The cigar selection is one of, if. It the best in Houston. There is a nice patio section to lounge and enjoy a cigar outside and nice leather couches inside if you prefer the indoors. Prices are a tad higher than I've seen at other places as well, but. It by much. The staff is very friendly my and welcoming too. Outstanding cigar Humidor. The Broadest selection of anyone. Although you won't find every cigar here, you could get lost for an hour or two just shopping. Pipes have a surprisingly quite nice selection however forget about pipe smokers supplies and tobacco - very limited supplies. Bathrooms usually clean and smoking area is quite large and it holds events quite well. My wife will come with me here and never complains about the smoke in her eyes although when they hold events she will tell me she rather be outside for part of the evening. Plenty of seating inside or outside on most days. ONLY Drawback to this spot is getting and leaving from it. It's located in same shop center as 'The PALM' (which I don't recommend) just a few doors down. read more

First time visit, drove out 40 minutes to check out the place. I frequent cigars shops often. but, this is the first shop I have experienced unfriendly staff. As we entered a young lady & gentleman was behind the register. Neither one of them spoke until we said hi & she some what smiled & he did not. The gentleman was nonchalant never acknowledge us nor did either one ever come & check to see if we needed any help. I had to go & ask for help & she showed us what we were looking. Last but not least, we were checked out by the young lady & the gentleman was behind the register & he still never said a word, smile, nothing. I must say their humidor room is large & nice. A fantastic selection at reasonable prices. No other shop has so many lanceros on the shelf. Their exclusive H-Town Lancero Series has some amazing cigars that've End up on Toasted Foot's Top Ten lists over the years. This is the shop to go to if your looking for the especially hard to find premium cigar (i.e. Byron, Opus X, God of Fire, Padron 50th, Tatuaje Monsters, Liga Privada, etc.) There is an over abundance of Rocky Patel, Camacho, Altadis and General Brands. What's especially great about the selection is the massive boutique collection (i.e. Southern Draw, Caldwell, Cornelius & Anthony, Espinosa). The staff is awesome and know more about cigar than your average tobacconist; they may be able to steer you in the direction of something new and interesting like the Byron, Cabal or Eiroa. The place has a great feel to it. There are tons of TVs, public and a private lounge, conference room, fridge with water/soda for a buck and free Wi-Fi. There is a down side, which is they don't carry Davidoff. Despite have the Camaco, Room 101, Zino, Avo and Griffins they are prohibited by rather dumb rules from carrying the actual Davidoff brand. Hopefully, this will change at some point. This is definitely THE cigar shop to visit in Houston...maybe even Texas! read more

Their main location on Westheimer is in my opinion the best cigar store in Houston. Now closing in on 2018 a good website should not be too difficult to master, and they are light years ahead of their competition, including Cigar Emporium. Their store layout is great and their selection is outstanding. I always feel welcome here, their staff is helpful and full of knowledge as well as tips and tricks that they don't mind sharing. The lounge is a nice touch. I also like that they participate in their community - not sure if this is a Texas thing- but I had to get their ONE LOVE package just for their initiative. It was early in the summer of 2014 and I had just moved to Houston from Los Angeles CA. I was sitting at the park across from the Hilton in the Galleria area, and a man walked up to me while I was smoking a cigar. He wore a stetson, alligator skin boots, and had a buckle larger than my face holding his suit pants up. He asked if he could smoke his lunch with me, asked if I was from California (it was fairly obvious at the time given my slothful state of dress), and then proceeded to tell me about Stogies World Class Cigars. I went a week later, and since then, have been going at least once a week since. This is, hands down, the finest store for cigars that I've found in the Houston area. The selection is great, the prices are fair, and the lounge is comfortably furnished with leather chairs and couches, multiple flatscreen televisions, and beautiful end tables. Most importantly, though, the staff are knowledgeable, and pleasant as you could want, while the regulars who stink up the place are routinely a great bunch of guys and girls. Owner Jorge deserves special mention simply because of his warm demeanor, welcoming presence, and masterful knowledge of the contents of his humidor. Outstanding service, outstanding atmosphere, if you're looking for a good smoke you should definitely try it. read more

I came here to buy some cigars for my dad for his birthday. I know absolutely nothing about cigars and that wasn't a problem. The staff helped me by picking a variety of cigars based on my budget and included some of his favorites. The guy that helped me clearly knew a lot about cigars which made me feel good since he was the one picking them. He even made sure to throw in a chocolate one that he swore I would love and he wasn't wrong. Great selection at a variety of prices. Very helpful staff. Cigar heaven. This shop has a selection of cigars double that of most shops I've been to. There are many comfortable seats, poker tables, and everything you need to relax. I also really enjoyed that the staff were laid back, welcoming, and helpful. I purchased a number of cigars and they let me return over multiple days to enjoy them without charging a cutting fee. Jorge said he wasn't at the shop right now but agreed to meet me later. And he did! Twice! I had to make some design changes and come back, and he extricated himself from a trip to the toy store with his kids to meet me: that can't have been easy or pleasant. He was so helpful, professional and kind. He genuinely wanted my project to turn out for the best, and he was willing to do whatever it took to get it there. Shop is about 4X larger and includes a VIP room with leather seating for about 25, four TVs, espresso machine, free Wifi, ice machine, beautiful lockers, and furniture. PLUS, 24-HOUR KEY CARD ACCESS!
