Terrible Customer Service Experience What I initially thought was great customer service over the phone sure did fool me. I called on Friday to schedule a carpet cleaning and was told they would send personnel over for an estimate first. If the day was still open for cleaning, they could even start the carpet cleaning on the spot. I was confirmed an appointment time frame between 12-2pm Saturday. In addition, I received not 1 but 2 follow up emails to confirm the appointment. Saturday came and went with a no show, no call to reschedule or follow up and no email cancellation. Needless to say, we will not be using Brite Carpet Cleaners for any services. read more

SHADY QUOTES GIVEN! I did online estimate for work and was told $200/hr. Wanted them to come and see place to give more exact estimate. He arrived for estimate 1 hour late (no call, no apology- I called them to confirm as I had to pick dtr up from preschool). Finally came and he told me 1-1 1/2 days of work and he'd email estimate. I called them 4 days later as I still didn't get emailed estimate. 5 days later estimate was emailed and it was $4000+. I emailed back that it didn't add up: he had quoted me $200 / hr online (which he didn't realize) and said while at my place 1- 1 1/2 days work- so basically doubled the price. Its the "nice house" up-sale. Complete scam. Don't trust ANY of the estimates he gives!!!!! Would never trust him with my house!!!!! read more

horrible horrible horrible. my experience with brite cleaners so far: i have white furniture, 4 pieces (sofa, loveseat, chair, and ottoman), they were kind of dingy after remodeling and i decided to get them professionally cleaned. called brite cleaners based on a friend's recommendation, i asked for a quote and they immediately asked me for the square footage of my furniture. when i said i wasn't sure, the woman on the phone gave me attitude and said she would have to estimate...whatevs after all this, i still went ahead and scheduled them to come and clean... Day #1 ... they never showed. awesome. waited the ENTIRE day for them to come and they call at 5 saying they're going home and will come back tomorrow. are you kidding me? i just took off a whole weekday for you to stand me up and demand i take another day off tomorrow. ugh Day #2 ... they show up, fantastic. they gripe about how the hose from the van can't reach my living room (i live on a walkstreet in MB) and say they have to use their portable system which is "just as good." Fine, whatever, just get it done. They work for the next hour while i try to salvage some of my work day in the other room. When they were finished, they basically yelled down the hall, "okay, thanks, we're done. bye." i come running down the hall to se their workmanship. they already left and my living room was littered with (i kid you not) sofa cushions with only ONE SIDE cleaned. They didn't even bother to clean the backs and sides of the couches and took off before i could voice my complaint. what's worse, what they did clean was striped and still dirty. I was livid. Day 3 ... i called, fuming, to demand my money back or for them to return and do it again. admitting no blame, they said they would send out a manager the next day. he arrived close to when he promised and looked over their handywork. he agreed that it was not the best representation of brite cleaners, made some excuse about my couches having shitty stuffing (which they dont), and redid the job. since then, i'm still not happy but have given up. i'm saving for a gray couch. read more

I have used this company for the last 5 years due to convenince of proximity to my home but everytime I have been unhappy. They are very unprofessional. They charge a different rate each time and are always late. I am finally done with them after they no showed 2 days in a row. The first time they flat out lied about trying to come and when I rescheduled for the following day, they called an hour after the appointment to tell me they were going to be another half an hour late. I told them to cancel and that I was unhappy about their service which they didn't seem to care. read more

I never used a carpet cleaning service before but I am selling my house and these guys were recommended by a friend. Unlike everyone else that has reviewed this company I had no problem with customer service not had a problem with them showing up. There was only one guy (Fernando) and he was in and out of 4 bedrooms, 6 dining chairs, and 2 fabric bench seats in about an hour and 15 mins including setup. After everything dried there were no spots on all of my items that were cleaned. I can't speak for everyone else that wrote negative reviews but my experience with them was a great one. read more

Sometimes when things go wrong ... it's the recovery that matters. Making good on a "job gone bad" is the hallmark of any good company and the litmus test for true customer service. We hired Brite Floor (not the cheapest estimate) to take care of extensively cleaning a particularly stubborn limestone floor (a rather large area). The workers had to come back a day later with acid-based solution to really solve the problem. This had the unintended effect of staining all chrome & stainless steel surfaces within the general area (it aerosolized) within a couple of days (not immediately). Brite Floor sent back the two technicians (Thanks Carlos!) to remedy the problem. It took about 8 hours of labor to remedy the problem ... which they did perfectly. I have to admit that all stainless steel and chrome surfaces have never looked better. Clearly Brite Floor is a customer service oriented company and they stand by their work. This is clearly why they've been in business for so many years with their reputation held in high regard. Thank you Jon and Carlos. read more

My wife and I were really impressed with Brite Stone and Marble Cleaning. We called them for an estimate to have our concrete floors polished and Jonathan came the very next day, right on time. They did the job on budget and paid very close attention to detail. The crew was really friendly and knowledgeable about the process and the owner, Fred recommended the perfect color for our space. They even pressure washed the work area when they were done and left it cleaner than they found it. We would highly recommend using their service to anyone if you're considering polished concrete. the quality depends on who you get, but I've used them a dozen times cause the price is usually good. You have to negotiate, as each truck has its own crew who can set the price. Sometimes they leave too much water, but they are reliable, so I stick with them. I like to move furniture before hand so its a quicker job, hence cheaper. read more

We had our carpet cleaned this summer after doing some renovation work in our home. I was actually recommended Brite by another carpet cleaning company who didn't service our area. The lady on the phone was nice, but I was disappointed with the two young men who showed up. I kindly asked them to remove their shoes (we have a no shoes policy), and they wouldn't. I later found out that they should have worn booties over their shoes when this is requested. And then I asked if they could move furniture, and they didn't unless I followed behind them and directed them to move chairs, etc. And then when they left there were spots all over our house left wet and stayed wet through the weekend. We tried to use space heaters to dry them. When I called on Monday, they said we shouldn't have used heater fans - the whole experience was just frustrating because they were closed and I didn't have anyone to ask over the weekend, and it didn't help that now those spots that were supposed to be cleaned smelled like mildew. The good part is, the carpet eventually dried and is now good (as far as I can see). I just don't think I'd go back for a second visit. read more

They didn't show up at the appointed time and wouldn't answer or return our calls till 1 hour later the guys called saying they were running late and wouldn't be there for another 2 hours. So we called Trojan Cleaners and they got there in 20 min even though they were on their way home they squeezed us in. Then I got a call 4 hours after I left a message from Brites office returning my call. By then my carpet was already spotless thanks to Trojan. If I could give a negative star I would. A heads up would have been nice, it's not that difficult Brite, seems they're not that bright ! read more

I had our sofa and chair cleaned and when they finished they almost looked like a different sofa and chair!! Excellent job! They also cleaned our ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathrooms and I was surprised that they got the grout as clean as they did. Once again great job. In a nut shell - all the negative reviews on here are very accurate. they were : 3 hours late , 2 sets off excuses from driver & shop. wrong address didn't have accurate info of the job to be done no price quote done until job was finished they constantly made business mistake after mistake , never tried to make the customer remotely happy by offer a discount / credit to future service / any other reasonable practice. with so many other options out there = DO NOT USE !!! read more

I used BRITE services for tile cleaning and carpet cleaning. My carpet looks BRAND new and the tile and grout are as clean as when I moved in!!! They were on time (even early as they phoned to say they could arrive sooner than expected) and the 2 representatives were friendly, professional and very accommodating. The price was quite reasonable for the work done, and I would HIGHLY recommend using this company. The cleaning crews arrive on time and they get to the job quickly. Their prices are very fair. What I appreciate the most is they are a no hassle company. One time I had COIT cleaners stop by my apartment and they kept trying to sell me on this very expensive cleaning solution. Brite just shows up and does their thing. Fantastic service. They cleaned and sealed four bathrooms - stone floors, showers, counters. They went above and beyond to get every detail perfect with some tricky situations. Cleaned shower stains in stone that was porous and should have been sealed years ago. Even repaired some pool grout and cleaned spa tile, and touched up paint. OMG! DO NOT USE Brite Carpet Cleaners!!!!! I sent my $3000 white area rug to be cleaned by this incompetent company, and it arrived yellowed, dingy, still covered in dog hair, and just as filthy dirty as it was when they picked it up! It arrived poorly rolled up in torn plastic, partially sealed with duct tape, still leaving it accessible to dirt, dust and moths, impossible to store it properly! When confronted with the poor "cleaning" job they had executed, they referred to me as "HONEY", and claimed that they "did the best they could do", which obviously is not good enough! Since when is it impossible to remove every day dirt out of an area rug, for a "professional" carpet cleaner ? BRITE CARPET CLEANERS is the WORST! I am out $140, and my $3000 area rug is ruined!
