut would've been really nice -- and just more dressing in general. Too dry, and lacking something. Fifteen dollars for essentially some arugula, and the two of us only got through half of it. Other than that, the experience was pretty solid. Would recommend, and would return.
