OK, so I need to be more timely with my reviews. We had a great time at USA 4 - 1 Paraguay on June 12; prompting us to make a reservation for match on July 1 (and my draft review that I forgot to publish). Arrived a few minutes early to a relatively open patio, just to be seated in a full sun location in the back . . . 20 minutes, but no server . . . out of this beer, out of that beer . . . tables for 2 arriving later put into much better seats . . . 40 minutes after drinks arrived, no sign of a server. Very poor, waited and waited the whole time, a total of 1 hour and 25 minutes, and we didn't even get a plate of food requested; had to end up canceling it. Also, they had all the menu items for chicken still available, but ended up being out of chicken. Our server also hardly ever came to us, and when he brought out drinks, he had his fingers inside of the cups... When we asked him about our food, he went and checked and said "they are in the window" and will be out any second, instead of bringing them out himself, which it in fact took another 10 minutes for the meals to actually come out. read more

Had dinner with friends before Tyler Childers concert, arrived early. Reserved table was ready. Service very slow. Annoying they asked to physically hold my credit card when I arrived after already having to hold reservation with credit card. Service was slow entire time with the place 1/2 full. Food options very limited for GF people in our group - no corn tortilla option for tacos and fajitas is an easy thing to offer. I ordered the brisket nachos and there were like 5 'bits' of meat, very disappointing. And then charged $15 for ranch water! Crazy. Great location but not a great experience. read more

I've been going to clubs/bars with security regularly for over a decade, and the experience I had at Stolen Saddle was hands down the worst ever--like so bad I was shocked. My partner and I were there for a ticketed event on 6/27 and when we approached the security guard for him to look in our bags, he straight up ripped stuff out of our bag (vape juice and a vape) and threw them across us into a bucket. I have no problem leaving things at the door if they're not allowed, but I've never had a stranger take things from me and throw them. He berated us for getting reasonably upset with how he handled our belongings which was entirely uncalled for. Also, I've literally never had any problems bringing my vape in anywhere. I'm an adult and know not to vape in bars, but apparently Stolen Saddle's regular clientele does not--unsurprising for Wrigleyville. Two stars for the bar having a good vibe otherwise, but the experience left us with such a bad taste in our mouth that we left shortly after. Went here last night for holiday drinks after Christkindlemarket. The first floor was packed, so went to the second floor bar and stood around until some seats opened up. Great choice of holiday drinks. The one I enjoyed the most was their spiked hot chocolate in their souvenir holiday mug. The server dressed in all red was great and very sweet. Before we left, she swapped out my mug for a clean one to take home. We checked out the third floor, but it was packed with a younger crowd. Came here with some friends over the weekend and quickly realized it was the Mustache Bar Crawl....It was PACKED. The service was very accomodating, especially when considering the crowds. However, that was about it when it comes to positives. It was hard to navigate, Lines everywhere, and honestly not incredibly enjoyable. No matter the name I ALWAYS have a great time here. The vibe is always fun and great energy! The drinks are great and the staff is great and fun as well. I didn't not know the nacho serving was huge! Five of us could have ate off that plate and it was only two of us! The chicken wings are always a hit, you could never go wrong and the drinks were delicious. Of course the Wrigley area can be challenging for parking so prepare or use spot hero. Expect parking to be four times the normal rate if there is a concert or if the Cubs are playing at home. I was there yesterday, place is cute. We sat outside and just had drinks. I had the avocado margarita. It was good, but not what I was going for. It's an earthy spicy flavor- palate. I've had better avocado margaritas. Also, we went for line dancing, but the guy at the door said they weren't doing line dancing today, that they do it on Fridays. Stolen Saddle is a must visit! I visited Stolen Saddle with a group of girls and it was absolute vibe. As someone who has been to Nashville a few times, Stolen Saddle looks like it was plucked from Broadway Street. The saddle has bar stools is the icing on the cake! I love how they invested in the inside and outside decor so you don't miss any of the country vibes. My group was able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. The outdoor area is the best place to take photos. The inside of the bar is massive, they have ample seating on the first floor but not much of a dance floor. The upstairs has a larger dance floor so you won't miss out on the dancing. The drinks are delicious and strong. My group ordered the shareable mega Paloma and it was delicious. I was able to get several drinks along with the rest of my group. The biggest draw for Stolen Saddle is the mechanical bull! I've always wanted to ride a mechanical bull so I signed up right away. The line to ride the bull was very short so I was able to top on within 10 minutes of signing up. If you're nervous about the intensity of the ride just chat up the bull rider operator to have him start a little slower so you can get comfortable. It was extremely fun and FREE to ride! I highly recommend visiting Stolen Saddle as soon as possible! read more

I recently went to this new opened southwest/cowboy themed restaurant and bar in Wrigleyville. There are a lot of cheesy bars and restaurants in this area that are generic sports bars and are good, but don't really distinguish themselves. This is not one of them. This place stands out due to its unique, fun atmosphere and good food. First, the food was very good. Their menu is mostly Tex-Mex, but they have a selection typical bar food like burgers and pizza. I ordered grilled shrimp tacos, brisket nachos, a double cheeseburger, Texas tea cocktail and a cookie skillet for dessert. The shrimp in the tacos was excellent. They were cooked perfectly and they were plump. The sauce that came with the tacos was delicious. The nachos were very good, with lots of toppings a healthy amount of brisket. The double cheeseburger was a solid and can stand up to any burger you'd get in this area. The cookie skillet was yummy and the perfect ending to my meal. The Texas tea was tasty and super strong. Second, the decor and atmosphere were on point. They have gone all out with the cowboy theme. Everywhere I looked I saw a cool vintage sign, guitar or something the make me feel like I was in an old style roadhouse. They even have a vintage gas pump and a mechanical bull on site. The details are amazing, down to saddles as bar seats that swivel. Of course, there is the over the top vintage truck on their patio. In addition, this is a great sports bar too. The night I went, I had great time watching a Cubs game and the NCAA Men's basketball final on their many TVs. Third, service is great. The servers and bar tenders really lean into the cowboy at theme, down to a the bouncer who looked like he walked out of a western ranch. There was a mix of beginners and experts with a dance instructor and music choices for each experience level. Do NOT go here for their Super Bowl party! I went there for the Super Bowl in 2025 and it was a disaster. They had multiple broken tvs, and the sound didn't work, even during the GAME! We missed the national anthem, coin toss, kickoff, everything all because they didn't test their equipment ahead of time. And the layout was terrible. The seating they gave us had the TVs BEHIND us on the couches (so we'd have to turn around the entire game to watch). Also the food was false advertising, because they said there would be chicken wings, but it was chicken tenders. Those are NOT the same. Many people there were very unsatisfied and ended up leaving during the 1st quarter. To make matters worst, they said the doors open at 4pm for a 5:30pm kickoff, but they made people wait in the freezing cold so they could shoot their stupid promo videos of how long the line was for an entire 30 mins. It's February in Chicago, let people IN the doors when you say the doors open, not having us stand in the freezing cold with unwanted cameras in our face. I went to Stolen Saddle before the Post Malone and Jelly Roll concert. I was in a group of five. I am not sure that we could have had worse service if they tried. When we got there, the restaurant was not even 1/4 full yet. Our drinks took forever to get there. One of the people I was with ordered a spicy margarita, I can't remember what they named it, and she said it was not the right drink and it was far from spicy. When she told the waitress, she got some lame excuse instead of her offering to replace it. At $15 a drink They should have remade it for her. Then we ordered food. One of the girls got her meal almost 10 minutes before everybody else got theirs. She did not want to start eating before everybody else did, but her food was getting cold. She got fajitas and then asked for some salsa with it. It did not come with any kind of salsa at all and then she was charged a dollar for it. One of the other girls got a salad, which everybody had a small taste of the lettuce and all agreed that there was no dressing on it that we could tell. So she asked for some extra dressing and was charged $.50. Not only was the $40 tip automatically put on but an eight dollar service charge for what we were not even sure. Our meal with tax and tip and service charge was close to $300 for subpar, mediocre food and service. There are many choices for food and drinks in the Wrigleyville area, and this will never be our choice again! read more
